Relax with the family or your best girlfriends at this comfortable, fully furnished home. The house is on a corner lot in a quiet neighborhood where city meets country. The newly renovated main level boasts a bright kitchen with all the things one needs to prepare meals in a functional, well stocked space that has vast butcher block countertops. The 3 bedrooms each bear the theme of local landscape.......Woodland, Farmland & Island. Choose to sleep in the space that makes you most happy.
The home is surrounded by adolescent cedars among other firs and evergreens. Every window looks out onto trees, bushes or flowers. It is very private for being part of a neighborhood.
a 40 acre city park is a 15 minute walk along a municipal trail system that is used by walkers, bikers, joggers and wagons alike.

Loved the place!

Everything about the house was over the top clean, and had all the comforts of home. When we’re back to Mount Vernon we will definitely book this house.

Weekend in Town

Getting our floors redone and needed a nearby refuge. Kiddos loved their stay here and the decorated rooms. Host was very easy to communicate with and very welcoming.

Cozy home near town

This was a great spot for us to stay over the thanksgiving holiday. We were visiting family so didn’t need to cook, but the kitchen was well stocked (and labeled!) which was appreciated. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for all of us.

Super cute, great location!

The house was just perfect! We stayed for a long weekend while in town visiting friends for a wedding! Our friends who stayed with us got engaged while here so it was a very exciting trip! The house was located very close to the venue and just close to town in general which was ideal and perfect! Beds were comfy and everything was very clean! The kitchen is laid out very nicely and we enjoyed having an open living space downstairs where we could socialize! The neighborhood was very quiet and seemed very safe as well! Thank you for the stay!

We came to visit our son and this home allowed us to have the family together during the visit. Comfortable and nicely updated. A coffee station that was perfect for the coffee lover.

Christmas in Mount Vernon

This property was cozy and comfortable; it felt like home. It was perfect for our family and our dog. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need. We really appreciated the adorable Christmas decorations since we were away from home during Christmas. The home was clean, the beds and furniture were comfortable, and the set up and decor were lovely. We spent an amazing week with our family in the area!

Lovely Weekend Stay

Wow! We were so impressed with this property. The whole house was pristine when we arrived, and filled with comfortable furniture and spotless appliances. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the house: awesome coffee/tea bar, tv's in every bedroom, shampoo and body wash dispensers in the showers. And we were so close to restaurants, shopping and gas. Would absolutely stay here again when I am in the area.

Great home in Mt Vernon

We were in town for a memorial service and this home was a lovely spot to stay and for family to gather and spend time together. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of serving ware, cooking ware and spices . It was one of the best equipped rental kitchens that we’ve stayed in. The appliances were all new and worked perfectly. The coffee & tea bar was awesome, too. Well thought through and stocked. The living space was comfortable and functional. The master bed was very comfortable and the linens were fabulous! Overall, I highly recommend this home and would stay again. The location was central and the neighborhood was quiet. I gave a 4 star to the listing description because a hot tub was listed on the property and there wasn’t one. Not a big deal to us, just something to note. Thanks for a fabulous stay!

I love this neighborhood because it is peaceful and cared for. There is a diversity of residents and everything is at our fingertips.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

I curated this space from an empty, neglected space to an inviting, comfortable home. My partner and I did the work ourselves with an occasional helper. I will be managing the property in all aspects myself rather than hiring out the management, maintenance, and cleaning. This gives a unique opportunity for everything to be well cared for.
