We loved staying here. Great, convenient location; an absolutely amazing view of the harbor; a bright, cozy, clean, and comfortable condo. Owner was great and check in easy. We would absolutely book this property again.
We loved our stay at this property! The location and views couldnât be beat, and it was well equipped with everything we needed. Host was extremely quick to respond, and the check in process was super easy. What a great trip!
The apartment is beautiful--loved the light filled living room and desk overlooking the harbor. Kitchen was well supplied; bed was comfortable. Great neighborhood.
My partner is a stroke survivor and sadly, she had trouble navigating the steep, dark stairway. The bathtub was a real problem for her--it was difficult for her to get in and out of it.
We loved the location of this rental. It was a few minutes walk to the best restaurants and convenient for strolling down Commercial. Despite its location, it was perfectly silent for sleeping. We would stay again.
We had a wonderful experience! The perfect size and location for me and my husband. Elisabeth was very responsive and made our stay easy and comfortable. I recommend the stay.
This is the fourth or fifth time we've stayed here. The location is fantastic and the views are unbelievable. It's always an easy check in check out process. We will be back for sure!
We have stayed two times. The location is great -within walking distance to anything you'd need. The view is everything. We stayed once in February and, even on days when it rained or snowed, the view was magical and made it feel like a vacation.
Communication about logistics plus additional suggestions for restaurants, entertainment, etc. ahead of our stay were very helpful. Check-in process was seamless. Place was great; quaint, very clean, had everything we needed, gorgeous view, and perfectly central to P'town happenings.
The condo was a cozy, romantic place with all the amenities. The kitchen was adequate where we cooked breakfast, the rooms were cute. Parking was only a few minutes away which was nice. The condo is in the middle of Provincetown and we walked everywhere. We walked to all of our restaurants. The overview was beautiful. We spent the night on the terrace watching an orange full moon rise which was wonderful over the bay. The host was always available. We would recommend booking your vacation at the condo site. We will remember our stay forever. We will book again in the future.
Comfortable accommodations located in the heart of downtown Provincetown. Don't let that scare you, facing the water and sun with a deck. It was peaceful and we got a good night sleep with the windows open and the breeze.
All the basics to cook if you choose.
Even cable TV if you have a rainy day or just needed to stay in.
Provincetown never disappoints. The location of the unit was very convenient!!
There was a minor problem with the key which was addressed promptly. My daughter & I had had an amazing weekend. The view from the unit is awesome!!!!!
The view is great and the location amazing! Another reviewer said it was bright which makes sense with all the windows and recommended an eye mask. I got one in the travel section at CVS and had no trouble sleeping until I woke up. The property is a little older, but clean and tidy. I love the Harbor Lounge just outside. Itâs a perfect place for cocktails and to watch the sunset. Thanks for a great stay!
We stayed at the condo during July of 2018 and found it to be one of the most charming, beautiful places we've ever stayed. The view is stunning - you can see the fishing boats, dolphin watching fleet, and fast ferry from Boston. The moon was almost full at night over the harbor. Elisabeth was extremely helpful and kind. We will return!
We loved everything about it! And would rent it again. Mrs. Moes was so kind to me on our few phone calls and helped us get onto the WiFi. Situated in the best place possible. Parking was no problem for us. My sister, Lisa and I didn't want to leave!
Thank you so much and thank you Mrs. Moes. I hope we left the condo in good order!?
What a great little place to snuggle, sit on the porch, have some wine with lunch..... Very clean and cozy in the heart of Provincetown. You don't need to go far to find a great restaurant, ride your bicycles, sit on the beach, fish from the pier, or just relax. Only one problem, we weren't there long enough! Don't miss the Truro Winery where they have wine tasting and you can purchase your favorite choice of wines. Everything was perfect! Lis, the owner, was extremely helpful. Will surely return again.
Needs a lot of work! The location of this place is great if you like being in the action of Commercial street. You walk right out into all the shops! The water is a little visible over rooftops. As the weekend went on we noticed more and more. Curtain broken off the bathroom leaving nothing on the window. Small mirror in the bathroom that had fallen off the nail and fell on me twice. Our towels were of nice quality but heavily stained and dingy smelling. There was more toothpaste splatters on the wall in the bathroom than Iâve ever seen in my life. A rusty stool in the bathroom. The upholstered chairs at the dining table were moldy and stained. I dropped something behind the couch and when pulling it out saw a bunch of trash and used masks etc. There was a big leak stain in the living room ceiling. The only AC in this unit is an old loud window unit in the bedroom. Although our sheets looked newer the blankets were really bad. I messaged all of this to the owner with pictures our last day and she never replied. She was slow to reply with other concerns as well. The list goes on! I hate to write a review like this as I never have. I just honestly feel that this place needs a big revamping and cleaning before renting out anymore.
A great apartment with a great location right in center of town. Looks just like the photos with great harbor views. We had a great time checking out all the galleries, restaurants, shops and pier. Everything in easy walking distance. Definitely recommend it.
This is an older condo in a great location, steps off Commercial Street. There are great views of the harbor, as advertised, but there a few things I wished I had known before renting. (1) The unit is accessed via a very narrow and steep set to stairs. Anyone with mobility issues will find these stairs challenging. (2) We arrived during a heat wave, and the single A/C unit in the bedroom could barely keep up. The A/C unit was visibly covered was grime - inside and out - and I wasn't thrilled that this was blowing out nearly 24/7. It was so noisy that we couldn't sleep with it on - so we used a fan to point directly at the bed a night. (3) The toilet in the bathroom was so close to the window that one needs to sit at a 45 degree angle. (4) There was no window covering in the bathroom, and although it's unlikely that someone could see in, it was very uncomfortable - particularly at night - to be sitting on the toilet in front of the large window. We purchased a plastic table cloth from the hardware store and taped it to the window for privacy. (5) Due to the age of the building, some of the floors are not level - particularly noticeable in the kitchen. (6) There is a very popular bar - the Harbor Lounge - behind the condo on the bay. So there are people walking underneath your windows until bar closing which is 11:30pm.
We are a lesbian couple with an adopted daughter from Guatemala. One of us (Lis) is originally from the Netherlands and the other (Carmen) is originally Cuban/Mexican; we have been living in the U.S. for many years now and we are U.S. citizens. We are both professors at universities in Boston, as well as clinicians. We bought the unit before we adopted our daughter as a getaway near Boston for ourselves and our dogs (unfortunately, condo rules prohibit pets other than those belonging to the owners), and continue to spend Thanksgiving there every year with a bunch of friends who travel in from other states for the occasion. With a young child we have connected with a number of Provincetown families and discovered more activities, including bicycling around, sailing at the West End Race Club, horse riding in nearby Truro, and the weekly music evenings in summer at the new beach station at Herring Cove with bonfires. Hanging out with friends in the afternoon at the Harbor Lounge or Provincetown Inn swimming pools (shuttle available) is another thing we've come to enjoy.
Living in Boston, we fell in love with this place when we were looking for a cozy, gay-friendly place where we could take our dogs for summers, long weekend getaways in the fall, and snowy winter breaks. The views out the windows and from the deck are simply spectacular! We love the convenience of being steps away from everything. The town beach is in front of you, and you can take long walks morning and evening. Walk out the door and you are on Commercial Street and in the midst of everything, with the library across the road. Take a right out the door and in minutes you are in the midst of the galleries in the East End, and nothing beats the fun of strolling down Commercial on a Friday evening and dropping in for gallery openings with wine and cheese and a chance to chat with the artists! Or take a left and you can people watch in front of the Town Hall, shop downtown,go dancing at one of the clubs, or grab a bite at one of the wonderful cafes and restaurants. You can walk to the West End, take a bike or bus to the dunes or the Provincetown Inn pool, or check out the other nearby beaches. Never a lack of things to do!
Waking up in the morning and glimpsing the sunny water from bed is a wonderful experience, and dinner looking out over the harbor lights is very romantic. Have drinks on the deck, and people watch from your private nook above the courtyard. The apartment combines both privacy and convenience. Just about everything is no more than a short walk away. The unit is a single flight of steps up from street level and in the back of the building facing the water, so noise is minimal and there is a real sense of privacy in being 'above it all'. There is wonderful old clawfoot tub to soak in, and an electric fireplace and cable TV.
