Our girl trip

It covered our needs, but was missing a few things that would have been nice to have.(Toaster, coffee maker And hair dryer.)Enjoyed the quiet area and all the trees. It was a great location.I would stay there again.

Close to Convention center

When we arrived the air conditioner was not working. Called owner and she was very responsive! It was fixed right away the next morning. Good location, comfortable beds. Disappointed there was no coffee pot, toaster or plates for meals.

We were driving through so made a last minute one night stay. The bed was comfortable and it worked for us for what we needed. The host had great communication. I would have loved a coffee pot of some sort in the morning. I missed that on the listing when booking.

Overnight stay

We just stayed one night, pretty much just used as a place to sleep as we were at an event nearby. Overall it worked for what we needed. Just had a little trouble with the getting the door opened after unlocking but eventually figured it out.

Great One Night Stay

Nice house with easy check in process and communicative host. A few minor issues like a broken toilet seat, or the main TV remote not working, but nothing serious.

Convenient but missing accommodations

The overall house was clean and conveniently located for our needs, but there were a few issues that made it a less than 5 star experience. The online listing said the home slept 5 people, but only 2 beds were made up. There was a couch, but we had to find pillowcases for the extra pillows and there were no extra blankets - just sheets. The living room was also very sparsely furnished and made it uncomfortable to spend time in. Aside from the one couch, there were two ornate dining chairs that were very clearly broken. The check-in process also felt very insecure. The key was “hidden” in a very obvious location and the code for the lockbox would be very easy to guess. Anyone could have easily gotten into that house before we picked up the key.I wouldn’t stay here again, but I’m not upset that we stayed once.

Me and 3 other adults were attending something in downtown KC and were looking for somewhere affordable to stay, and this property was perfect! Clean, spacious, and affordable! The owner communicated well throughout our stay! Would definitely stay here again if we come back to KC!

A wonderful little two bedroom house

There are not pictures to do this house justice. The living room is cozy and the cleanliness of the house is spectacular. The beds are comfy enough, and the nights are quiet for a peaceful night sleep. The backyard is big with a beautiful view. I would stay here again.

Great location

This place was perfect for our stay! Easy parking and close to everything we wanted to do. Host was very quick to respond. We stayed in the smaller of the 2 bedrooms because we liked that bed better. Cute back patio. Would love to come back and see some sporting events.

Felt like home

This property was basic, but had everything we needed. I really enjoy the backyard and view along with the deck. This was the kind of place I would rent time and time again. A nice, quite neighborhood near 435, I-70, Walmart and Starbucks. Felt like I lived there. Highly recommend.

Five star stay. Great property! Clean and cozy and full of all the necessary details. Very easy scheduling and access with no problems whatsoever. Latiesha was very accommodating and easy to work with. Will definitely stay here again.

Good Location for a Game

We were in town for just one night to attend a baseball game. This place was conveniently located near the stadium. Communication with the host was easy and quick. We were disappointed that there was no coffee maker, so come prepared if you like your morning cup. Big, pretty backyard, though we didn't stay long enough to fully enjoy it. Interesting decor touches give it character. Everyone slept well. It was just what we needed.

False description of things included in sray

Very little toilet paper, no pans to warm up food in oven, no real plates, very little paper towls. No shampoo like posted only 3 towels for 2 night stay. plus trash outside was full when we got here and stunk like crazy

Very near the stadium

I booked this property because it was cheap and very near the stadium for a non sporting event. I am satisfied with what I recieved for what I paid. However there were some things I might have liked to know before booking: Front door was all glass and had no blinds or curtain so I felt like the people having a party in the driveway across the street could see into the living room. There were extra pillows on a chair in one bedroom but no pillowcases. The black bedding was a velvety texture which was not my ideal especially in the summer. Both closet doors in that room were off their tracks and unusable. There was a strong smell of cleaning product or air freshener. It seems like owner is working on fixing some of these things as there were what looked like curtains and velcro strips sitting on a chair in the living room. None of these issues would stop me from rebooking this property at that price.

You get what you pay for

The host did not send me the instructions to get into the house. When we arrived, we sent a text and glad she was able to right away. Beds had only a bottom sheet and bedspread and shams: no pillowcase, no top sheet, no blanket. We did find an extra flat for one bed and 2 pillowcases in a closet. That helped one bedroom, not the other. The pillows were the flattest and there were no extras. Neither light in the hallway worked so finding the extra bedding was by cel phone light. The place is under renovation and the kitchen, living room and all the light fixtures are very cute. But the bedrooms need work! Wall paint done by sprayer without protecting anything, so it’s literally painted onto the carpet. The light switches and plugs and smoke alarm are painted. Many plugs don’t work. There was no shampoo as listed. Towels were mismatched and had holes. After confirmation she also said she didn’t charge a cleaning fee so I need you to do a few things …which I only resented because it should have been in the description. Truth is the cheap price is what attracted me to the place. I appreciate the host was quick to respond (had it not been late when I arrived, I would have insisted she bring us adequate bedding). It looks like the place is a work in progress and therefore cheaper. There just needs to be adequate bedding and nicer towels. Or tell me and I would have brought my own. These are quick fixes.
