Cette maison traditionnelle admirablement construit se trouve sur une propriété aux allures de parc magnifiquement paysagé. Shell House est votre passerelle vers la pêche de classe mondiale, tentaculaire vignobles et villages pittoresques animées avec de charmantes boutiques. Avec une atmosphère de vacances, Shell House offre un cadre de plage isolée, plus de 5000 pieds carrés, ayant 8 chambres et 6 salles de bains. Notre état de la salle de récréation de l'art bénéficie de billard, table de ping-pong, air hockey, jeux de fléchettes électroniques, table d'échecs, de dames et de tables de baby-foot. Chaque chambre a un 42 "TV à écran plasma, décodeur câble séparé avec chaînes thématiques et un lecteur DVD. Le lecteur de CD et un système d'enceintes pour iPod complètent ce résidences richesse de l'électronique. Fantastic vacation home!!!!

Beautiful home that was perfect for our family vacation!!!! Very spacious interior of house was perfect giving our large family ,with grandchildren ,much needed space. The outdoor kitchen and pool was amazing!!!!! We are enjoyed our stay tremendously!!!!!!

Great spot for a large group vacation

Our group - five families, all with children - LOVED this home. We enjoyed lots of swimming in the beautiful heated pool with slide, as well as relaxation poolside on the large patio and in the hot-tub. The home has plenty of space to stretch out in, and is located in close proximity to beaches, stores, and other amenities. Thank you for a wonderful vacation and lots of great memories!

July 4 family gathering

We had a great time at the Shell House especially our grandchildren . They are in the pool , the water slide is great . The hot tub is on all day . TVs in every room . Plenty of bath towels . The place is well kept . We are thinking of pre-booking the other house in next summer.

Amazing property for large group!

Can't say enough good things about this property! We were here for a bachelorette party (19 people) and the house absolutely exceeded our expectations! There was plenty of room for everyone and we had such a great stay! The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of closet and drawer space for clothes. The house was maintained in great condition and we found it was even nicer than it looked in the pictures (which was hard to believe because the pictures looked great). This was our group's 2nd time renting a property from Hampton House properties and we would definitely do it again!

Amazing property, location, management! Will be back!

Just as described and in reviews - the property is spotless, is much bigger and more updated than in the pictures! The management went above and beyond from a personal welcome and a welcome basket, to being incredibly responsive with any of our questions. Thank you Michelle!!! The pool is huge with a slide - hours of fun for all! Hot tub as a cherry on top. Full game room with anything your heart desires. Fully equipped kitchen inside with a huge table that accommodated our large group. Room to spread out, tons of bathrooms and entertainment. We loved our location - minutes to a great supermarket, 10 by car minutes to ocean beaches, 3 minutes by car or a nice 10 min walk to bay beach, parking at the bay beach free before 9 am. Close to other towns, shops, museums, wineries, which we hit up during the week. The house provided a ton of privacy. We had a great time with three generations of family and will be back!

AMAZING Stay at Shellhouse!!!

We had an amazing stay at Shellhouse. The pool was the perfect temperature allowing for hours of pool basketball. We also enjoyed the hot tub, hung out on the patio, lounged in the hammock. At night we cooked a nice dinner and played ping pong and pool in the game room. The house came fully equipped with TV and cable with plenty of places to play music. THIS HOUSE IS SPACIOUS. Can sleep well over 15 people (probably closer to 20) with multiple large beds in each room. Lot's of privacy. Truly is the perfect setup for hosting large groups with all the amenities you can ever need to enjoy the Hamptons in comfort. The house is located very close to town (5 minute drive) - where you'll find everything you'll ever need (food, shopping, etc.). The owners run a great operation and give you all the information you need and overall are very easy to work with and most of all are very nice!!! Shell house is awesome!!! Highly highly recommended!

We were a group of 15 (7 adults and 8 children) ranging in age from 9-16, and 2 dogs. Overall, we had a great stay! We loved the pool, hot tub, and the slide for the pool. They were ready for use when we arrived, and the kids were in the heated pool within an hour! There were enough bedrooms for all of us and seating in the dining room for us all to eat together. Great outdoor tables and several new umbrellas.Great location. Private, mostly fenced backyard (2 small areas where the dogs could get out), and only 10 minutes to beautiful Ponquogue Beach. The backyard had areas of shade, but the pool was still in full sun and kids spent hours in it. The backyard felt very private with hedges and trees from neighbors.Challenges: 1. Beds: Some beds were full (not queen as listed). King Bed was 2 twins pushed together with mattresses of unequal height.2. Kitchen Storage: Very limited storage for food items as all the kitchen cabinets were full of dishes, mugs, glasses (much more than could be used by a group of 15)3. General Maintenance: Several things seemed not to be upkept: examples: water line to slide for pool was broken, railing into pool was wobbly, leaking sprayer for upstairs kitchen sink…4. Many outside chairs needed cushions, but the game room where the cushions were stored seemed musty.Of Note: The owners were very responsive when we had an issue with the smoke/fire alarms going off starting at 5 am. She responded promptly to our problem.

What a blast !

Wow! Did we have a blast ! This home is everything they claim it to be. Our large family (parents, grown kids & grandchildren) were thrilled to be able to all be under one roof. With 14 adults and children ages ranging from 10 months right on up, there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The accommodations are exactly as pictured, no skimping on anything. The whole family gathered around the pool and deck area every night to swap stories on each other's adventures that day. Both the bay and ocean beaches are literally minutes away. Some went out to Montauk for the afternoon, some took little ones to LI Game Farm, some hit the outlets in Riverhead, wineries, fishing, and couples took turns going out to local restaurants in Hampton Bays and Southhampton. We made good use of the local farm stands and fresh seafood markets in the area. Town is not even a 5 minute drive so you have easy access to supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants etc.. It's all there ! Marilyn and Michele could not be more accommodating. Any problems (we had none) or questions (we had a couple) were handled immediately with one phone call. Thank you ladies for helping us make such a wonderful memory. We ALL will be recommending your beautiful home to our friends. Here's to doing it all again !!!

Pics do not represent the property -big disappointment

Pool and hot tub were littered with bugs and dirt upon arrival. Pool guy shocked the pool and kids could not swim for 3 hours. All 6 kids and 2 adults got ear infections starting on day 4, they were the only ones that went underwater in the pool. House not maintained well, broken pool chairs. 12” weeds drowning in gutters. Weeds around perimeter of house and property. Mosquitoes very bad even during the day. Everyone had bites especially the kids even with repellent. Microwave above stove not working bc flame was so high on the stove the microwave was melted and the door would not close. Could only use 2 burners. Sunken pavers pose a safety risk. Discovered on 5th day no smoke detectors on 1st level. Owner did respond quickly but should be part of a checklist before new clients arrive. House did not feel clean although strong pinesol smell at arrival. Mattresses not comfortable and some sheets are very thin. Pics are very old the trees in the back are now very big can’t even see house behind. No slide at the pool in pics, the slide is at least 10 years old it’s faded from years in the sun. Strong damp smell in game room due to old deflated rafts and enormous amount of chair cushions and old boxes. Located on a loud busy road. Vrbo needs to react, no one else should have this experience.

HI Lisa. I resent trying to be extorted. You were looking to get money back and threaten to “involve VRBO” if I didnt pay up. That is against VRBO rules. We received 5, five star reviews this year including the guests just before you. How is it possible that weeds would grow 12” between the time the last guest left and. 5 hours later you moved in. Thank you for your email. I spent time with you during your stay and you never once mentioned any ear infections or any other issues other than the missing smoke alarms which we immediately corrected and the stove light which was higher than normal (and did not charge for melted microwave) and we had called a repair service but none were available for three weeks. I did mention this to you. The pavers were repaired prior to your arrival. Happy to provide pictures. You mentioned there was a “funky” smell in the game room and upon checking did not find such But did find a huge mess with pillows thrown all over the floor and game tables moved. Happy to provide pictures. I dont believe that pictures showing grown trees misrepresents a home. I would think that is an advantage giving you more privacy.i have never ever had a guest request to see a neighboring home. Not sure why the pavers would have moved again unless perhaps misused. Why would anyone walk on them if they were hazardous. Lisa i am not looking to argue with you. As you saw I extended your check out by 6 hours without additional charge. I offered you a 10% discount for a future stay good for two years. Our pool company will immediately offer a shock treatment whether needed or not upon complaint by a guest. Please provide paid bills for doctor visits due to ear infections. I am happy to review and remedy upon proof of same. Happy to address your concerns. Btw vrbo is now aware of this situation as we are communicating thru their portal. TOO DATE I HAVE RECEIVED NO DOCUMENTATION THAT OUR POOL CAUSED ANY EAR INFECTIONS.regards Marilyn

Amazing family vacation!

Spent 2 weeks in this Hampton Bays house with family coming and going (average of 12 adults and 4 kids at anytime). Favorite spots clearly the pool, hot tub, and game room. Kitchen well stocked and large area connecting dining area to living room kept family engaged together. Porch in front and back constantly used as well, especially in morning. Went to Coopers Beach, Canal Cafe, Sag Harbor and a few outdoor restaurants- Favorite was Clarissa! Went back a second time! Would absolutely go back!

Fabulous site for a fabulous family vacation!

My extended family, spanning 4 generations, just spent one week in our third consecutive summer (plus one Thanksgiving) in one of Marilyn's gorgeous homes. This time we were at Shell House and there isn't a better place for a family reunion. It's a huge, well appointed home with a gorgeous pool and huge game room. Everything is in good working order, but if the tiniest thing goes wrong, Marilyn and her staff get right on it! We have already paid our deposit for next summer because we know a great thing when we see it!

Great for our big family

Where to stay to attend a wedding and extend into a vacation for a family of 11 adults and 4 kids? This house was just right, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, but the best features were the pool and hot tub, with lots of outdoor furniture. The property was clean and well maintained. The game room equipment is old, but it was a huge hit with the grand kids. The owner responds immediately to a problem. The outdoor grill did not work properly, so she brought a new one. The location was great, attractions are near by, we fished in Montauk, went to the aquarium, and golfed. Close to beaches, but we had so much fun in the pool, never went to one. Lots of restaurants in the area, but we never went out, too much fun cooking and barbequing. A good value compared to other homes and hotels.

VERY POSITIVE

The photos are an accurate presentation of the house and pool, hottub, volleyball net and game room. There were plenty of chairs and lounges. The property is well maintained. The owner / rep was readily available for quick resolution of any issues but we had no issues. We were 15 people (2 families) ranging in age from 2 years up to 70. Everyone had comfortable beds, and privacy. The house is well maintained in a quiet, private setting. Easy access to the two main beaches and a good variety of restaurants. Rumbar and Cowfish restaurants and grocery shopping and stores are close by in town. Would gladly recommend this a friend or relative and highly recommend it to a large group. Marilyn is a very pleasant person who runs a smoooth professional operation and I would rent this house again.... if i can coordinate with all the famiy and rigorous diverse schedules.

The PERFECT Hamptons Vacation!!

Our stay was nothing short of perfection. We had a group of 15 in town for a charity event. We arrived on Friday evening exhausted from a day of bike riding and fundraising - the heated pool and spacious hot tub did wonders for us to say the least. The house had plenty of room and we all slept comfortably throughout our stay. That same day we had a few guests traveling from NYC via train and were delighted to find our house was just a short walk from the Hampton Bays train station and town. For meals, we were thrilled with the convenience of our rental being located in the heart of Hampton Bays - picking up bagels for breakfast, utilizing the grill for lunch, and ordering Francesca's for dinner (highly recommended). Our group thoroughly enjoyed the game rooms and TVs, which provided endless entertainment when not relaxing in the backyard and pool. In the evenings, we were able to hop in a quick 10 minute cab ride to Beach Bar (highly recommended, esp. for 21 - 35 crowd). We utilized the kitchen to cook a full breakfast for 15, and clean it up with ease. We had everything we needed. The house was missing and lacking nothing. We received it spotless, and it truly felt like a home and not a rental for the entirety of our stay. I highly recommend Shell House for anyone looking to stay in Hampton Bays. Marilyn and team were incredibly professional and responsive throughout. We look forward to renting for years to come!

SUPER SHELL HOUSE

Tenant: Ellen Grey Stay: 7/1-15, 2015 5 STARS I cannot even begin to write what I loved most about this house. My family and I loved everything from the size of the house to the size of the outdoor living area. We used the volleyball area quite a lot during our stay. The game room was the best I had ever seen at any vacation rental. Between the media room and the living room, we had a huge amount of common space for every member of our extended family who either stayed or visited with us during our vacation. The minor problem we had upon our arrival was resolved within an hour when Marilyn's trades people were at the house and took care of it: We just couldn't figure out how to get the televisions in two of the bedrooms to work. It turned out that we didn’t have the correct input source. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our two-week stay. This house offered a lot and was perfect for my large family. The biggest plus was that it had enough bedrooms and bathrooms to comfortably accommodate my very large family. I would definitely recommend this vacation house.

Beautiful Space, Beautiful Home

We rented this home for a month, and it was great. My family and I loved the spaciousness of the house. It is big enough that every family member had their own space, and their favorite part of the house. Since I am the chef in the family, of course my favorite room was the kitchen. It had everything I needed. It is fully loaded with dishes, pots, pans and silverware. There is enough of everything to feed a large family and even took care of a few unexpected guests. The kids hung out a lot in the game room. It’s a pretty amazing room, stocked with everything except computers. It had practically everything and anything you would want in a game room complete from air hockey, foosball, ping pong, billiards, card table, electronic darts, chess table, checkers table, backgammon and tons of other games. My wife spent the month in the hot tub. To be honest, the whole family really enjoyed the huge backyard and the beautiful heated pool and hot tub. Not every vacation home gets top marks, but this one does. I can honestly say, we look forward to coming back next year. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for an exceptional vacation.

GIRLFRIENDS VACATION

My girlfriends and I stayed at this home during the summer of 2015. The house was actually much nicer than the pictures portray. The kitchen was amazing because of how large it is. This house was perfect for what we needed it for. The bedrooms were big as were the bathrooms. I loved that this house offered a movie library because at night we would stay home and watch movies. The location of this house suited us very well. From the house to town it was about a 10 minute walk. I was very happy staying at this house and at the end of my stay I contacted the homeowner expressing interest in renewing for next summer.

Amazing Getaway in The Hamptons

My cousins and I decided that we wanted to do something that we have never done before so we decided to a rent a house in the Hamptons. When we first came across this house it seemed to good to be true. the price seemed way to affordable for such a big house. when we contacted the homeowner about the price she informed me that the price was correct. we decided then that we were going to take the house. when we arrived at the house we were in complete awe. the house was enormous. we were all very happy with out decision to rent this home. we all had a great time.
