The host was very welcoming and responsive to all of our questions. When asked if there was a roasting pan for a turkey, it was delivered upon our arrival! Great kitchen and the rooms were all very comfortable. Perfect for our family get together close to Yale, and definitely appreciated being able to bring my dog :)

Nice place in a good location

We came for a few short nights while visiting UCONN and Yale. It was convenient for both. Amenities were very nice. I worked and had no wifi issues during virtual calls. Walkable and runnable area. We've stayed in several in Milford, and it was one we'd recommend to others.

Beautiful Beach House

Our stay at the Bohemian Beach Oasis was wonderful. All the comforts of home were supplied. The decor was fun and tasteful. The TVs worked well. The large kitchen table accommodated us all as a family. I really appreciated the coffee bar set up with all the necessary supplies. The beds were very comfortable. We used the outside grill and it worked well. We were in touch with the property managers, and they go back to us to address any of our concerns or questions we had. The ironing board was missing and they had one delivered the next day. Overall, we had a lovely stay and may come again. Thanks again.

Good location, good rental. Wanted a place close to the beach as we were in town celebrating a family milestone. The location is decent with a quick walk to beach (a lot of rocks and cold water and seaweed - not that this is the rentals issue, but just letting you know). Bonfire grill is close and good food.The rental communication was great, gave us code and instructions in timely manner.The hold from a 5 star, is that a 5 star is in excellent condition and you feel like on vacation. The rental is good and in good condition. But not in excellent condition and only has 2 showers for 8 people. The up upstairs is small and hot. The upstairs was functional with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The main level was good and enough room for everyone to eat and talk. The garage had a pool table that was used and some beach chairs to use. A nice place.

BEWARE!!
It looks pretty, but what you can’t see is what you have to worry about. I asked about water damage 7 mons. before our trip, because my family has severe mold sensitivities and we needed to stay in the area and help out w/my 73 year old mother’s wedding. Celso told me there were no water issues, the home was inspected for water damage.Turns out there is water damage around all three front bay windows, so bad that even the blinds and one of the curtains have water black growth on them. There is an unfinished patch on the ceiling right below the shower. If you know how water damage works, what you see visibly is only the tip of the iceberg. Water finds the path of least resistance & travels down into the wall cavities to subfloor below. There are signs of water damage around the fridge, in the floor & the baseboard trim. Turns out, this neighborhood was flooded so bad FEMA was involved. The backyard is nothing like the photos. The tiki hut roof was falling in, weeds growing all over, wood with rusty nails sticking out of it, trash left around the property. Celso’s solution was to leave the next morning for a refund (nothing else was available, we were here for a wedding, with a puppy who needed care while we were busy) or he could send a mold inspector which would do no good while we were there. To add insult to injury, I had to stay outside in order to control my symptoms, it was 100 degrees outside, and the backyard wasn’t an option. This property is misrepresented!!

We’re sorry this guest was dissatisfied, but their review contains multiple inaccuracies. There is no active mold or water damage in the home, and it was professionally inspected prior to their arrival. When they raised concerns, we immediately offered a full refund if they preferred to leave, and also offered to send a licensed mold inspector — both were declined. We also had landscapers on-site the next morning to address their aesthetic concerns. Additionally, the reference to FEMA involvement in the neighborhood is misleading. While some areas nearby were affected by historic flooding years ago, this property has never experienced flood damage and is fully livable, maintained, and routinely inspected. We understand sensitivities can vary, but we take guest safety and comfort seriously. Many other guests have had excellent stays, and we feel this review misrepresents both the home and our efforts to accommodate them.
