Lovely condo. Only complaint would be that there is no washer and dryer. Not a problem for short trip, but wouldn’t want stay longer.

If you have to go to Galveston - this is a great place to stay. My daughter had a sand volleyball tournament and this place was perfect. Very easy and a GREAT VIEW!!

Great stay!

Only downside was there is no pantry, so after grocery shopping for the week, we had to use the counter to store pantry items. But otherwise, it was amazing and we would definitely come back!

Everything was very clean and modern. The beach was great and the property heated pool was husband and I will definitely stay here again. The property was VERY clean.

July 4th Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Galvestonian has been a favorite for more than 20 years. Unit 502 was exceptional! We thoroughly enjoyed the condo, property amenities, and beach access. The front deck personnel was not as friendly or knowledgeable as in past years. They could not answer questions about cancellations even though there was a named storm in the Gulf. We did not like the mandatory wristbands...very annoying and uncomfortable.

For the safety and security of our guests, we identify guests, staff, and owners with a small wristband. If you have any questions or concerns during your stay that the Front Desk agent cannot answer for you, please ask for a manager.

3rd Time Returning

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 3rd time staying at the Galvestonian for a vacation. We love it every time! The condo's are great, the staff (in general) is great, the building and grounds are great, and the beach/ocean is so amazing!I will say that this time was a "little" disappointing, but probably not enough to stop us from coming back again. Our son had a few exchanges with a new front desk lady that was in-training when we were there, she was kind of rude and a bit condescending to our son, as well as the disappointment of not having laundry facilities available to us as we had had in the past. Also, not having housekeeping available in the evenings for things like shampoo, toilet paper, or lightbulbs (according to the front desk staff) was a bit annoying. However, in the mornings, the front desk staff grabbed said items out of the cabinet right there at the front desk, he didn't call housekeeping, so I'm not sure why we couldn't get that stuff in the evenings?? We were told we couldn't get it because housekeeping wasn't there, but the guy there in the morning grabbed from a cabinet at the front desk, he didn't call housekeeping, and said front desk trainee laughed at my son when he asked for another lotion and she said "we don't have stuff like that here". I was also bummed there wasn't a bonfire/firepit available.

This condo is beautiful. Well decorated, clean, comfortable beds, and quiet. My one star deduction comes from lack of a washer and dryer. When you book something for an extended time, that’s needed. We had to go to a laundry mat in town, because the condo property doesn’t have one either. Everything else was lovely.
