Historic downtown guest suite with modern amenities located in the heart of the capital city. Within blocks of great dining, shopping, entertainment, and historic sites. A short distance to Buffalo Trace distillery, Keeneland racetrack and beautiful bluegrass horse country. Conveniently located 30 minutes from Lexington and 50 minutes from Louisville.
Great place! We enjoyed our stay and loved how close it was to coffee, restaurants, etc. Had everything we needed and our host was very responsive to questions. We had a car and they provided a dedicated parking spot in a garage.
The Trace Downtown was an amazing place. Clean, convenient and spacious. We would highly recommend to all. The owners were great communicators and made it easy to stay here.
Would definitely stay here again! Property was clean and well maintained. Loved that the old world charm was maintained while making it bright and fresh. Location made it very walkable for dinner and drinks as well as an easy drive to distilleries, wineries and plant nursery that we wanted to visit
The stay was lovely and had everything we needed and easy access to all the local shops and restaurants/bars so that was wonderful. So happy we chose to stay here.
This property had everything we wanted in an overnight stay. We were within walking distance of everything in Frankfort. It was a little noisy outside on a rowdy Saturday night while we were trying to sleep, until about 1am but that is no fault of the owner. If we stayed again Iâd bring a sound machine. It was very clean though and such a neat little place with everything we needed. Very spacious. I would definitely stay there again if we came back to the area.
We loved this apartment! It was the perfect location for our travel to numerous distilleries and horse farms! The apartment was large and having an additional 1/2 bath helped us get ready quickly in the mornings. The kitchen was the perfect size and great for breakfast and coffee every morning! At night we walked the town (beautiful, safe, & friendly) and could go for ice cream or a bourbon at the close by spots. Our hosts was amazing - quick answers, kind, & very helpful! We highly recommend this apartment! Weâll be back for our yearly KY visit!Your NC guests
So much enjoyed my 4 night stay. Very walkable area with great restaurants and watering holes. Super clean and well appointed!! This is my 2nd stay at this exact property and will definitely seek it out every time I visit!!
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The location is awesome. Walking distance to coffee, restaurants, bars and historic downtown Frankfort. Cozy one bedroom with enough rough room to sleep four. Really a great stay!

Property is in a great location. Has everything you need and more. Very clean and adorable historic charm with all the modern amenities. Owners are very accommodating and responsive. We will be back!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The place is very clean and well equipped. The bed is soooo comfy! Lots of steps, which seemed intimidating at first, but good for the leg muscles. We walked to several bars, stores, and restaurants. Short drive to Buffalo Trace and Castle & Key distilleries. Highly recommend both. The host was informative and hospitable. Hope to visit again someday.
Perfectly appointed apartment. Right in the heart of downtown. Will definitely stay again. Words cannot describe the beauty and comfort this apartment provides.
Caveat: Depending on what's happening in town, you may need earplugs.
My husband and I stayed here while exploring the area for the first time and visiting distilleries along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. We could get everywhere we wanted to go in an hour or less, so it is a very central location. The apartment itself is exactly as described. The only slight bummer is that there can be quite a bit of street noise, but Iâm a light sleeper and was able to tone that down by playing some wave sounds on my phone. There were plenty of little restaurants, cafes, bars in walking distance. Itâs a very cute place to walk. The best breakfast we found was at the local, quirky coffee house. We would stay here again!
