As evening settles in, light a fire, enjoy a sauna session, and listen to the creek flow by beneath a canopy of stars. And if a summer rain shower rolls through, there's no better place to be than the covered deck, listening to raindrops tap the metal roof while the creek swells and the forest comes alive around you.
THINGS TO KNOW:
- Sauna use is at your own risk. Follow all safety guidelines.
- Bring along some firewood or charcoal if you wish to use those amenities.
- The cabin is equipped with a mini-split heating and cooling system in the bedroom, providing a comfortable sleeping environment year-round. While some cooled air reaches the living area, the bedroom is the primary climate-controlled space, and the main living space may feel a bit warmer during the hottest part of the day, especially upon arrival. Mountain evenings typically cool off nicely, and many guests enjoy opening the windows to let in the fresh mountain air for a comfortable and relaxing cabin experience. For cooler weather and chilly evenings, a heater in the living room keeps the common area comfortable as temperatures drop.
- The creek has a steep grade to get down to so it’s recommended to view from the decks/yard. Enter at your own risk.
- The driveway is gravel and runs parallel to the road. Some may think nothing of it but if you're not used to rural roads you may want to arrive in daylight to acclimate.
- There is a second cabin on the property. It is a separate space with a carport and large pine tree in between.
GUEST ACCESS:
The entire home is available for your use other than a locked owners closet located in the bathroom as well as a storage shed and closet outside. They will not be accessed during your stay and will remain locked.
OUTDOOR CAMERA: There is an outdoor camera facing the driveway on the side of the home. It is on 24/7 and can record video and sound. Rest assured, private spaces such as the wraparound decks and sauna are not in view.
