Quiet Cozy Apt Minutes from the Beaches and Shops!

Kick back and relax after spending the day at nearby (0.7 miles) Cape Hedge Beach (free non resident parking), Pebble, or Long Beach-- or Gloucester's Good Harbor beach (2.7). Then, head to Bearskin Neck for a little shop and nosh at the shops, galleries, and restaurants (1.5)!
The Twin Lights are just down the street and you can picnic on or fish off the rocks facing them (open to the public). Loads of good hikes along the coast or back into the woods in the nearby DeLamater Sanctuary.

Things about the unit:
LR--DVD library and hometheater unit (built-in speakers arranged in surround fashion)
--ROKU TV with numerous opportunities to stream (on your subscription)
--Electric fireplace insert with numerous settings for setting the mood (or for a bit of heat?)

We were only there to sleep but very comfortable bed and living room seating! Host was quick to respond to inquiries. Kitchen had everything we needed. Would stay here again!

Great little place, right on the main road and we'll connected to Rockport and Gloucester. Comfortable bed, quiet, nice TV and sound system. Owner was great with communication and recommendations, there was parking, and space ro park our bikes too :)It has a window AC but cooled off nicely at night (mid July) and we didn't need it.Kitchen and shower a little small, but perfect for a weekend

Quiet Coast Hideaway

What I loved most about this property was the location. Set conveniently just outside Rockport, this beautiful cottage was quiet - away from the bustling traffic and tourists but a short 5 minute drive into town. The space was bright with plenty of windows and a nice breeze off the ocean. Although there is not a clear view of the water, you can see the sparkling waves through the leaves. What a treasure.

Amazing gateway

During my searching this cozy apartment stood out to me and decided too book it. I am glad i did the vrbo host was really informative and easy that i plan to rebook again on the next trip out here in rockport. I highly recommend to give this place a try you wil not be disappointed.

Nice little hideaway centrally located

The apartment was very nice except for the bed. My husband and i both have neck and back issues and the mattress was very soft. I realize some people like that but for us it doesn't work. Otherwise it was perfect.

Cozy Apt which was great starting point for everything Cape Ann

This was great cozy apt which was perfect for what we were looking for....a starting point for all of our actvities whether it be day visits to Salem (I encourge taking the train from Rockport) visiting the restaturants and shops in Rockport and Glocester. The things you must do is walk across the street and down the road to view Flat Point..,..breath taking and secondly I would take the scenic route around Cape Ann. The apt was perfect for this and the entire check in and comnmunication process with the owners was a breeze.

Perfect fit

The apartment was a perfect place to stay for our weekend visit. We also appreciated the recommendations and went to Bearskin Neck for food and to enjoy the scenery and shops and the drive into Salem for the day was not bad at all! Great communication and clean, quiet place to stay!

Perfect weekend getaway

We stayed for a weekend with my 8 yr old daughter, it was only a 5 min drive to the Long Beach. The place was perfect for just the 3 of us. Tom was available if we needed anything but gave us our privacy. Would definitely recommend this place, we had a great time & the weather was perfect!

The Perfect Weekend Getaway

My wife & I took a last minute trip for our wedding anniversary. Tom and Jennifer's cozy apartment was a perfect choice and exactly what we needed. Minutes from "downtown" Rockport and perfectly situated between Glocester, Essex & Ipswich, there's endless possibilities for activities, beaches, breweries, antiquing and more. We spent our days adventuring around the area, and evenings relaxing down by the water (which is across the street, by the way) with a pizza from Surfside and bottle of wine. Tom and Jennifer were also kind enough to surprise us with a bottle of champagne upon arrival. If you're thinking about visiting the North Shore, look no further. We can't wait to be back.

No Frills, But Great Deal!!

This was a last minute booking for us! We stayed 14 nights. It was a no frills....great deal for that many nights. The location is great! The host (Tom) was great! Easy checkin and I liked that we were separate (over the garage) from the hosts! I would, however, recommend that they add a small table and chairs to be able to eat comfortably inside (in place of one of the couches) and a couple of small end tables for placing drinks and such on while watching television. The bathroom and kitchen area are very small (and sparsly stocked, but that's ok with us) and there was no broom or dust pan to sweep up our messes and crumbs (I like to do that). All and all....it worked for what we needed at the time and we were thrilled to be able to have a place to stay....last minute!!
