The kitchen had everything we needed to bake a birthday cake. The staff at Best of Canaan were very friendly and helpful in directing us to schedule tubing and sledding while we were there. Donna is very knowledgeable about the area and all the rental properties available for our next stay.

Always Enjoyable

This is our third year staying at the Lazy S. This stay was just as great as the past. Always maculate, has everything we need, spacious, cozy, and peaceful. Love the new reclining couch, had one rainy day and definitely put the couch and TV to use! We’ll definitely be back.

Enjoyed our stay at Lazy S

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second time at Lazy S. We like this dog friendly property because of the fenced yard and the location. Located at the back of the Timberline community, it is very private and backs to the Wildlife Refuge. We were fortunate to have beautiful weather in early June and enjoyed outings to Blackwater Falls SP, Dolly Sods, and Canaan Valley SP. Don't miss the great ice cream at the Ice Cream Shop in Davis.

Just what we needed

This year has been rough for us and the down time that came with the rainy weather was just what we needed. Lazy S is a beautiful spot to just enjoy some solitude. It is nice to not hear sirens all night, or blasting music. We love being back in the trees.

A Perfect Stay for Us and Our Labradoodle

One of my Favorite Rentals in Old Timberline

And it is always great to be able to access Dolly Sods from the gated community access trailhead on Valley View. The house itself is perfect for our needs. A great size with all the household items you could need. We will definitely be back.
