Surrounded by wildflowers and sea roses, the House at Table Rock is a perfect place to gather friends and family for the vacation of a lifetime where Island-time is your time. House at Table Rock includes a beautiful expansive living room and dining room designed to marvel at the extraordinary sunrises and sunsets over the open ocean. 2 bedrooms located on the main level (1 new queen sized bed, and 2 new twin beds complete the other bedroom). 1 bedroom on the lower level with new king sized bed, and 2 new queen sized pull out couches in 2 roomy living areas. Updated kitchen appliances and two bathrooms on main level with 1 1/2 bathrooms on lower level. An acre of ocean front property with privacy to enjoy your vacation, House at Table Rock is the perfect place for summer, fall, and winter vacationers.

We offer Weekly Rental and 3 to 4 night stays during certain times of the year, Please inquire accordingly.

The location was ideal. Family had a great time. The house was clean, well equipped. our host. Jen was great with communications and did her best effort to accommodate everything we asked for. Also returned a pair of prescription eyeglasses left behind in error.

Great stay

We had a lovely stay here. The house is very comfortable and very well appointed. Wonderful views of the Atlantic ocean. We are looking forward to a return visit.

Cute place with nice amenities. Friendly and responsive host. Love Peak's Island! Nice relaxing location. Great for walking and biking.

This was a wonderful family vacation. We are six adults and a baby, encompassing three generations, plus a dog. The house is set in a lovely and convenient location, allowing for beautiful walks exploring the island. It is not close to the "downtown" area, and a car was helpful for that, but not being near the downtown area made it a quieter and more peaceful location.The house has nice size areas where we were able to congregate together, including the living room, the dining room, the deck, and the yard, but also lots of places for us to spend time apart as well. The house is rustic and charming, but the kitchen is modern and well furnished. We were also able to take advantage of the grill which is on a second deck next to the dining room. Jen and her husband were extremely responsive, and very helpful. This was a really special vacation for all of us, and extremely relaxing.

You got it all right in your review; it is a dreamy spot with tons of privacy on a very crowded island in Maine during the summers, but what a wonderful Island it is! Best place to stay on Peaks!

We absolutely loved our stay at House at Table Rock. The sun-filled living room and deck with spectacular ocean views was the perfect way to wake up with our morning coffee. Host Jen’s beautiful home is very comfortable with fully equipped kitchen essentials and everything we needed for our island getaway. From the front deck, we watched lobstermen at work, sailboats, and the ferries carrying people from island to Island. This island home is a treasure and we can’t wait to come back next year!

The Best of Coastal Maine

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Peak’s Island over July 4th weekend. The house has a private yard, fantastic views of Casco Bay, and plenty of room. Walking along the ocean, going to the beach, and enjoying the local restaurants was great. Relaxing on the deck with a glass wine or cup of coffee while listening to the ocean and birds was fantastic! In addition, Jen, the owner/manager, was accommodating and transparent. We are looking forward to visiting Peak’s Island again!

There May Be Better Options!!

We were initially very excited to be staying at this rental as it is portrayed as a very nice location, etc and does look very nice in the pictures. The property location itself is great, however, once at the property there are several things that are not that appealing. Some of those items include: The property not being very well maintained, the water situation at the property is very very bad. Although the owner had stated to let the water replenish because it is a well, it almost never replenished for any of our uses. The showers were very very bad, and we could hardly wash a dish. The downstairs has a very strong smell of mold or mildew, it appears to have been remodeled but not very well. There may be some sort of a water issue downstairs causing mold, or perhaps a previous flood or leak....If you are not going to be at the property for much time, it could be a good location. However, if you're spending time with family and plan on cooking at the property, etc. There may be some better options available that are more updated and better taken care of.The owner was a very good communicator, but overall we were not extremely satisfied with the property.

We are sorry you didn’t enjoy our little slice of heaven and are clearly in the minority. As we told you, the guests we had in prior had broken some things that we sent our handyman in to quickly fix. Island life is about a lot of things including flexibility. The pictures of our beautiful home represent exactly what to expect.

Great location, less than great listing accuracy

First, the location was wonderful. Communication with the host was excellent. We were ahead of schedule and allowed to check in a few hours early, which was grestly appreciated. Kitchen was well stocked. Bed sheets and towels were clean. Property was very secluded and quiet. The sounds of ocean waves almost makes up for some of its shortcomings: The week we arrived was hot. This was expected for this time of year. Usually most homes in this area do not have AC. As such, we chose a listing based on criteria that it has air conditioning, mainly because we had a small baby in tow. On the day of check-in, prior to our arrival, the host informed us that we should open the windows to allow the house to cool down. I thought that was strange, since it was listed as having air conditioning. On arrival, the "air conditioner" was actually just a single-hose portable AC unit, hooked up to a broken and duct-taped together pane of lexan, secured to one of the windows. Three box fans were also available. Unfortunately, the home did not have any window coverings (although you could see where curtain rods were originally installed). As a result, the living room acted as a sunroom, with temps in the low to mid 90's inside during our first few days. We spent most of our time outside, to cool down. No window coverings also meant the sunlight was shining directly into the eastern facing room by 5am. Unfortunately, based on our overall experience, we would likely not return.
