The cabin is exactly as itâs shown in the description. Everything was clean and the cabin well appointed. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. There were plenty of pillows and blankets. The cabin was quiet at night. Very restful. The owners were friendly and available if needed. There is plenty to do in the area and lots of places for dining.
The cottage is amazing! Like many others, we saw many deer on our way in. It was Valentine's Day weekend, and the hosts had incorporated tasteful decor throughout the space. It was just perfect. We enjoyed playing one of the games in the cabin and sitting by the fireplace. We loved the cabin's cool vintage decor and furniture pieces, as well as the different small spaces to relax.
What a cozy place to stay! The best part was in the morning when you can see the beautiful morning sky from the bed in the loft, the sun eloquently shining in through the windows and the deer frolicking in the yard. Comfy beds and plenty of lighting, would love to stay again.
The River Cottage is very charming, cozy, and well-stocked with all the essentials. The host is quick to respond to inquiries. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay!
It was a very nice cozy cottage. for the most part, quiet and peaceful, which made it wonderful for relaxing!!! it was fun seeing the deer and turkeys. Also some very good restaurants not far from the cottage.which made it really convenient.
I want to thank the owner for a very enjoyable place to rest and get a little peace before we continued our journey. Your cottage is beautiful, cozy and fully stocked with anything a person could need. Thank you so much!
It was super clean and the layout was very nice but the shower area was very tight and I missed not having a kitchen sink. The owner seemed very friendly and helpful.
The stone cottage is an incredibly charming and interesting structure, and we had a delightful stay. Do note that it does not have a full kitchen -- though we made out just fine with the coffee maker, toaster, fridge, and microwave that are provided.
We are Danny and Whitney Zebec. We moved to Port Deposit about a year ago. We were looking for nature & acreage. We are a blended family, and we have five children total. Our oldest is 31 and our youngest is 8. We have two grand babies on the way. We have an English bulldog; her name is Yeti. You will see her when you come to stay. The River Cottage is on the property, and it offers a lovely view with plenty of peace and serenity and nature. We hope you will enjoy your stay, and we look forward to hosting you.
