Andy and Dennis are great hosts. Very easy to communicate with and respond to any issues promptly.House has everything you need for a great vacation. We enjoyed 2weeks there and would stay again if ever back in the area.

Our host, Andy, couldn’t of been nicer. He met with us our day of checking in and gave us a tour of the place. Then he invited us to come to his fathers house very near by for fireworks on New Year’s Day. The house had plenty of stock amenities. Was a simply beautiful house.

Andy and Dennis are a father and son team. They are the best host. They will welcome you when you arrive and give a bit of history about the house and the area. The house is decorated beautifully. The beds were extremely comfortable. The area is very close to NAS Jacksonville which we love since we are retired Navy. Also about a 30 minute drive is St Augustine. We were there two days in a row it is awesome. Lots of lovely restaurants to choose from. St Augustine beach is close by we went last year it was lovely , a bit cold this time. There is so much to see and do we hope to be back very soon. Lovely home. Great host!

We loved our stay!

Andy and Dennis thought of everything to make it a home away from home for the week for all of us. They made it so comfortable and were both always available and gave us suggestions for the area, etc. Nice and quiet, close to everything we needed. We had such a wonderful time and would love to come back! Thank you for opening your house to us!P.S. We all loved Max, too!

Excellent property!! Lots of space, pool and tiki area fun and relaxing. Nice large kitchen with everything you need. Host is top notch - responds quickly, attentive, very friendly. Location is great - close to golf, restaurants, and shopping. Hot tub and flat screen on the porch were a definite plus!! Front porch was spacious and comfortable. Sunset views from porch, pool, and master bedroom - breathtaking!! Would definitely stay here again!!

Vacation spot while visiting Jacksonville

What a great location! Quiet, Charming, and relaxing. Nearby restaurants don’t disappoint and the kiddos loved the unique pool, while mom and dad watched from the poolside tiki bar. Our family of five had a great stay. We were in town to visit with local family and the property exceeded all expectations. The house is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood and is spacious for everyone to relax and visit as we celebrated our combined early holiday of "Thanksmas". The photos in the listing are accurate and the kitchen has everything you could need. Andy and Dennis are fantastic hosts from the personal tour, easy communication, all the extras in the house (coffee, shampoo, etc.), ice for our family party and hosting us on the back deck to enjoy some beautiful sunsets on the lake. We would definitely return on our next trip to Jacksonville. Thank you for helping us create lasting family memories and sharing your space with us.

Beautiful property

This is a beautiful property. The house is gorgeous. The owners will come to meet you and give you a tour. They are fantastic people. If you need to go to NAS Jacksonville it is very close by. The neighborhood is beautiful. I will definitely be back. I highly recommend this property!

Christmas getaway

My son and I stayed here over Christmas. Andy had a tree and lots of decoration to make sure we felt the Christmas spirit, which I really enjoyed. House was clean and comfortable. I have stayed at a lot of rentals and this one was one of the best appointed that I have seen with everything you could need plus more. Hot tub was amazing. Andy was such a kind host. I look forward to coming back.

A Family Vacation to Remember

Our family had a wonderful stay over New Years! Andy and his dad Dennis are the most gracious hosts! The home is beautiful with anything and everything one could possibly need during their stay. We were invited to Dennis’ home for a New Years Eve gathering complete with great company, flowing drinks, yummy food, and super cool fireworks! We can’t thank Andy and Dennis enough! Expect The Unexpected!!

Wow! We wanted something “other than a hotel” for several days and we found it! The home was amazing, personal pool and hot tub, tiki bar, whole house sound system and more. My family truly had a terrific time and the hosts were amazing and treated us like family. The kids loved fishing in the lake and the sunsets are truly unforgettable!!

Will stay here again

Everything was as listed. Rooms were clean and comfortable, we had options on the pool or hottub on cool days. We didn't get to use the pool Becuz it wasn't hot enough to heat it up but the hot tub came in handy. Wish it was warmer out so we could enjoy everything but the comfortability made up for it. This will def be a hit during the summer months. Our 7 year old started sleeping by himself while there and has every night since...,.thank you Andy for a great vacation.

Most Welcoming VRBO to Date

We have stayed in a number of VRBOs, but they pale in comparison to the kindness and hospitality we received here. Not only was the home filled with detailed touches that made your stay enjoyable, the owners are outstanding and friendly!!! They make sure you are comfortable, but they also give you your privacy. I was in awe of how much they just wanted to provide you with the maximum experience. If I lived here, these would be the kind of people I would want as friends. The pictures do not do this place justice! Marvelous. We hope to be back.

Quiet Gem

Andy & Dennis were the best! Andy welcomed us and showed us the “lay of the land” and had a tray of snacks on the counter. The home is lovely, pool, jacuzzi, outdoor grill, festive lights around the pool, outdoor speakers, fishing poles and gorgeous sunsets. The home is quaint and comfortable. I typically bring everything with me (toiletries, blow dryer, make up mirror etc.), but they have Everything you need if you forgot something
. Mouthwash, Vanilla infused Nivea lotion, caress soap, body wash, shampoo etc
 If you are looking for a great weekend getaway, this place is a gem!

Great place...superb owners

Excellent experience. Owners met our group of six golfers on arrival and immediately made us feel at home. Nice touches... snacks, golf balls for each of us, ice for our coolers, Keurig pods, creamer, sweeteners, water. Plenty of towels, linens, kitchen utensils, plates, etc, most new or virtually new. Nicely decorated home with HD televisions. New furniture, very comfortable mattresses. Communication was top notch. Dennis and Andy went extra mile to make sure we were satisfied. Very close to grocery stores, many restaurants and great golf courses. Highly recommend staying here.

We chose this property based on its consistently high ratings, but this stay was a major disappointment.Cleanliness issues: stained furniture and sheets, torn and dirty mattress cover, strong mildew odor, mold in showers and on wallboard, cockroach infestation, dirty cookware and utensils, stained mugs, toaster filled with debris, old/open food left in fridge, freezer, and pantry, trash in cabinets.Maintenance issues: rusted hardware and closet tracks, broken closet components, damaged cabinets, and a front door handle that detached during normal use.We arrived late and discovered the full extent of issues the next morning. The mildew smell, visible roaches, mold, and stained bedding made the property uninhabitable.We documented the problems with photos, contacted VRBO, and left for a hotel. Neither the host nor VRBO refunded the unused nights.We have owned rental properties and do not leave negative reviews lightly. The condition of this property and lack of resolution warrant this review. This listing should not remain active until significant cleaning and repairs are completed.

So comfortable and charming!

Everything was provided to give us the feeling of a home away from home! The hosts, Andy and Dennis were a joy to rent from. We loved the beach theme, the pool, Tiki Bar, hot tub, and huge TVs in every room. We would definitely come back to this one!
