Beautiful home with lots of amenities! Julya and Tommy have put much attention to detail and it made for a wonderful stay. They are quick to respond to any issues/inquiries. We were only there for a weekend but we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! Thanks!!

Had so much fun here! My 3 year old had a ball. Happy baby —happy mom :). The amenities were endless -such a fun place to stay. Loved waking up to the sound of crashing waves and the breezy beach front. The property owners are very responsive and incredibly professional. Loved our stay!

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Helm Haven! The property was as depicted and the hosts provided several additions such as a multitude of dishes, pitchers, knives, to help with serving food, a functioning grill, and beach equipment which was essential for our stay. The rooms were clean with clean linens and towels. The beach trip is short and the view from the home is beautiful. The only downside to the stay was while there are 5 bedrooms, there are only 3.5 bathrooms which made showering for my guests a little complicated. The check out time of 10am was a bit early--wished it could have been later without having to pay a fee. But all in all, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Helm Haven! The house is spacious and so well equipped for kids. The beach is a short 3 minute walk away and wasn’t crowded at all. We found some sharks teeth too! Absolutely would recommend staying here, we will be back!

The best vacation ever

Tommy and Julya were amazing cleanliness, a great location, the host's hospitality, beautiful decor and amenities, and family-friendly aspects. They emphasize the comfort of the space, the convenience of the location, the attentiveness of the host, amazing experience, I would definitely go back. , beachoverall positive experience.

I gave a 4 for cleanliness because the front porch cushions, carpet could have been cleaner and more inviting to sit outside.

Weekend getaway with friends

We had a wonderful weekend at Helm Haven! The house is just as described and the view is even better in person than pictured. It was clean and inviting. The kitchen is very well equipped. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and view from the porch. My daughter brought friends for the weekend and they loved the game room and theater. The beach access is close and convenient- we just walked right across the street for several trips to the beach. Check in and check out were both easy and communication with the host was great. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay- highly recommend.

Beautiful home, great for kids!

The home is beautiful and sits back in a quiet wooded neighborhood within walking distance to the beach. It has just about everything you would need to enjoy your stay, except paper towels, but there is a Dollar General right up the road. Every room had a smart tv. There is a great playroom for children with a rock climbing wall, rope swings, pirate dress up, foosball and arcade games. It is upstairs overlooking the dining room below with open railing. The railing is spaced very close but just be very mindful if you have a little climber like we did. There was plenty of room and they were all beautifully decorated. I did have to a deal with a bunch of ants in a downstairs bathroom and the basement theater had a very strong musty odor and was home to many crickets. Lol! After emptying and turning on the dehumidifier, it helped a little. It was also very hard to hear a movie in the movie theater because the HVAC system made a very loud buzzing noise when it was on. I alerted the owner and she said it was looked at and was fine. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

We truly appreciate the feedback on aspects that need improvement, and we have been working since your stay to improve each of the points you mention, including by replacing a faulty motor in the HVAC system (which, upon second professional opinion, seems to be responsible for the noise and smell in the basement).
