We enjoyed our stay. The space worked well for 2 and it was located within walking distance of all the Bar Harbor amenities. The area was quiet and only minutes from Acadia.
Annâs place is ideal! Right in the heart of Bar Harbor next to the Village Green and all of the best restaurants. It has a bedroom with large closets, and a living / kitchen area that was perfectly comfortable for us and our 2 dogs. Thanks and looking forward to seeing you next summer!
Comfortable, attractively furnished, and well outfitted living room/kitchen with bedroom, a few feet from Bar Harbor's square. We were warm and cozy during to two stormy spring days but were still able to enjoy Acadia walks.sti
We stayed in early October 2024. The place was very clean and tidy, and perfectly suited our needs. The location is perfect, right in downtown Bar Harbor near lots of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay!
This was our second year staying at this property and you couldnât find a better location. Right in town and close to everything! Highly recommended!
We love this place.. and Ann! Much like our first stay we enjoyed this time just as much. Ann is great and helpful if ever needed. I highly recommend and will return again!
This was the perfect place for oou two dogs, my wife and I. Everything we needed was there and the place was very clean and comfortable. The host Ann goes above and beyond to make it feel like your home away from home. We loved it.
We had an amazing stay at this property. The bungalow itself is a nice size with good enough amenities, but the location can't be beat. Right in the middle of downtown Bar Harbor and an 8 minute drive from Acadia National Park, you won't find a better spot to stay to experience all the area has to offer.
Great Location for exploring the National Park and the town of Bar Habor. Really adored the bungalow that can be enjoyed with your four legged friend!!!
Ann was very pleasant and her bungalow in Bar Harbor was in such a great location, centrally located to all the restaurants and bars. Would definitely rent again
Our stay was amazing! You can't beat the location as you are right in the center of town, close to food/shopping and a short drive to Acadia National Park. Although you are right in town the unit was very private and quiet. Ann was great and very welcoming! This will be our main stay for our annual trips to Bar Harbor moving forward!
We had a great stay at your property Ann! I loved that you could walk right out your door and it's right in the heart of everything. Thank you for being such a great host and making sure we had everything we needed for our stay. It was our first time here and we loved it so much we will be back in the future.
Perfect location and a lovely bungalow on a quiet side street. All the amenities needed to make this stay feel like home. Best stay in our 9 years. Ann is a lovely host.
Great location, quiet yet right in the middle of town. Across from Village Green and the Island Explorer free buses. Don't miss Cafe This Way (steps from door) for breakfast and Lunch right around the corner.
We really enjoyed our stay in Annâs bungalow! It was comfortable and quiet as can be, even though itâs located right in the center of Bar Harbor. We loved being close to everything, especially with our senior dog. Everything was just great!
Anne's place was perfect for our one week stay with our dog.
The bungalow had everything that we needed plus a generous welcome basket.
Anne is super kind and responsive.
The property is ideally located, right in downtown Bar Harbor with its own parking space-a big plus. It was perfect for my husband and me and a short walk to restaurants, shops and the harbor. The bathroom is a nice size. There is a washer and dryer available right behind the bathroom. The kitchen was adequately equipped. There was plenty of closet space. Overall, a very nice property.
After living in NYC for what must have been ever, I finally retired to this amazing place in 2001. And what a good decision that turned out to be. I love living in Bar Harbor year round, hiking, biking, skiing, going to Reel Pizza across the street for my bi-weekly movie fix, and sometimes I even have one of their delicious pizzas.
When I visited Bar Harbor in l976 the good Doctor Cameron offered me his house and office for sale. He was no longer doctoring and I fell in love with this old rambling, interconnected piece of property. I would come up here from NYC and garden on long weekends and vacations. Planting trees, flowers, bushes. But all too soon it was time to go back to my day job and I had to put everything away for the next time. Which was never soon enough. During these infrequent visits I also started the many renovations I've done to the property. It was a treasure throve of improvement possibilities, work I love. I am the most happy when I can wear my ratty old work clothes and get my hands really dirty.
Within walking distance to everything, yet nicely tucked away from the madding crowd. Not that there's much of a crowd in the winter. Perfect for summer vacations, and that's when you really need your very own parking space and a bit of breathing room to enjoy all that Bar Harbor has to offer.
