Auntie Meg's, the little blue cottage, is sentimental and welcoming. As soon as you enter this cottage you will feel as though you have come home. So come on in relax, grab some coffee and sit in the cozy living room or chill on the back deck.

Auntie Meg's is centrally located near the historic downtown square in Sulphur Springs. So if you enjoy great locally owned restaurants, antique and boutique shopping this is the place for you!

When you are not out and about and you want to make a meal the kitchen if outfitted with every tool you may need. After you eat, grab some games out of the green buffet, or go out back and play some cornhole by the firepit. Soak in the stay!

We had a great stay. Everything in the house was really well done. You could tell a lot of thought went into the small things that are so important: placement of light switches, electrical plugs. Excellent communications with the host. Not to mention the great banana bread!

The house was clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. Perfectly located for shopping downtown. Plenty of parking. Communication was top notch. Fresh and delicious banana nut bread was waiting upon our arrival. Plenty of firewood to enjoy a nice fire in the firepit. We will definitely book again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Retreat and Relax!!

We felt “home” from the moment we walked in!! There were plenty of towels, great air conditioning, comfortable beds, nice showers, comfortable seating, and great location!!!Highly recommend!!!

This was perfect for both of us to catch up. Life gets in the way sometimes and you need some quiet space. We had everything we needed. The banana bread and coffee were the perfect start when we arrived.

Amazing-Cute-Clean-Comfortable-Above & Beyond!!!!Our stay at this cute little cottage was PERFECT. It is decorated SO CUTE, is CLEAN as a whistle, has furniture and beds that are HEAVENLY, has more than enough room for a family, two couples or lots of ladies. The antiques were beautiful, the bedding and towels were luxurious, and on the island when we arrived was a delicious plate of banana nut bread waiting! We LOVED EVERY MINUTE of our stay and this will be our go-to every time we stay in Sulphur Springs! What a delightful stay!!!!!!

This house is fabulous! Had everything we needed and then some. Great neighborhood. Enjoyed sitting on the back deck in the evenings with a cup of coffee. Wonderful stay!!

We had such a wonderful stay! Everything was super cute, spotless, and thoughtfully put together. The fresh banana bread was such a sweet touch, and our grandkids loved having games to play. We also appreciated the extra supplies like toothbrushes and toiletries in case we forgot anything—it really showed how much care went into making guests feel at home. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

This is a high quality property. It was comfortable, well-equipped, clean, and spacious and beautiful inside. There were snacks, toys, games, comforters and throws handy everywhere, and plenty of linens, and anything you’d need in the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry. Even the selection of books was thoughtfully curated. The host addressed all our questions and concerned promptly and completely. I can’t imagine a better place to stay in the area.

House was immaculate! Everything in the house is clean and beautiful, I felt so comfortable staying here and would definitely stay again. The owner communicated with me and was very nice.

Wonderful Place - Great Host!

We absolutely loved this place. It is very cozy, has all the amenities you need. Had a little trouble with the coffee maker but Felicia took care of it right away. Loved sitting on the back deck enjoying the nice spring weather. Will definitely come back.

Perfect Stay-cation

My friends and I needed a place to stay for a quick little friend’s staycation in Sulphur Springs over Labor Day weekend. We couldn’t be more pleased with our decision to stay here, not only was the home lovingly decorated and stocked to the brim with extra towels, blankets, anything we could possibly need to enjoy our stay, but the host was very attentive and ensured my stay went smoothly.

Great Stay

I planned our annual girls weekend. Great home with nice amenities. We were disappointed the gas fireplace did not work, as this was a main selling point to reserve in January. Otherwise, pleased with our stay.

Amazing house!

Our host was so easy to work with! We LOVED staying at this house. It was so comfortable and roomy! Kitchen had MORE than what we needed. Bathrooms were open and very well stocked with towels and products. The kids appreciated the snacks. Loved the utility / large pantry closet. Will definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I had a short stay as we were in Sulphur Springs for a wedding. The location is right off of a main road which was super convenient for going to and fro. The house was immaculate! Sure clean, cozy, and inviting. My jaw dropped when opening the door because it is EXACTLY like the listing pictures. This little house was open and had everything we needed for a quick getaway. I highly recommend staying here!

Absolutely loved our stay at Auntie Meg’s! I’ve rented several homes in the past, and this was by far the best experience. Felicia was quick to respond when I had trouble unlocking the front door (completely my fault!), and once we were inside, we were greeted with fresh banana bread on the counter—along with snacks and coffee supplies, which was such a thoughtful touch.The home was stocked with plenty of paper products and cleaning supplies—this was the first rental where I didn’t need to buy extra tissue or cleaning items. The neighborhood was peaceful, and we especially enjoyed relaxing by the backyard fire pit in the evenings.I would absolutely stay at Auntie Meg’s again. Thank you, Felicia, for sharing your wonderful home and giving us such a great experience!

Enjoyed our stay at the little blue cottage

We were in town to attend a wedding at The Black Oak and we needed a place for our family of 5 to stay the night. The little blue cottage was the perfect place! It was a short distance from the venue and also conveniently near the downtown/ square where you could find restaurants, shops etc. I loved how clean and beautifully decorated the home was. The bedsheets and towels had the most amazing smell! I even had to go check what detergent they used so I can start using it at home. My small children enjoyed seeing the Christmas tree and decorations around the home. They also loved hanging out in the backyard. The host responded promptly to my messages before our arrival and there was no need to reach out to them during our stay because everything was layed out exactly as it was communicated to us in our check in instructions. We did not encounter any issues during our time there. We throughly enjoyed our stay!
