The cottage was a perfect central location for all that we wanted to do in New Hampshire. The 3 season porch was a huge hit with us. It surprisingly had plenty of amenities that made the stay easy. WiFi was a huge plus with the kids, and still had the rustic charm that me and the Mrs. were looking for. Moultonborough is a sweet and calm town. Everyone walking around there was super nice and welcoming and had the laundry and grocery store were closer than we thought. Felt like it had a nice small town vibe.My better half said that it needed to be a little updated, but I personally enjoyed the "old style" cabin feel. Sleep number bed, air conditioning, shower and bathroom all worked great! Perfect for a small family for a week stay. The owner of the cottage had simple instructions and was very polite. Great memories were had, and would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway from all the hustle bustle. A stay.
Cabin was as described. Loved the enclosed porch. We were out all day but the porch was perfect for quiet evenings after your busy days of travel, visiting and exploring. Very quiet area but easy access to go sight seeing. Easy check in and great communication. Hope to return some day
Short vacation with my sister and 2 disabled children. Accommodations were as described, small cottage, but plenty of room for the four of us. Tranquil setting, far enough away from the hustle and bustle; still close enough to everything to be convenient.
Nice and clean. The screened porch was great. A nice spot to read or relax. Weâve been coming to the area for 25 years and would definitely stay here again. Thank you.
Nice town beach close to house. Small in size but had everything. Verizon customers had poor service in area. Not for someone that needs a TV to watch.
I love this cute cottege. It is very private but easy to get to necessities and adventures. I love the lakes region but happy to be on the mainland. I also enjoy visiting the mountains and can get to both from this cottege. No wifi or cable but we brought DVD and was able to pick up a signal on the sun room. My second stay here and hopefully not my last. I highly reccomend this place and the owner is very responsive to needs

Delightful Stay!
"The Cottage" is very nice. It had everything I needed and the sun porch is great! The beach is beautiful and only minutes away.
When I arrived, the water wasn't turned on so I called John. He walked me through flipping the breakers and all was well. John is very responsive. It turned out that the instructions were on the dining room table. My only suggestion would be to tell people ahead of time that the water may be turned off etc...and to follow the instructions.
On the surface it appears clean but the kitchen sink was dirty and so was the refrigerator. Whoever is doing the cleaning should pay a little closer attention to things like that.
I would recommend staying here. It was relaxing and just what I needed!
I couldn't have loved it more. Very private clean has all the modern necessities appliances are great.
Sun room is amazing with futon if you want to sleep out there you can. Comfortable place to eat on a very hot or rainy day. Bedrooms are a bit small but sleep comfortably. Good airflow with ceiling fans. Air conditioner available if you need it we didnt.
Management VERY pleasant and responsive to any of your wants and needs.
No internet connection. But step onto the porch to make your cell calls or look something up on the internet and it will work.
Convenient to the Lake and drivable to the mountains. We went to both. It's New Hampshire be sure to dress for both summer and fall even when it's summer. It gets unseasonably cool or hot as the sun and is unpredictable
I plan to stay there again. It was wonderful I give it an A+. Thanks for making my vacation even more perfect.
Great bed, had a sleep number system. Also had a hot and cold water cooler for drinks. Big new built in microwave. Older stove worked great, fridge a little dirty. Overall house was very clean. Awesome new screen porch with heavy sliding windows and doors. Furniture was comfortable unlike many cabins I've rented. Location was half mile from a nice beach on Winnipasakee. Yard was modest with boat trailers and lots of wild blackberries. Privacy was good, could not see neighbors as house is back off the road. Not plush, but a very nice cottage. Bedrooms were small to make room for nice living room and kitchen. Dining area is small so we ate on the screen porch. Powerful air conditioner too. The grill was vintage but worked great. We had a great time and would go there again.
"The Cottage" had everything: full kitchen, screened in porch, 2 bedrooms and full bathroom. It was close to the lakes, hiking trails and the white mountains. It was pet friendly too!
Everyone in NH is so friendly and nice. We had a great time!
This property is in wonderful location just 5 minutes from the beach and boat ramp. Tacked away from the road providing just enough privacy to enjoy quiet evenings. Kitchen was well stocked for simple meal preparation. If you want to experiment with more fancy cooking or barbecuing bring your own spices and condiments. Bathroom was spotless and overall the place was very clean and comfortable. This is a rustic cottage so you will not find luxury here. However, for people who enjoy the outdoors like ourselves, you cannot beat this lakes region location for the price! The enclosed porch is a pleasant seating area great to enjoy morning coffee. The owner was very friendly, informative, and very accommodating (thank you John!). We had a lovely stay and would recommend this cottage to anyone. Looking forward to come back again soon.
