We had an amazing stay at this property! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location was great, and everything we needed was provided. The host was responsive, helpful, and made the entire process smooth from check-in to check-out. Our group felt right at home and truly enjoyed our time here. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

This house was listed as a cozy pool retreat. There was nothing cozy about this house. The listing stated the neighbors take pride in the homes. The neighborhood was not well taken care of. The listing did not say it was a third party company that was being paid or that you had to submit to a criminal background check to rent it. Two hours before check in they insisted on the background check. Never had to do this for any rental ever!! When we entered the house and looked around the condition was unacceptable. Due to the background check that said it was in case we damaged the place. I did a video of the dirty walls, filthy and chipped furniture. The rust on top of the dryer, the filthy light switches and door handles. Mold and filth in the showers. Towel bar brackets from missing towel bars that were left with new ones installed around them. Filthy and water damaged bathroom and kitchen cabinets. Dust covered AC return in the hall. Cracked shelf and cracks on inside wall of refrigerator. I sent the host a message that due to the condition of the house, we would not be staying. No response! I contacted VRBO and sent them screenshots of the video. The host waited three days and sent a message if we wanted to extend our stay. I replied that I sent a previous message about the condition of the house. No reply! This has been a complete disaster and ruined my birthday celebration that was a gift from my husband. VRBO has made excuses saying I paid a third party. Not true!!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I chose this charming spot in Hollywood's Boulevard Heights neighborhood because it offers that perfect blend of suburban tranquility and urban convenience. Located on Custer Street, this area captures the authentic essence of South Florida living with its friendly, established community feel.
What I particularly love about this neighborhood is its peaceful, tree-lined streets and well-maintained single-family homes. There's a wonderful sense of pride in ownership here - you'll see neighbors tending to their tropical gardens, families out for evening walks, and children playing safely in their yards. It's the kind of place where people still know their neighbors and look out for one another.
The location is incredibly convenient - we're just minutes from I-95 and Florida's Turnpike, making it easy to commute to Fort Lauderdale or Miami. Downtown Hollywood, with its artsy vibe and great restaurants, is just a short drive away. I especially enjoy being close to Hollywood Beach and the famous Broadwalk - it's only about 15 minutes to reach the ocean, perfect for weekend beach trips or evening sunset walks.
One of the biggest draws is our proximity to great amenities. The Boulevard Heights Community Center and park are nearby, offering recreational activities for all ages. We're also close to excellent shopping options at Sheridan Plaza and Hollywood Festival Marketplace. Young's Circle, with its monthly food truck events and ArtsPark, is just a quick drive away.
What makes this neighborhood truly special is its authentic, down-to-earth character. Unlike some of the more touristy areas of South Florida, this is a real community where people put down roots and build lasting relationships. Whether you're walking your dog, chatting with neighbors, or enjoying a backyard barbecue, there's always that warm, welcoming feeling that makes this area feel like home.
