Welcome to your cozy home! Just 10-15 min from downtown Harrisburgâs dining and cultural scene, Hersheyâs Hersheypark, Chocolate World, Hershey Gardens, and Tanger Outlets, and Camp Hillâs shopping and dining across the bridge. Near Penn State Health hospitals and Harrisburg Intâl Airport. Enjoy central AC, new appliances, and refinished hardwood floors. With three bedrooms, a comfy family room, and a dedicated office, this home is perfect for relaxation!
This residence is in an older historic row house neighborhood of Harrisburg and an easy drive to Hershey park. Although the home shows its age it was well stocked, had some newer furnishings and tvâs, was comfortable, clean and quiet. The kitchen also had everything we needed to prepare snacks and breakfast, including coffee. There were plenty of towels, shower pressure was perfect and the beds were comfortable. It was very hot during our stay and the a/c was welcome after long days at Hershey. On street parking was ample, we were always able to find a spot with no problem. The neighbors were friendly, had cute dogs and the adorable little girls were nice enough to show us the fireflies they were catching. This was one of the quietest VRBOs weâve ever stayed at, great for sleeping. Davian is extremely responsive and accommodating, a great host!
Les points faibles : Emplacement et exactitude de lâannonce
Never again
This property was listed as "sleeps 8" and we are a party of 8 (2 adults and 6 kids). However, there are only 3 beds (2 queen and a full). The pictures for one of the bedrooms shows a small couch which I mistakenly thought would pull out. It did not. When I called the property manager, I was told people could sleep on the couch which has recliners. I feel like this should have been disclosed, or the listing should state it sleeps 6, rather than 8. The 1 bathroom is very tiny also, and is located on the second floor so the people in the basement bedroom have to climb 2 flights of stairs to get there. The other thing advertised falsely is how far away it is from Hershey Park. It is a solid 25 minute drive, rather than the 10-15 minute drive as the manager quoted. Also, the neighborhood where this home is located is very sketchy. My husband actually did not feel safe staying here, so we left and got a hotel, and unfortunately forfeited over $800.
