This 1930's brick Cape Cod is conveniently situated on Rugby Road, offering a seamless blend of historic charm and modern convenience. Thoughtfully renovated and professionally designed, Rugby Retreat is a true gem that boasts proximity to both UVA Grounds and downtown Charlottesville. Whether you are a family in town visiting your student, alumni headed to a football game or guests attending a wedding - Rugby Retreat is perfect for your next visit to UVA and Charlottesville.
Inside, you'll find high ceilings, elegant arched doorways, and expansive windows that fill each room with abundant natural light. The private backyard and spacious front yard further enhance the appeal of this property, providing ample space for relaxation and outdoor activities. This house features three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms.
On the first floor is a newly renovated kitchen, traditional dining room, large living room, and sunroom with a TV.
The second floor offers a primary king bed with en-suite bath and 2 queen bedrooms that share a bathroom.
On the 3rd floor is a private loft area with a TV and a desk, perfect for lounging or a quiet workspace. (please note the stairs are narrow and ceilings are low in the loft area).
The backyard offers a large patio area with outdoor seating and a gazebo attached to a covered patio with a day bed - perfect for an afternoon read or an evening glass of wine with friends and family.
Parking: there is off-street parking provided on the driveway, enough for 3 vehicles. The driveway is railroad style i.e. other cars must move for the 1st car to get out. Pulling in and out of the property is a bit tight due to stone walls on either side of the entrance.

Outside of said hours Guest agrees only the Max Occupancy will be present at the property. Violation of this policy can result in immediate eviction of Guest with no refund.
- Maximum of 3 cars permitted on the property
