Mattresses are firm. Pillows were thick and hard like throw pillows on a sofa. Arrived too late to fix, and it made the first night difficult to sleep. Host did not seem to want to remedy this and made excuses, then asked us to go a second night with the firm pillows. They eventually delivered some softer but cheap pillows after we insisted. Other than that, the place was good.

The unit had some good points; coffee maker w/ coffee, spacious rooms and a nice shower.

The bad news; only one extra blanket, pillows that were unusable, way too thick. Only net flix on the tv, creaky floor, extra loud radiator, limited cups & glassware terrible parking and there was a mouse in the house.

You get a lot for the price of this place!! We enjoyed our stay, the beds were pretty uncomfortable but everything else was great. The only problem was a lady came in unannounced while we were getting dressed for the day, and came through the apartment and sat on the balcony then back through the apartment then left. We had thirty more minutes left until check out, so that was a little odd/disorienting (for us). Otherwise, great stay 😂

Lovely place to stay!

Very nice apartment in a good, quiet neighborhood. Immaculate, loved the bright hardwood floors, full kitchen, nice decorative touches. The king bed was good, the queen in the second bedroom was extra extra firm, but there’s also a comfy couch in the living room if that doesn’t suit you. Excellent water pressure in the shower, and we loved having a bidet! Note that air conditioning is via window units, but they worked well and were not too loud. Extra conveniences include free snacks and an assortment of beverages for purchase. Several good restaurants within 12-15 min walking distance. Owner is very nice and communicative. Great price, great experience, great place to stay!

Great place...

I liked the apartment. It was clean and had many great upgrades for an older building. Loved the couch and recliner, kitchen and dining area. Also loved that it had plenty of air conditioning (all window units). The location is central and it's easy to get places. Didn't love: parking, steep stairs, my wife says socks became dark from floor. No linens (towels) are provided, although shampoo and soaps were. This is opposite from what I've seen elsewhere. We brought soap/shampoo, but not towels. Target had usable towels for good price.

Definitely not luxury

Things I would suggest the host fix1) unit had layers of dust2) not leave windows open only for me to figure it out the next day after freezing all night because drapes were closed and we got in at 10pm 3) food in strainer in sink and wet dirty dish rags left in and around sink4) pillows and beds were hard as rocks 5) open food left in cupboards and rotting apple on counter6) coffee cups were unwashed in cupboard7) coffee grounds still in coffee pot when we went to use in the morning8) neighbors incredibly loud and so was street noise

Functional and affordable apartment but needs some improvements to live up to "luxury" name

This apartment has its strengths and areas for improvement.Pros: The apartment features two bedrooms (king and queen beds), 1 bathroom, full kitchen, dining area, washer and dryer, and a parking space. The host provided thoughtful touches like oatmeal, chocolate, apples, and bottled water. The price was very competitive, making it a budget-friendly option compared to others in the area. We selected this place for its proximity to family, which was convenient, and the host was responsive and friendly.Cons: Despite its description as "luxury," the apartment does not fully meet that standard. The beds were firm with minimal bedding (no top sheets or extra pillows), and a nail sticking out of the floor in the king bedroom posed a safety hazard. The apartment was drafty during our Christmas stay due to air conditioning units left in the windows, allowing cold air to seep in. The hardwood floors were squeaky, and the thin walls meant we could hear loud neighbors and running children at night. The bathroom had a bidet attachment that didn’t fit the toilet properly, causing it to wobble, and the seat was stained. The kitchen, while stocked with essentials, had mismatched, rag-like dish towels that seemed out of place. The washer and dryer were located in a poorly lit basement with narrow stairs and a podium that created a tripping hazard. The parking space was so tight it was impractical for most cars, forcing us to park on the street.

The property doesn’t fit your definition of luxury. But please remember you did not pay for luxury price during the Christmas holiday season as well.

Great place ! 10 minutes from Harvard, not expensive. If ya want the Ritz, spend the money. Otherwise this place is bigger that in the pictures, very spacious. Easy check in. Yes its up a flight of steps. open the first door with a keycode and the steps lead directly to the apartment. Big kitchen, clean , comfy. Yes, the beds are hard. Its not like its a cheap mattress , it just seems like its super ultra firm. But hey, its a great price, 10 minutes from Cambridge. Yeah the parking spot is small, I never used it. There was plenty of parking on the street, I parked directly in front of the door. I was actually closer and easier than the provided spot. It's a good family who rents the unit, I think they live downstairs. I would definitely stay again :)
