THE PROXIMITY: If you are looking for a perfect spot to stay when attending an event at the Clay County Fairgrounds or looking to be near St. Johns River for boating and other water sports. Only a 30 minute drive to the Clay theater!
ATTRACTIONS: This home is perfect for a yoga retreat or getaway! Most of the local hot spots are within a 5-30 minute drive. To name a few: This home is less than 3 minutes from Winn Dixie grocery store, Whitey's Fish Camp, Dreamette, G's BBQ, Grumpy's, Call Street Cafe, Spring Park Coffee, Present Tense Coffee and Books, Sweet Sensations. Just a 2 mile drive to the Old Ferry Boat Ramp, or a 9 mile drive to the Black Creek Marina and Boat Ramp.
THE SPACE: The home sleeps 6 comfortably in 2 bedrooms with 1 Queen bed, 2 Twin beds and 1 Queen sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is equipped to service your whole group and cook together for a great night in! Enjoy the wood burning fire pit or propane BBQ all while soaking in the water views. Are you adventurous? Take out a kayak or SUP on the water for a serene daytime float around Lake Asbury. The TV's are Smart TVs, so simply login to your Netflix, Hulu or HBO account to enjoy your favorite movies and shows.

AMENITIES: Linens and Towels Included. Smart tv in the living room, log into your favorite streaming app to pick up right where you left off. Wood burning fire pit with a bundle of logs. Propane BBQ. Patio dining and lounging. Plenty of off street parking for 4 cars. Washer and dryer. Kayaks, SUP, fishing gear (with signed waiver) for fun in the sun!
OPEN LIVING: The kitchen is situated adjacent to the living and dining area so everyone can be together whether lounging, dining or cooking! We outfit the kitchen with one roll of paper towels, a few starter trash bags and dishwasher pods for your first couple of days.
PARKING: There is plenty of off street parking in our driveway for 3 cars. Street parking is prohibited.
LAUNDRY: We offer a set of washers and dryers off of the dining room. We provide starter laundry pods + dryer sheets, iron and ironing board and some cleaning supplies for your convenience.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: In lieu of a traditional security deposit charge or authorization hold for a large sum, we will instead charge a one-time non-refundable incidentals fee to your stay of $99. This fee acts as insurance for minor damages and covers you up to a max of $1500 of damage. You may elect to increase your incidentals fee for more coverage ($99 for $1000, $149 for $1500, $199 for $2000 and so on and so forth). *IMPORTANT: Guests must report to us any damage that has taken place during their stay before checkout, otherwise the incidental fee coverage is null and void. In this case, we reserve the right to charge the full amount of repairing or replacing the damaged items to you. Your insurance coverage amount ($500, $1000, $1500, etc) is not the max that you are responsible for. If damages exist beyond your coverage amount we will document this with photos and professional estimates of repair, and bill you for the repairs or replacements.
Guest Access:
The entire home is included in the listing. The dock is available for kayaks and paddle boards but you cannot dock water vehicles such as boats or jet skis here. You are welcome to bring them on a trailer, park them in the driveway and drop them in at the boat ramp. Parking is available in the driveway. Street parking is prohibited.
The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood is cozy and quaint! Enjoy a scenic walk around with your group or pet. This is a primarily residential neighborhood.

Rental Agreement: A quick virtual rental agreement is required—simple and guest-friendly!
WEEKLY SERVICES: There are various service providers that visit and maintain the exterior of the property on a weekly basis and the days they visit vary from week to week. These services include lawn care, exterior pest control, trash handling and where applicable, pool and spa cleaners. Some properties may have other specialty service providers. If you see them outside, they are just on site to do their job and keep the home in its best condition for the enjoyment of our guests.
Guests must be 21 or older to book.
LOST AND FOUND ITEMS: We charge a $50 minimum to ship forgotten items, which must be paid in advance. For heavier items, we ask that you pre-pay the $50 and we will acquire any additional shipping cost and bill this to you accordingly + 25% service fee.
Fireplace is not usable, it is decorative only.
Our dog rent fee is $30.00/Dog/Night, $175.00/Dog/Week, with a maximum of $300.00/Dog/Month.
-Max weight is 30lb and 1 dog max.
-This fee is added on to your total after booking confirmation.
-The fee doesn't cover damage caused by your pet. We will provide photos and a handyman quote to fairly assess repair charges.
-Pets must be fully housebroken, freshly bathed prior to arrival and treated with flea and tick meds within 30 days of check in.
-Please share with us any details regarding weight, age, if crated when left alone, if allowed on furniture. If you are bringing a dog, please reach out to us directly about our policy and fees!

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend and as a matter of fact we've already booked another visit! We enjoyed three fires (two block north a gentleman sells clean firewood) in the yard and breakfast on the deck several mornings. The property was far more than just comfortable!

Beautiful updated property with amazing landscape, fruit trees, lake view, firepit, and deck. Spotless clean with new furniture and comfortable mattress. Cannot express how beautiful it was to sit at the kitchen table and admire the view of the lake! Conveniently located near everything.

The house is beautifully. The backyard and view are very relaxing and peaceful, perfect for a couple getaway or family retreat. The chek in process was easy and convenient. Danielle provided the instructions clear, the whole process was smooth and quick. This was perfect for me and my party. My dogs really enjoyed the spacious yard. They do not like water so I wasn't worry about they getting into the lake. We got to enjoy some of the features of the house such as the grill and the back deck. Definitely recommend.
