Very comfortable and clean. Great location in Harrisburg. Near the river and beautiful area to walk or ride bikes. There was 6 of us and every room was comfortable and two full bathrooms!

Great Stay in Harrisburg!

From the moment we stepped in the door I knew this house was the perfect choice for our reunion weekend with friends. It looked exactly like the photos online, and was super clean with a well-stocked kitchen and great dining space for everyone to hang out. Good bed/bedroom configurations allowed for plenty of options to accommodate our needs. The house is renovated throughout and convenient to everything downtown. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely, remodeled row home just steps from the riverwalk and very walkable to the capital and downtown bats and restaurants. The property is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The beds are lovely and every bedroom and living areas are equipped with air conditioning. Overall a great place to stay i. downtown Harrisburg. My only criticism is that the outdoor area could use some cleaning up. I also messaged the hosts a few times and felt like the auto response came from a BOT rather than the owners since my question was not directly answered. They did provide their telephone numbers, but my need wasn’t urgent. I would stay at the property again in the future.

Excellent stay!

Doris and Bonnie were very accommodating! The communication was *excellent* from the start. Upon arrival, we had a mixup with the code for the entry door. They responded immediately to confirm the code! They also helped us obtain a parking permit on the first day of the stay. The property was extremely clean and as advertised! The neighborhood overall was very nice. The parking is definitely not ideal, but it’s downtown, so that’s to be expected. ***Make sure you take their offer to obtain the parking permit before you arrive as Harrisburg is not shy about ticketing.*** I would definitely stay with them again if I was in the area in the future!

Great Location in Downtown Harrisburg

This location was great for our stay at the Farmshow. We were only 8 minutes away. Also, able to walk to local shops. There are a lot of steep steps in the home, which I believe is mentioned in the description. Nice place.

Great Girls Weekend Get Away

Convenient, clean, efficient .... lots of sleeping space with comfortable beds. Walking distance to everything, safe neighborhood. Plenty of on-street parking for the weekend. Description and pictures accurately describe the place. Host, Bonnie was welcoming and available if needed. Kitchen was fully equipped and enjoyed the small outdoor space. Would recommend!

Great stay

This townhouse has been recently updated and looks nice. The setup of the house was also great for our family. The owners were responsive. We only had an issue with the AC unit in two rooms, but unfortunately this was during some of the hottest days there. I would recommend this townhouse to anyone looking to stay close to downtown, very short distance to river and restaurants!

Overview

Was a nice 👌experience. The facilities was closer to Hershey Park about 25mins and other tourist attractions like the FNB area which is just a walking distance to board the Ferry ⛴. Walking on Walnut street bright 🌉 through the Susquehanna River was just a lovely 😍site to see. Overall, will love to go there next year.

Had a Nice Stay

Great location within walking distance to market and several restaurants. As another reviewer mentioned it’s an older home with cracks in the wall and older features. But the owners do a nice job of keeping it clean and the house was fully stocked with kitchen items and linens. Beds were very comfortable. Our only issue was the home was freezing when we entered bc the heat had not been turned on and took us a while to figure out all the room heaters had to be turned on individually. It was a quick fix but a heads up would have been helpful. Bonnie was very responsive and overall we had a great stay!

This stay could have have easily been a 5-star rating if not for one pervasive issue & the complete lack of follow-up on the part of the property manager/owner to address. The positives: The property is near main streets & FNB Field. The decor is nice overall.The negatives: Lack of responsiveness to an issue with an odor of urine in the living room. Immediately upon arriving at the property, there was a strong smell of urine. From our 6 adult/6 child party, all but 1 parent commented on the smell upon first walking through the entrance. We brought the issue to the attention of the provided contacts via the Vrbo app and called the primary contact. The name provided for the primary contact had a 1st letter of “B” so I’ll call her that for short moving forward & to protect her privacy.We arrived after 11 pm Saturday so understandably, B responded that it was late & asked what we would like done about the issue. We asked that the smell be addressed the following day & B agreed to send cleaning services the following morning.The next day, 3 different messages were sent to B and the other two contacts provided to check on the status of the cleaners (in the am, early afternoon, and late afternoon). Not once did the managers respond. Instead, we continued to get reminders about check out procedures signed by 3 names. Based on the complete dismissiveness, we concluded that the owners use an automated or AI for communicating via Vrbo. Hopefully others experience better.

We didn’t expect the amount of stairs that were at the property. The house is 4 levels.

Overall, good. It’s an old house in old town Harrisburg, so it has its old house quirks.

Bonnie was great!

Bonnie was very attentive and responsive. Her house provided a nice space to stay for my friends and I. We made it to the building to pick up a parking permit minutes before they closed and found out they only took check or money order for payment. Unless I missed something, that was the first I heard of that. Other than that, we had no complaints about our stay at Bonnie's house! She had everything we needed!

Property was in a good area and walking distance to restaurants and bars. The Property owner was excellent she responded to all text and calls immediately. The property was fully stocked with all essentials needed for your stay. There could be some updates as far as the interior of the house. Overall I had a great time.

Harrisburg Hiatus

The townhouse was wonderful! The kitchen was well appointed, the decor simple and exciting, and the beds comfortable. We absolutely loved the location. We could walk two blocks to the riverfront or 2 blocks to the Broadway Market. Also walked to the Mill Works for a fabulous dinner. Perfect location! Could not believe our good luck, will stay again!

4 bedrooms within driving distance to Hershey Park

Nicely decorated, immediate neighbors were quiet and polite, and owner was very responsive to gas smell when using oven and getting Sling (TV) working with needed credentials. However, need to be aware of surroundings when getting outside of the neighborhood. Zone 1 parking restrictions are everywhere nearby and quickly enforced, so worth getting a visitor parking permit if staying during the week (owners did make us aware). Parking spots nearby were readily available. Walking into the house, again nicely decorated and some newer flooring, but overall the place shows it’s age. Uneven floors, walls aren’t square, ceilings show previous damage that was poorly repaired, some odors upstairs, carpet damage, most doors don’t close properly or latch. Worked out ok for our trip but wanted to make sure the feedback was honest because we were disappointed with the conditions of the house and a bit surprised it hadn’t come up in other reviews. To sum it up, super responsive owners, pictures absolutely captured the modern, HGTV worthy decor, but we had a bit of a shock factor walking in and seeing the actual conditions of the home.
