Great location, best for 2 adults with room for kids
Minimal amenities and kitchen supplies are limited. Access to bathroom through bedroom. Bedroom doors do not close. Shower floors very slippery, several things could use upkeep.
We met up with friends for an event in Beverly Hills and this place was perfect for our stay. The location was fantastic with great food options in the area. The space was a nice size and the instructions for checking in/out were pretty straight forward.
Property itself needs a good cleaningâŠProbably a good coat of paint would helpâŠon our arrival the lock box was inoperableâŠhad to knock on the door to get the extra keyâŠthere were ants in the kitchenâŠyou had to pay to use the washerâŠthe dryer was freeâŠthe washing machine was inoperableâŠdid call the Housekeeping ManagerâŠMiguelâŠhe was the only positive thing about our stayâŠhe came out and got the washer to workâŠtwo days later he had to come out again to get the washer startedâŠsubsequently the dryer wasnât throwing out any heatâŠwhen we left⊠neither the washer or dryer was workingâŠIâm sure the owners of the property knew about the washer and dryerâŠnot sure whyâŠthere was a second remote for the TVâŠmay have been the Roku remoteâŠ.anyhowâŠit only had one batteryâŠ.Didnât even feel it was necessary to mention it at the timeâŠone thing I didnât see mentioned on the web site was that you had to go into the âmasterâ bedroom to get access to the bathroomâŠthat was kind of ridiculous when there was only one bathroomâŠsomeone could be sleeping in the second bedroom and would have to walk through the master bedroom to have access to the bathroomâŠoverallâŠthere was a spot to park your carâŠ.that was a positiveâŠ.other than thatâŠ.i would not come backâŠmy wife couldnât wait to leaveâŠ
This property is just as described. It is in a perfect spot for almost any destination, attraction, and/or address in LA. Super clean! There is plenty of room for 4 guests and we made 5 quite comfortably. A driveway spot for parking was/is a major plus! This property is a great value and I highly recommend if staying a few days (or longer) in LA. Thank you for hospitality and great place to stay!!
Les points faibles : Communication et emplacement
Unclean due to ants in property
Owner stated that he couldn't get over to the property timely to take care of the major ant problem we had. Ants were present the last two nights we were there and even was climbing on us while we were sleeping. There has been an obvious history with ants since there was an ant spray can under the sink in the bathroom. Very unclean and unsanitary for ants to be everywhere and crawling on us on the couches while we slept. Host did nothing and didn't respond when asked about being partially compensated or at least a discount. Very unhappy with the Host, location was fine but not the Host.
Property was clean. Enough room for our family. Parking is tricky if you have a bigger vehicle but we opted to park at any open spot on the street. No big deal. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Location was great, nice neighborhood. Host was excellent in responding to any of my questions. House was perfect for the 6 of us. Definitely will stay again in future.
Overall okay. Great Location, everything was close (from LA standards). Property owner was very nice & responsive. Kitchen had all basic stuff.
However, I wonder if I should have taken a hotel w/ free breakfast:
- Was not clear from listing that this was ADU behind main unit. I was thinking I'm renting a house, but felt like "servant quarters". Unit was small but OK for 4. There was no interaction/interference from main unit.
- Ants!! Property manager came to spray, but no use- had to use disinfecting wipes many times, also on futons.
- Unit was HOT. 2 pedestal fans were broken, so could not use. Cooler in living rm did not help in bedrooms.
- so we tried to sleep on futons, which were quite lumpy and dirty + ants issue.
- We asked for bedsheets so we could sleep on futons. But renter was unable to arrange.
- Had to ask for paper towels, toilet papers, trash bags - only had small qty.
- Car parking was tough. After booking, I was told to park at an angle on porch since driveway belonged to main unit. And they parked their car at end of driveway, which made a tough/awkward angle for me, forced me to reverse my car and jump the curb - hitting the bottom of my car.
- Washer was broken, handyman could not repair
- Shower head was horrible. Very little pressure.
- The glass coffee table is a danger. it has sharp edges and hit my and my kids several times in the knee.
- 2 cabinet drawers were getting derailed/fell inward (with stuff) when opening.
Hope this helps.
After more than a decade in the vacation rental industry, my spouse and I have welcomed thousands of guests into our homes. With over 4,500 glowing reviews on another popular booking site, we've decided to make a change. Frustrated with the limitations of our previous platform, we've migrated our listing to HomeAway/VRBO/Expedia in 2024. We're thrilled to introduce our fantastic new listing to our cherished guests and invite you to embark on this exciting journey with us! PS. Please see our listing's pictures to see some previous reviews.
