This cozy two bedroom mountain getaway is .5 mile from downtown Estes Park, walk to plentiful shopping and a variety of restaurants. You can't beat the location, plus you can bring your dog to join in the fun.
Settle in on a cool evening with the warmth from the wood burning fireplace a bowl of popcorn and a good movie. TV with cable and Wi-Fi are both available for in-house entertainment.
The kitchen is fully equipped for a home cooked meal. Gather around the table for breakfast to plan the events for the day or reconnect with the family over supper at the end of the day.
There is a full size washer and dryer for guests to use. And ""Fido"" will enjoy this dog friendly home with a pet bed in the utility room, and a ""doggy door"" to the outside fenced yard.
You will fall in love with the outside living/deck area where you can soak in the beauty of nature and wildlife. Relax and enjoy an early morning cup of coffee while watching the sunrise on Longs Peak. Enjoy the private hot tub next to the deck.
This cabin is in the perfect location to enjoy all Estes Park has to offer. Whether you are in town for an extended stay, for a family reunion, or just a much needed getaway, you will feel like you belong at O'Deer Cabin.

O'Deer cabin is 3 miles from the Beaver Meadows entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park.

What To Be Aware Of:

No A/C

Firewood not provided, Guest must provide.

Dog must be crated while alone in the home and on a leash while being walked outside.

One dog allowed. Extra charge.

Parking for 2 cars in the driveway. Do NOT park on the street.

No large vehicles, i.e. RVs, trailers.

No Parties. No Smoking. No Pets. Fines apply.

Quiet Time 9 p.m.

SkyRun hot tubs are not intended for children.

Guests buy their own soaps/paper items when provided starter kit items are depleted.

Estes Park is a Dark Sky Community. Bring a Flash Light.

This home does not have a weekly trash pick up service. Trash will be picked up at departure. If necessary, trash will be picked up mid-stay for a nominal fee. Call the office at 970-480-8845. Trash must not overflow the bear proof trash can or be stored in the garage or home.

We reserve the right to conduct a property safety check during long term stays.

BEARS in the area - secure trash, lock doors and windows when leaving.

Local On-Call Staff available after hours for emergency issues only, i.e. gas leak, broken furnace, broken water line.

Snow removal by SkyRun depending on property, at 4 inches of new snow.

Management provides a starter kit of amenities to get you through your first day, including: an extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, one extra roll of paper towels, 2-3 garbage bags, sample-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner, small bar soap, 2-3 laundry powder packs, 4-5 dishwashing pods, liquid dishwashing soap, and a single brew coffee pack. Guests will need to provide or purchase additional toiletries and products as needed beyond this starter kit.
Long-term reservations of 14+ days require mid-stay property safety checks or mid-stay cleans, additional trash pickups and hot tub services. Safety checks are at no additional charge. Mid-stay cleanings include linens change, floors, bathrooms and light surface cleaning. Mid-stay services are charged to the guest, and charges can only be added after your reservation is made. Management will call the guest directly for payment for the required services. Call our office for details.

Great stay

We had a great stay at this property. Easy check in and check out. My only knock would be no cooling system as the place stays pretty warm at night so windows need to be opened to cool it off before bed. Very clean, had all the basics for our stay.

Loved our vacation in Estes Park

The property was a nice house with a fenced back yard with a hot tub and a barbeque grill. Everything was great and we enjoyed our home away from home very much. I was so impressed with the cleanliness and all the conviences that were availble with this house. We were able to do laundry and cook while we were there. We especially enjoyed the views of the mountains from the property and the area wildlife that wandered up and down the street and through the adjoining properties. What a great time! Thank you for allowing us to stay with you!

Perfect Property

This was a perfect property for us and our small four-legged family member! The cottage was super clean, beautiful views from every window, surprisingly private given its close proximity to downtown Estes Park, and the tall backyard fence made it safe for our little dog. Loved our stay and will definitely try to return.

Nice cozy lots of wild life

Overall great for price. Conveniently located near downtown, store, and stanley hotel. Deer in yard daily. Was a bit smaller than anticipated, but comfortable. A TV in the bedroom would have been nice. Kitchen had necessary items, but lacked any staples salt pepper etc. Dishes needed to be washed prior to use as there was food on some. Hot tub and fireplace were great All in all great for the value.

BFF hiking experience

We needed a close, comfy place to Rocky Mountain National Park and it was exactly what we needed. The hot tub was wonderful after a day of hiking and it was close to all the restaurants and shopping we wanted to do.

Great cabin in the woods!

Loved our stay here, everything was as described! Walk to town, beautiful views, clean property, fenced in back area for dog was awesome and loved a nightly hot tub!! Only warning
if you are tall, watch out for bathroom doorways, I hit my head a couple times. Would def book again and recommend to all!!

Excellent stay

Enjoyed our stay. Very clean cabin. hot tub was excellent. I would definitely stay at this cabin again. Can’t beat location. An easy walk to downtown for shopping, lunch and dinner. Returned home one evening and a male deer was lying right at the door. Another day a female deer was lying just outside bedroom window. One early morning there was a Lynx Bobcat near the driveway.

Very Relaxing

Booked at the last minute. Very comfortable and clean. Just what we needed/wanted for our time off. Two minor downfalls...the Roku requires streaming accounts that we don't have but we did have fun watching a bunch of old shows on the "live tv" option. Couldn't use hot tub because gutter was clogged and melting snow and pine needles were cascading down onto the tub from the end of the gutter. All in all, great.

Fantastic Location

This was the perfect location as it was near the Stanley Hotel where we had a wedding to attend while also being close to the downtown area. From previous reviews, I was expecting a few more amenities in the kitchen (we ended up having to buy both salt and pepper). The hot tub and backyard were both wonderful. Beds were extremely loud and with the high temperatures, a fan would have been nice to have in the bedrooms. There were bugs all over one of the couches in the living room...kind of expected given the location but something that wasn't extremely pleasant. Overall, a nice place for the price and the location.
