Pros: Hot tub was clean and hot, house is enormous with plenty of places to relax, location is good and the surroundings are quiet.Cons: Kitchen in terrible shape.. needs new floor, cabinets, dishes, pans. Master bed mattress is old and lumpy, HVAC broken.

Beautiful getaway

My mom, step dad brother and my family of 7, ages 4-19 stayed. There was plenty of room and plenty of stuff to enjoy and relax in the cabin! The entire area is full of fun things to do! Highly recommend this cabin and area!

Lovely

This was a very large place that was easy for our family that had mobility issues. Large kitchen/dining area that allowed us all to eat together. Owners were lovely and did everything they could to ensure we had a nice stay.

Great spot. Great company to work with. Smooth process from check in to checkout. They msg everyday to see if u need anything. Will definitely stay with aunt bugs for future rentals. Wld give 12 out of 10 if i cld.

We loved the house and the location. There was a water issue going to two of the bathrooms. Very low water pressure, we were unable to use sinks in 2 bathrooms. The owner was aware of the problem. Thankfully there were only 4 people so we could share the bathrooms.

House was bigger than expected. Layout was perfect for multiple families. Bears came to the campfire at the front door. Owner was amazing

great place but a couple of issues

This cabin was a perfect space for my group, and in a great location! However, there were a couple of issues with the cabin (i.e. some light switches and outlets didn’t work, and one bathroom wasn’t functional). Though, we had a great time in the cabin, and dealt with the issues during the duration of our stay. I would recommend this place!

Family gathering

The house was very nice and fit our 3 families well. Enjoyed all the different living areas of the house. Watched movies, kids liked hot tuband we all enjoyed firepit.

Perfect stay in the Smokies

I highly recommend The Buckhorn Lodge in Gatlinburg. The views were phenomenal. The house was clean and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you would need if you are cooking during your stay. The home theater was a nice touch. We used during the election results. Management was always quick to answer any questions. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great mountain cabin

Overall the cabin was great. We partially booked because it said they had a fenced property, but it is not fenced, so that was definitely a let down. I would for sure rent again, and it would be great for larger groups. There was a lot of seating room and activities in the cabin.

Perfect Location, Cozy Eclectic Lodge

The home was interesting and quirky, spotlessly clean, not even a spider web! Property manager was easily accessible and responded immediately to the clogged kitchen sink and was easy to ask questions of! Loved the fountain outside and the quiet amazing views. Could hardly even see a neighbor! Perfect getaway from the city. Will be back!

Family and Friends

I Purposed to the Woman of my Dreams on the Skybridge in Gatlinburg! To make it the best and most memorable moment I also invite her Family and mine and all our friends this Cabin fit the whole Moment perfectly! It Location for everything was perfect! Our Family and Friends had a great time, the fire pit was perfect, and everything else kept everyone entertained and to top it off my Dog was able to be there which made it even more special since he’s part of the Family! Would recommend this place to anyone wanting a Family gathering!

Rest time

The house is nice plenty of room for family and friends. There were a few maintenance things that should have been taken care of. Broken tile in the kitchen covered over with a rug. Broken tile going into the hot tub room covered over with a rug electrical cord going to the hot tub, covered over with a rug. Sauna was advertised but sauna was being used as a storage room. Two of the bedroom doors were locked when we got there. The house was clean. Amenities were good. The area was private and overall the houses a good option.

Wanted to like it…buyer beware…

The house was large enough for families;however, there are some issues with the home that were unacceptable. The half bath was not functional. The water didn’t work for toilet or sink. The owner knew before renting this was an issue and offered to fix it while we were there but said it would take hours. The kitchen sink was clogged and the water pressure in the home was terrible. The owner was nice and did unclog the sink….but the smell of sulfer was awful. There were several tiles loose in the kitchen and the hot tub area had a soaking wet rug. It wouldn’t take much to turn this property around, but it wasn’t worth what I paid to stay. Also, Aunt Bugs did not offer any type of compensation. Being down a bathroom was a big deal with 7 people in the cabin.

More than plenty of room, obnoxious amount of pre-arrival management communication, older home.

Positives....plenty of rooms and space. We were all spread out so it never felt crowded. The table in the kitchen accommodated all of us. Negatives....listing showed sauna but after booking, received phone call letting me know it didn't work. We have NEVER had so much pre-arrival management communication. It was obnoxious. And, we did not get the address to the property until over an hour AFTER check in time. We drove over 4 hours to get to property. Was told it was because it was a "busier time and the house wasn't ready." Was not compensated with extra time or refund. The house is old and was very dusty. The water pressure was horrible. There were multiple broken things or not functioning appliances like the tile flooring in the kitchen and hot tub room, where they just threw a big rug on top, a lamp cord in the master bedroom was cut, there was no gas for the gas powered master bath ambiance flame, multiple drawers in the kitchen were off track, the dishwasher door slams open, the pull out couches were very old and need new mattresses. The faux leather fabric couches in the game room were peeling and all over the floor after sat upon. The Wifi is plugged into the wall where the barn door is located. When the door is slid open it knocks the wifi cord out off the wall disconnecting the wifi. The barn door also doesn't close fully. Therefore, the family in that room does not have privacy. Despite all of that disappointment, we had a great time and made great memories.
