The Peaceful Cottage- minutes from the airport and downtown!
Welcome to this cozy studio! Nestled in a quiet neighborhood with a serene creek running behind the home, this retreat offers the perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. Enjoy a private porch, a full bathroom, and easy access to downtown and the airport. Perfect for solo travelers or couples looking to explore the area.
This was the best choice we made as a place to call home for 3 days while in Anchorage. This modest home away from home is tucked back in a wooded area by a creek, but so close to everything you would want in a city. The hostess lives on the property, but kept to herself, but was there if we needed something. It was just the right size for our needs, super comfortable & clean. I canât recommend this place enough. We will be staying here on our next trip to Anchorge
Conveniently located close to airport but that means listening to planes most of the night. Full size bed not great for two. Clean and eclectic place, quiet except airport noise.
I stayed at the cottage for four days by myself. It was just right for a person traveling alone. Itâs really close to the airport, downtown Anchorage and Kincaid Park where I was attending an event. I felt safe and enjoyed the quiet location. The host was terrific, and easy to contact. Iâd definitely stay here again.
The peaceful
Cottage was just what we needed for our weekend. It was clean, and has all
The items needed for a home away from home. The host was very helpful
And kind. Would definitely stay again!
What a great decision it was to choose this place for staying at. The hospitality was five star and first class all the way. The accommodations were in a great, quiet area, comfortable and very clean. Highly recommended and hope to stay there again in the future. Thank you VERY much for the wonderful experience.
Needed a bed until flight the next morning. Studio apartment attached to Madison's home in a quiet neighborhood. Madison was beyond helpful in arranging quick transport to the airport the next morning.
This suited our needs just fine. However, the curtain rod right above the bed fell off in the middle of the night other than that everything else was just lovely.
Very cute and comfortable â the bed in particular was wonderful. Lots of nice touches, including a full kitchen and a great shower. A very peaceful spot with a lovely yard, and access to the trail system. Private entrance and parking.
I choose to walk from the airport - it is 2 miles, but itâs all paved trail or sidewalk, so itâs a lovely walk. My favorite coffee shop, The Writerâs Block, is just around the corner.
It was such a nice place to be, I looked forward to getting back every day.
This is a delightful little apartment, tucked away into a quiet, older, nicely kept Spenard neighborhood. The apartment has a queen bed, a kitchenette, a small bathroom, light- blocking curtains, and a lovely yard. Very comfy for 1 or 2 people. It has a stove, but no pots or skillets, and a microwave. Not really set up for cooking a meal but one for microwave dinners o popcorn. Spotlessly clean, thoughtful touches like silk flowers and coasters on bedside tables for a glass of water. Also no couch, so you ned to sit on the bed to watch tv. It does have a small table with 2 tall chairs. I loved how quiet it was there, and how nice the yard was, a very pleasant stay which I hope to repeat again before too long.
No comfortable chairs for watching tv. Bed was too small for two people, a queen would be minimum. Remodel the bathtub/shower... itâs hard to get the temp right on the water. Sometimes hot water comes out when you turn on the cold, ???? Other than these things, it was certainly peaceful.
A quiet peaceful place to stay with a clean room, bath, and a comfortable bed. I had some problems getting in with the keypad system, as I initially was sent the wrong code. Attendant was there to help so there was no problem.
Hi, I'm Maddy! I'm a lifelong Alaskan- born and raised in Anchorage. There really is something so special about this place. We have all the convenience of a modern city, and the perk of driving 20 minutes to a wilderness adventure! This unit is part of a triplex. My family and I live on-sight, keeping it cozy and safe. I can't wait for you to experience the magic of Alaska!
This neighborhood has such a central, convenient location. It's also filled with well-established home-owners with a family-friendly feel. You can walk a few minutes from the property and enjoy feeding ducks in a pond or walking the Red Bridge along Fish Creek which flows right behind the property.
This fun & funky triplex has been lovingly nicknames "The Fairytale House" by the neighborhood. It has a beautiful yard and bold coloring. Upon your arrival, I think you'll find you understand exactly why it has been given that title.
