The cabin was wonderful - clean, nicely decorated, well stocked, etc. The host was fabulous and went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my stay. I wouldn't have changed a single thing!

This is a great spot for a quiet getaway. We enjoyed the cabin, access to the waterways, and a bonfire with kindling and wood supplied. Kip and Leon are so helpful and kind. Thanks again!

We had a very relaxing week. We brought our e-bikes and enjoyed almost 100 miles of riding on the various trails in the area. The cabin was very comfortable and well stocked.

My husband and I had an awesome stay at Bear Claw Cabin. The property is comfortable, very clean and well appointed. Unique layout of the cabin and attached shower house.Very friendly and informative host. Would book again!

Perfect Place to Stay

Everything was absolutely perfect with alot of extras that we weren't expecting. The cabin was well-appointed and super clean. There was lots of room to play outside and enjoy the Northwoods. We will definitely be back!

Perfect

This cute little cabin was perfect for my wife and I and our 4yr old and 1yr old. Lot’s of space for a little cabin. Clean and decorated great. Took my boy fishing from the dock a caught fish after fish. Was a perfect little getaway! Would recommend!

As shown in the pictures with a few upgrades. The cabin was cozy, the bed comfortable and the screen porch was used every night to play cards and games. The hosts were very friendly and answered all our questions. The kitchen had everything that we needed for our stay. The separate bathhouse was tastefully done and the walk-in shower is nice and roomy, it didn’t bother us that it wasn’t within the cabin. We brought our dog with us and she loved all the open space. We also brought our boat with us to do a bit a fishing, although we didnt catch a lot of fish there’s nothing better than a fresh caught walleye dinner.Our week stay did come to an end, and we both felt much more relaxed than when we came. We highly recommend this cabin if you want a very peaceful get away.

Comfortable cabin

This was a superb choice for a quiet getaway. Our hosts were so hospitable, the cabin had everything we needed and was very clean, and the grounds were quiet and beautiful. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing (caught bass off the dock!), the private trails, a campfire, and plenty of spots to chill out outside. The WiFi worked well enough to do a few business calls. All in all a great time—we’ll be back!

Absolutely one of our best VRBO stays!

We decided last minute to get away and from beginning to end this was a great experience! Kip & Leon are special hosts and down to earth people! They take pride in their property and rentals! Their cabin was so cute and the decor and layout were perfect and we loved the story behind it! If you are looking for a place that is peaceful, yet an easy drive to everything, this is the place! It was extremely well stocked! We will definitely be back along with our family next time!

The best VRBO we've stayed in. King bed had a wonderful mattress. Both of us slept well, along with our two little dogs.Extremely helpful host Leon! Helped my partner get his kayak in and out of lake access. Provided all we needed or could have imagined for a great stay.Kitchen had great pots and pans, along with spices, snack goodies, nice dishes, etc. Very nice microwave, along with refrigerator and oven/range, and coffee maker. Even had our favorite coffee--Dunkin!

The Perfect Cabin!

We loved our weekend spent at this cabin! Kip and Leon are wonderful people and great hosts! You can tell they really put their heart into rebuilding this cabin and have created a beautiful place to stay. The cabin has everything you need and is fully stocked with kitchen supplies, coffee, seasonings, snacks, firewood, and it even has A/C and heat. The cabin and bathroom was very clean! We enjoyed the fire pit, grill, playing lawn games, and using the kayaks! We also enjoyed chatting with Leon and his family while we were there…they are all so sweet! While you’re here, you have to go up the street to the Woman Lake Lodge and grab some fresh donuts!

Nice long weekend getaway in the middle of the week

Leon and Kip are gracious hosts, and the property is beautifully situated on the small Boy River with boating access to both Child Lake and the much Larger Woman Lake. I paddled my canoe into both lakes and caught a few fish in each. The best fishing show was off the dock where we watched a great blue heron patiently wait like a statue for many minutes before stabbing and eating a hand sized sunny. We saw eagles loons, ospreys and many smaller birds. Very nice. Bill
