We had an amazing time. The host was communicative and hospitable. We highly recommend! The location is very convenient for Many Glacier and St. Mary. It was very clean, and the beds were comfortable.
The property was great for our group! Nice view of the lake. Great space. We definitely would come back. It was very convenient to Many Glacier and St. Mary. Abe was a great host and answered questions immediately.
The actual house was fine- lots of room for all of us. BUT the directions to get to the house(map) were not accurate and very confusing. At the end of a long and tiring day we did not appreciate the struggle to locate the place.
Driving up to the property gave us the feel of being super remote and a real feel of being in the wild. The house and condition was spectacular. Rooms were plenty big and beds were comfortable after long hiking days. The location could not have been more convenient for entry to Many Glacier. We found most of what was needed at the small grocery store, but would recommend stocking up on other side of park if able as the variety was limited and they were between deliveries so out of stock on a few things. The steak restaurant close by was a bit pricy, but food was excellent. Other restaurants are within a 10 minute drive and the Sun road.. We would definitely stay here again when coming to the East side of the park.
This home is remotely located and good for our familyâs stay at Glacier National Park. The kitchen does not have what some properties provide but was more than enough for us. We enjoyed some of the DVDS and eating at the HUGE kitchen table. There was plenty of potable water and no water issues washing clothes or dishes. This simple property is great for families wanting quality time together.Abe accommodated requests we had graciously. He also provided his own map for getting to the property. We highly recommend this! Should we find ourselves back in the area we would choose this property again.
Abe was great about communication, and even sent a map to the house. The house was very nice and right next to the lake. We didnât venture out, as a couple of us are mosquito magnets, no matter how much spray we put on. There was a water leak in the downstairs shower from the shower head not being able to adjust its angle. I told Abe, so he could get it looked at. He was very appreciative for the info. Babb itself is pretty isolated. Itâs a great place to stop on your way into the east side of Glacier National park though. We just stopped in for the one night on our way back from Canada. Beds were comfortable enough. Unless you have amazing phone service, you wonât be able to make calls. He did provide WiFi which was nice. Thank you for being a very nice host.
Great location for access to the east side of Glacier, which we preferred to the west side. The description of the house and its amenities, and communication before the visit could have been better.
We loved this house for a place to call home for 2 days so we can visit Glacier. The boys didn't love that there wasn't any internet or even cell connection (which I didn't even realize when I booked) but it worked out OK for us. We enjoyed going out to the lake and playing around. Beautiful house with decent amenities.
This is a beautiful cabin in Babb, we stayed there and saw the East Glacier side of the park and Two Medicine. It was clean and comfortable for my family and I. I donât think this should be the focus of the cabin experience but I think it is just important to disclose to guests that there is no cell service here or wifi in case of emergencies . Ultimately we had cell service on the balcony from Canada.
Navigation apps donât take you right to this property if you type in the address, so the host made sure to send us a pinned location and plentiful directions to help us find it! That was much appreciated. Itâs a remote area with little cell service, so make sure to download offline maps before you go.
Super location, very close to Glacier East entrances. All 4 bedrooms on bottom level, would suggest a deadbolt lock on the front door. Neither bathroom had a towel rack or hook. Great open kitchen and living room area, but limited supplies in the Kitchen. NO CELL PHONE OR WiFii acess in this house.
This property feels like a cabin in the woods. Its very quiet! We enjoyed listening to the sound of rustling leaves outside of our bedroom window.
The house is a bit hard to find, but Abe sent us a hand made map with important markers. The entrance to Glacier National Park is only about 10 miles away. Many Glacier entrance is even closer.
The house is very large and clean. Bring your own food, condiments, toiletries, etc.
A lot of things were misled about this property, it was really mess and for spending
$500+ for a night it was absolutely not worth it, the toilets and showers we'rent clean. They were looking for every possible way to charge us and there was not even any drinking water inside the premises. Definetly not happy.
Close to the National Park, but lacking some comforts
We liked it's proximity to the National Park! Beds were comfortable. But if you're needing a shelf, drawer, hook, bar of soap, shampoo, laundry pod, hanger, or wi-fi... none are to be found!! We couldn't unpack our items as there was nowhere to do so. As it a result, we felt very uncomfortable during our stay.
All of the bedrooms & one bathroom are downstairs with the laundry. The living space/kitchen/second bathroom are upstairs. Some of us had to ran up & down the stairs with all their supplies to shower up there.
The water tastes/smells terrible for brushing/showering. Fortunately, they provided 5 gal of drinking water to guests.
We were instructed to start a load of towels before departing, but laundry pods weren't provided. I wonder if the towels we used during our stay were even clean! Showers & toilets were stained and looked dirty (maybe from the stinky water).
There is no wi-fi and no cellular service at this unit. I am okay for going off the grid, but it was inconvenience as I needed to purchased timed entry passes to the national park, plan my last hikes, etc.
There was a ginormous pile of scat just outside the unit, along with animal bones. I was terrified to walk outside, and only went straight to the car & back (with a buddy!)
The beds were comfortable & the kitchen fit our needs. We wouldn't stay here again though.
This property was great! We enjoyed our stay. The owner provided some extra things I requested before we arrived. Place was extremely clean. Comfortable beds.
