Welcome to Caribbean Crib, a charming guesthouse in the heart of Beachwalk with a beautiful walkout balcony. Ideal for couples, small families, or even single travelers; this home has everything you need for a perfect getaway.

Just up the stairs above the garage is Caribbean Crib. It is a cozy guesthouse complete with full kitchen, private bedroom with walk out balcony, and a comfortable living room. Enjoy breakfast at the bar or take your coffee and sit on the balcony for a perfect private space.

LOCATION
Located right in the heart of Beachwalk, this cozy cottage is a short distance away from all the resort has to offer. In the summer months, weather permitting, head over to the pool to splash around or take out kayaks on Lake Kai. Bring your bait and take a stroll down to the pier for some fishing and soak in the beautiful scenery of the Lake Kai homes.

Fantastic property property located in a nice community of other vacationers. Lots of thing to do nearby. We recommend the property to anyone needing some R&R!

Great location

Loved the location and amenities. The only complaints were our outdoor shower to rince off sand wasnt hooked up, our tv never worked properly(and with a 2 year old was rough in the evening) and our toaster only toasted on one side, but over all i would go through beachwalk properties again!!!

This property accommodates 2 well. It was well stocked with dishes and utensils, clean, comfortable, convenient and relaxing on deck. The owners are very kind and interesting. I would definitely recommend for a small group of 2-4.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This small guest house is in a perfect location in the Beachwalk community. You are close to everything, but it’s on a very quiet street. The actual place has a bunch of little things that need fixed to make the stay more comfortable. As is the little things add up to make a vacation stay here annoying. Ceiling fans bang constantly, grill didn’t work, some switches are broken, and several other things that a long weekend of attention could bring this place back to a relaxing place. The Beachwalk management was amazing to work with and found us a different location to move to for the remainder of the stay. Maintenance did come over, but would be unable to do repairs without the owners permission, and us leaving the place.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived to find the space hot and smelling like vinegar. We immediately decreased the temperature via ac and turned on the fans. We noticed significant damage to the property (burnt countertop on either side of oven, poorly patched and painted spots on the wall, handles to kitchen cabinets missing, dirty floors in kitchen and bathroom, loud running refrigerator/freezer). The floor in the bedroom was damaged and very loud when you walked on it specifically the wall closest to the balcony. For a place that is advertised as accommodating 4 individuals we would have assumed they would have that many towels for showering. One two large towels, two washcloths, and one handtowel and only one roll of toilet paper. When we opened the pull out to use the bed, there were no sheets present. We hunted for some in the dresser and found crumbled up sheets that were dirty so we had to wash them in the washing machine and dry them before using which was time consuming on vacation. We rented a golf cart that we plugged in when the battery was low and came out to find it was unplugged by the owner of the place we rented who lived next door so the battery was low as we planned our trip around campus. The owner woman was rude when we greeted her outside. We will not be returning to this property and will not recommend to friends.

Reviewer Comments: Situated just up a staircase above a garage, The Caribbean Crib is a great little hideaway for a couple or small family (or extra guests if you also rent the larger adjoining home). The property was immaculately clean and well-maintained. The location in Beachwalk resort was lovely, with lots of activities on the property but pleasantly quiet by 10PM. As the name implies, walking to the beach was a breeze: our toes were in the sand seven minutes from our front door. While our stay was only a few days, everything was here to make a longer visit comfortable: washer and dryer, and a full kitchen (even including a gas stove).A few very minor notes from the stay:• The A/V options are definitely in need of updating. Basic cable only, a DVD player that seems on its last leg, and very limited streaming on the TV that regularly crashed. The Wi-Fi worked well, however, and I would recommend bringing your own A/V equipment to save yourself some frustration.• While a dishwasher is listed in the property description, there is none. You’ll be hand-washing dishes. This wasn’t an issue for us but FYI.• Just about everything you could use was present in the very-well-appointed kitchen, EXCEPT no pizza cutter or pizza pan.As one of the few really small properties at Beachwalk this was a perfect fit for us and we had a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend the Caribbean Crib and would consider staying there again.

The exception was that we really needed the sleeper sofa and it was terribly uncomfortable, noisy and unusable as a bed. One of us ended up sleeping on the small sofa instead of pulling out the mattress. Also, the drawers in the living room cabinet are very difficult to open and close so putting clothes away was not an option either.

July quick getaway

Reviewer Comments: I have been coming to Beachwalk with my family for over 15 years which is why my husband and I chose Beachwalk for a quick summer getaway. The coach house was perfect size however, almost house amenities were very disappointing, especially for the price. There was no dishwasher so almost every utensil and plate we used had food residue on it from previous renters, the wagon was filthy and barely worked, only one burner of the grill worked and the mattress we could feel the box spring it was so worn in. I will never stay at carribean crib again especially when I can stay somewhere more updated in the Beachwalk resort for similar pricing. Very disappointed

Last minute getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I had a relaxing last minute getaway to Beachwalk which is always a treat. Caribbean Crib was prefect for 3 nights with just the two of us. We grilled and cooked every evening. The kitchen was fully stocked with different items we needed. We ate all our breakfasts on the balcony which is narrow but fine for two. They also had a small table and chairs near the grill was nice. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect for young family!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We wanted to do a quick long weekend at the end of summer before the kids are back in school. It had everything we needed to enjoy our little break. Kids are 7&9. I would say that we could do it another year or 2 and then they would be a little big for this little place. Wife and I do talk about it being perfect if we wanted to get away for a little date weekend sometime. We hit the grocery and brought a little food in. Tons of room in the fridge and kitchen are for whatever. We would take lunch to the beach, but there are plenty of yummy/fun restaurants within a short drive from this place that we enjoyed for dinners. Overall this is a great retreat for a small family or couple.
