Elizabeth was a perfect host with a perfect home. I needed a house last minute to accommodate family coming into town to celebrate my sons christening and found somewhere we could all sleep, eat and enjoy each others company comfortably.Every question I had was answered in a timely manner. The house looks even better in person. As a new mommy i appreciated the sound machine in one of the bedrooms and the high chair and bathtub that was also available for us to use. There were about 8 of us and the house is spacious enough for us to not be on top of each other. Iâd stay here again for sure and plan on recommending the listing to all who will listen lol. Thanks so much Elizabeth!
The home was just as beautiful as it appeared in the pictures, and the interior design was truly impressive. It was evident that the owners put a lot of effort into maintaining it. There was a helpful welcome guide with suggested activities for each month and a set of house rules. One of the rules indicated that quiet hours started at 10 pm, but unfortunately, the family living on the second floor did not adhere to this rule. They had two young children who were often quite noisy late at night (after 1 am) and early in the morning (7 am).
In addition, we found the freezer to require cleaning, with old ice and what seemed to be a paper towel stuck to it. As a result, we had to purchase a bag of ice for our stay. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this home may not be the best option for you because of the young children on the second floor.
Despite the family upstairs and the freezer, I would book again due to the convenience of the location.
I want to clarify that my intention in sharing this feedback is not to criticize the owner or their property, but rather to provide an honest account of my experience.
