Pigeon Forge River Cabin, unit 800 “River Cottage”, is located in the historic Old Mill District and is perfect property for the couple or small family looking to escape to the Mountains. This beautiful property sits on the shore of the Little Pigeon River next door to the Historic Old Mill District in downtown Pigeon Forge, and is less than three miles from Dollywood. You can easily walk from the cabin to all of the shopping, dining, and activities that the Old Mill District offers, or you can leave your car parked and walk to Pigeon Forge’s new trolley station where you can catch a trolley to anywhere in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, or Sevierville, including Dollywood. This amazing cottage sleeps 4 with a queen size bed and a sleeper sofa, a year-round electric fireplace, coffee station offering a standard coffee maker and a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, and has a small game room with a cocktail style Pacman game. At night you can enjoy the lit picnic area that has picnic table and an outdoor kitchen overlooking the river, or you can kick back and build a fire in the outdoor fire pit that also overlooks the Little Pigeon River. If you are looking to get away and be able to relax, yet still be close to everything, look no further because River Cottage is the cabin for you. 2 Car Parking. WiFi included. No Pets, No Smoking, Sleeps 4.

Location was as good as it gets. This place was perfect for me and my wife. You can’t beat being on the river and in town by the Old Mill District.
There were several ducks and geese, but this black one stood out. Right in the backyard!

Cute little house Great location

The house is just enough space for a couple. The location was great, tucked away and private, yet right in town and a easy walk to cute little shops and the main road. Easy check in (was ready before check in time). Plenty of towels, the bed was comfortable and nice pillows. The furniture was comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of supplies to make easy meals, The yard was maintained. We would stay again

Great location

we could walk many places, short drives or trolly. Just down the street from greenway. Older home with updates, great for couples. Inside needs more attention to cleaning and the yard was not mowed. We would stay again for the excellent location.

A visit to your favorite grandmas house.

It is a very quaint cottage. I enjoyed the location because it was very close to things and we walked to many shops and restaurants. The houses next to it need a little tlc but I just overlooked that. If I had to say anything that would help improve this sweet little cabin it would be that it needs a better mattress. It’s a sweet older cottage and the price was very reasonable.Do not miss out on the potters house grill next door! It was delicious

This is an older cabin that is in a great location next to the Old Mill and is very walkable to that area and Patriot Park. There is a nice walk-in shower but the toilet sits very low to the ground which would make it difficult for someone who has mobility challenges. We pulled out the sofa bed to use and found leftover cereal in it and stains on the mattress cover. The outdoor space was very nice but you are able to hear the go-kart track next door very well while outside.

While the cabin’s location offers easy access to attractions, we recognize that the nearby go-kart track can be audible from the outdoor area, and we appreciate you mentioning this so future guests are aware. Great house not great location

The house was great. Clean. Had everything we could need (except oven mitts for hot oven dishes). Air conditioner worked great in the heat. Porch and firepit are lovely. Grill worked great. Our only thing to note… the noise from the go cart track on the other side of creek. You can see it. Property is private. But you can definitely hear it! We couldn’t have a nice outdoor evening sit with a fire due to the noise. It didn’t ruin the trip and we adapted. Yet I would have liked to know so I could make an informed decision. We love to be outside in the evening and the photos of the area are what we loved. Looks peaceful. But the noise was a nuisance.

This was the cutest little house. We loved it! It was very clean, it was the perfect size for a few nights away. The grill was a nice thing to have so you don’t have to wait inline at a restaurant. And the river right beside the property was a nice touch. Walking distance to the old mill restaurant and several other things. Only con I saw was that the Speedzone Fun Park was across the river. However when inside the house you couldn’t hear it. And the Park closes at 10 so it doesn’t bother you while sleeping. Plus we weren’t there long must of the time we were out doing stuff. Only grilled one night. It really was the perfect place for us.
