Sept comté Deux État Vue du pont! Chalet de montagne bienvenus, tous les conforts de la maison vous attendent. Il a été construit en 2005 avec toutes les commodités modernes. Deux chambres et deux salles de bains sont situées à l'étage principal, une chambre et une salle de bain dans le niveau, jeu et tv zone inférieure dans le niveau inférieur. Idéalement situé à Mayberry / Mt. Airy, Chateau Morrisette et tous les établissements vinicoles, Hillsville Marché aux puces, la Convention de Galax Fiddler, Floyd Fest, Devils Den et tout simplement douce Mère Nature.

Décider de se détendre et profiter de la vue ou de la tête pour le kayak, les tubes, le cyclisme, la randonnée, la pêche, et le golf et bien plus encore. Profitez de marchés, vignerons et le shopping éclectique de l'année agriculteur. Situé miles cinq ans et demi de miles I-77 et trois et demi de l'autoroute 52 au large de Blue Ridge Parkway.

We had a wonderful visit. The weather was beautiful, the views are spectacular and the cabin has a wonderful comfortable and warm feel. We loved the furnishings… a feeling of “home”. We had everything we needed.Again, the cabin is perfect and was a great getaway. We will definitely there again.

This is our 4th visit to this property and we continue to be charmed by its comfortable furnishings and spectacular views. The main expectation was the long range view and it was beyond expectations! Loved sitting on the large deck and taking it all in. Plus being able to bring our lab. We golfed at Old Mille and wine tasted at various Vineyards. Very wonderful stay and hope to come back next year. Kitchen well equipped, we brought most of our food.

Great Getaway

The house is well off of the main roads but easy to access from I-77. The layout was perfect for us. The covered porch and the views were awesome.

Well kept cabin. At the end of the drive and usually very quiet. Best thing is the wonderful porch and the spectacular view! Our only complaint is that the mattress in the bedroom on the porch side of the house is a little worn out. The other upstairs mattress was fine,

Very nice place to stay . The Cabin is beautiful and fully equipped. We have stayed here numerous times and will continue to . The veiw is Gorgeous. Karen is a Great host . I highly recommend this place .

Perfect Cabin

This was our fifth stay at the cabin. Spectacular view, clean, comfortable and convenient to Fancy Gap, Mt. Airy, Hillsville, Galax and Wytheville. A great place to stay and Karen is a great hostess! We will return next year!

Amazing View!

The property was as advertised, but the pictures of the view didn’t do it justice. It’s amazing! Proximity to Mt. Airy, NC was great! We enjoyed the town and restaurants!

Wonderful home and quiet, beautiful setting!

We simply love visiting this beautiful, clean, inviting home. Karen is an amazing host and is very helpful! We love all the hummingbirds, blue birds, deer and beautiful views of the mountains from the porch! We will be back!

Mom's Family Visit

My Mom is from Galax Va so we took her back for a visit. The cabin is in Fancy Gap which is close to Galax so she could see Family and Friends. The place was Beautiful and had everything we needed. Highly recommend this if you are looking for a Nice getaway with Beautiful views.

Outstanding location

We spoke with the owner due to the Hurricane Helene. She stated she was in contact power company and was hoping for the power to be on. We arrived and with luck it was. The place was great, location, size of the home, and the view. We were able to locate a food store not knowing if the items in the refrigerator were still good. We saw some sites and went to a few of the stores that did have power. We would recommend this location one of the best we have been at in the past 7 years. Thank you so much we had a blast.

Right on TIME!

My long weekend trip was so RIGHT ON TIME!! Our business has been shut down due to COVID-19 and things were becoming so boring having to stay in. This trip was planned and paid for after Jan. and I'm so glad I kept my plans. This property and location are perfect for quiet and relaxation!!

Beautiful home

We moved our family "bubble" to the mountains for a long weekend. The house is beautiful and was very, very clean. Lots of fun games and a well-equipped kitchen for cooking. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate so I cannot fully review the views from the lovely porch. However, the house was perfect for relaxing and reading a book by the fire.

Beautiful Mountain View

We booked a getaway trip with another couple, where we were able to bring out pups. The cabin was wonderful and accommodating. The pictures do not to this home justice. Our favorite part was the porch. Even better than it was gated so the pups couldn't roam out and about. Karen was commutative and tentative, a wonderful host. She checked in to make sure we arrived safely which was just an added sweet touch to this home. I'd love to visit this home again.

Great view and adequately equipped

Our family of four and our small dog enjoyed our long weekend away from home (Indiana). Nice view of the valley below and mountains beyond from the wrap around porch with large rope hammock. The kitchen was equipped with pleny of dishes and utensils as well as appliances large and small. It was a good location to allow us to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, visit New River State Park for a hike, and spend some time in Mayberry (Mount Airy, NC). We didn't use the basement much because it was colder and the air hockey table had seen better days. We were a little bit surprised at the dresser drawers being mostly filled with linens or decorations such that they were not usable during our stay but that is minor. There were a lot of picture frames and other decorations taking up space on the top of furniture too that prevented those from being usable space, but again that is minor. We booked at fairly short notice and luxury was not a priority but I did notice that there was pet hair remaining on the sofa and floor when we arrived. Knowing that it is a pet friendly rental, that was not a total surprise. It was different for us to find the refrigerator and cabinet to contain some food items that were indicated available for use. I tend to be overly worried about using some else's partially used food items but there were some sealed containers that we took advantage of and we left a few things for the next renters. We have stayed at more luxurious accommodations before but this was adequate for a long weekend with our family and our Yorkie-Poo.

My husband and I reside in Greensboro NC, a short 1.5 hrs away. We use the cabin as often as possible but also love to share it with others. For several years I was a mortgage officer and afterwards a Realtor in Fancy Gap. I came to Carroll County for a day and hope to be there for a lifetime. We love the yard , the porch and the view along with the close proximity to so many festivals, history and events

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The view is worth a million dollars.This was an excellent investment and the temperature is always at least ten degrees below any place else within miles. Our home is with-in an 1.5 hrs drive. We are only five miles down the Parkway from Hwy. 52. and convenient to Hwy. 77. Just read our over 100 5.0 reviews.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

No road noise and peaceful breathtaking views. I've also enjoyed the wildlife; everything from wild turkeys to deer. And the wild flowers and vegetation are like nowhere else. Southern exposure provides a quick melt for the snow along with being off of the school bus route, providing year round pleasure.
