Upon your arrival at 1187 Pyramid Peak Drive, Mammoth Lakes, CA, 93546 you'll walk up one exterior step to the front door exterior landing. Once you enter through the front door you'll be on the ground level. Up a set of steps will be the main level.

PLEASE NOTE:
* Properties are prepared for arrival with professionally laundered and sanitized linen, bedding and towels:
- Beds are made with a mattress cover, fitted sheet, a down free comforter in between two flat sheets and pillowcases on the pillows. For the Queen size sofa pull out sleeper; all will be found on its sofa.
- Towels provided for your stay will be found in each full bathroom with a bathmat. The powder room will have a hand and face towel.
* Hand soap, body wash, lotion, toilet tissue, facial tissue, paper towel, trash can liners, dish towel, kitchen sponge, liquid dish soap, dishwasher pods and laundry detergent pods will be found throughout the property
* There is no air conditioning.
* Pets are not allowed.
* Images shown were taken prior to COVID-19 preparation done in June 2020

    Review of 1187 Pyramid Peak

    Rating Details: The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time. The unit was well appointed and it is obvious the owners take pride in their home. Kitchen was very well stocked so it was easy to prepare Thanksgiving there. A few suggestions, however. All 3 TV's are old and we were not able to have a family movie night because of very limited channels. That was our biggest disappointment. Also, the washing machine didn't work properly. We would definitely stay there again if the TV's were changed out.

    Nice Property

    Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property is in a great location and is spacious. The views of the back terrace facing the golf course and pond were beautiful. The townhouse was a bit dated though, the bbq was old but worked, the TV's were old and changing the TV channels was a challenge. The house could have been cleaner. Overall descent property, just needs some small upgrades, but I would come back. Snowcreek management was responsive and great.

    Dissatisfied, worrisome,challenging

    Rating Details: The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love Mammoth in the summer. Have been renting from Snowcreek for many many years. Normally very happy. This experience was quite disappointing. Problems we experienced with unit: oven did not work at all resulting in items requiring baking were not able to be cooked or consumed, microwave did not work properly-turntable did not turn resulting in part of food overcooked and part cold, evidence of rodents in unit-previous renter left Parmesan cheese packets in utility drawer in kitchen which was shredded, rodents got into the pantry and got into our food and we put into boxes which helped and there wa rodent droppings numerous locations.Grandchildren and 2 of the adults had numerous bites around hairline on heads and back and legs. It appeared only individuals that sat or layed down on the red couch in den were affected.In bathroom in downstairs bedroom, the light switch for the lights over the mirror was not properly working, toilet kept running at times, mostly mat night time.The bbq did not have flame variation, the temperature when on was always 500 degrees regardless of attempting to adjust knobs. Outside of meat overcooked and inside rare.

    Great location and floorplan

    Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property and we love the layout. It’s also the perfect location and quick to get to the lifts by car. The only thing I would complain about is that the garage remotes didn’t work and the garage door was falling apart, and it could use a new coffee maker. Every time we brewed a pot, there were grounds in it, no matter how much or little coffee we put in it.

    Holiday Rental

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying with snow creek over 10 years and always had a good experience. This year was started off rocky when we arrived. We drove almost 8 hours to get to mammoth. When we were about an hour away, we received a call from Snow Creek management that the heat was broken in our rental and that we were going to have to be placed in a rental elsewhere, indefinitely. We had my older iInlaws with us ,and our 2 young children. We also had a van packed full of perishables and ah ton of other things since our stay was almost 10 days. The inconvenience of unpacking everything and having to possibly pack it al back up to move to our rental when it was ready was very stressful. When we arrived we sat in the other property for 2 hours, exhausted and very cranky. We originally booked the unit we were going to stay in many months ago and specifically chose that unit because we stayed in it before. As we waited in the temporary unit, we discussed how upset we would be if we ended up not being able to stay in our original rental and a possibility of driving back home. I have to say that the management was very attentive and kept us updated for the most part. A few hours later the heat was fixed and we were able to go to the unit. I know things can be happen but I feel that the heat should be checked and other necessities of the property well before guest arrival, in case other arrangements need to be made. The property itself is fairly clean but appliances need to really be updated. The Television set up is archaic with VCR and DVD and very basic cable with a few channels. The vacuum in the unit does not work, dishwasher is hanging on by a thread and the couch that opens up to a bed has a Broken mattress (unusable). The property is in a nice location and very roomy. It’s a nice place to stay but it definitely needs to have things checked out before they continue to rent it out. I would stay again only if they made some updates.

Cleaning staff needs to do a better job cleaning before new guests arrive! Disappointed golf course was closed as it was one of the main reasons we wanted this particular unit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our stay at 1187 Pyramid Peak was comfortable. We had 5 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of space for everyone. Access to to unit was easy, although one of the garage remotes did not work the garage door. The kitchen was well stocked for necessities p, however, the stove itself was inoperative (not on the oven indicated parts on order), so that was disappointing not able to use. Coffee maker crapped out mid stay, so no coffee last two days of stay. Overall comfortable unit, well located and would stay again, assuming repairs are complete. The snow was amazing.

We had always wanted to stay at Snowcreek.This place was spacious and beautiful,quiet,clean,all kitchen amenities you need, beautiful backporch,and view to have morning coffee everyday.The only disappointment was that the spa next door(which was a selling point for me to rent this place) was closed and no one can tell me when it will be fixed during whole week we were there. Also athletic Club spa was closed.

    Snowcreek Fun with Family

Great location, decor and comfortable. Unit is beginning to show some wear and tear. Kitchen needs some basic utensils added for guests cooking regular meals during their stay. Decor is great and furniture is inviting and comfortable. Beds are comfortable! Property management company is difficult, unprofessional and hard to work with. We requested items they provide on a regular basis and did not receive items two days in a row. They questioned us profusely when we brought it to their attention. They made us make an appointment to deliver items on third day so we would be there when they delivered! We did so and waited 2 hours AFTER scheduled time. Items were never delivered! We went to the market and purchased the items we needed. The basics they supply TP, paper towels, soap, etc are of lower end quality. We like this unit but may go through a different rental agency next year. Very annoying!Unit was cleaner than the last time we stayed here but countertops still needed to be cleaned and floors may have been swept but were very dirty when we wiped them with a damp cloth. Cleaning crew did not clean these areas thoroughly. This made us wonder how well other things were cleaned!!This is a great unit... Snowcreek management company was difficult and unprofessional.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a lovely unit! Great layout and loved the decor. Owners have put a lot of thought into making guests feel at home. The beds were comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed lounging on the living roomcouch! Absolutely loved the overall feel of thisunit! Will definitely visit again next year!A couple of suggestions for the kitchen - a new canopener is needed, a full set of measuring spoons anda wider selection of knives would be nice. We clearly did a lot of cooking during our stay!Gave 3 stars for cleanliness because the unit wasvery dusty and floors were not mopped well. Weactually cleaned the floors when we arrived. Weassume this was an oversight on the part ofSnowcreek cleaning crew, NOT the unit's owners.We were very disappointed Snowcreek was not able to accommodate us with golf reservations the week we were staying. We called to make reservations upon our arrival and were told there were no reservations available - even on the weekdays. ????? We look forward to visiting again!
