The house had been remodeled and would have been fine if it had been clean. When we arrived we brought in a few groceries and when we got to the kitchen counters, they were sticky and had something gritty all over them . We cleaned that up. Then the bathroom floors had not been cleaned. They had hairs all over them. The tubs also had hairs in them. The floors in the whole house were dirty and covered in hairs ( maybe dog?). The baseboards had thick black dust and hair on them. They were filthy. The beds all had thick dust under them. We left a day early after no communication from the owner after I made him aware and asked for at least one nights refund. I contacted VRBO and am supposed to hear back, but have yet to hear back. I would not recommend renting this place to anyone. The photos below are after we had cleaned up some.
We all enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable with, large couch! One of the ways I believe they could do better is there was no shampoo, body soap etc, they only had a small bar soap on sink. No hairdryer and it would have been nice to have a towel rack or something in the bathroom to hang your towel. Loved the open kitchen and dining area. Convenient location.
The location of the property was perfect for easy access to Kauffman Stadium and a Kansas City Royals game - less than 10 minutes away by car. The property was spacious with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The property is in a quiet neighborhood with a huge backyard - we even saw some deer (a doe and two fawns)!
Nice property had all the essential items for a comfortable stay. This was very close for a night at the ball park. Also it was convenient for downtown activities: farmers market, museums, casinos, comedy club, and an assortment of great restaurants! All this is a quiet neighborhood tucked away in Ray town with a great backyard with deer, rabbits, squirrels, etc.
This gem of a home I affectionately called "The Tardis". Looks small from the outside, but once you walk in, rooms and space magically appear!! It is beautifully decorated inside and filled with all the comforts of home. Quiet neighborhood with lots of land to sit back, relax and nature watch. Perfect location if you're planning for away games for your favorite football and/ or baseball teams.
What a find this property was! While easily accessible to the stadiums and nearby amenties, it's in a quiet neighborhood and backs up onto an open field where we enjoyed watching wildlife while we relaxed on the patio. The property was pristine and Ryan was very responsive to our questions.
Nice clean house and easy to get to the stadium for Chiefs and Royals. I didnât know they were right beside each other We Uberâd and it was cheap and easy
We came to Kansas City to visit Kauffman stadium and crossed off another stadium on our ballpark bucket list. This property was exactly what we expected. Clean, comfortable and perfect location! Larry next door is so nice! We took his recommendation and ate at jack stacks, it was amazing! We all had a great time and would absolutely stay here again in the future. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your property!
This location was perfect to allow easy travel throughout the city. Very convenient for MLB and NFL stadium. Well stocked kitchen. You do need to bring toiletries as hand soap was all that was provided.
This is our second time staying at this house. Very clean and comfortable inside. Not far from downtown KC and many other places which is nice. Host is helpful and quick to respond! Overall enjoyed our stay and will more than likely return.
Comfortable older home in older neighborhood but good location if attending games at stadiums. Nicely remodeled kitchen with Keurig coffeemaker and other useful amenities for cooking and comfortable king bed in master. Nice big backyard with patio and small Weber grill. Could use a good overall deep cleaning, otherwise no complaints.
We have stayed at this property several times to attend sporting events nearby. The water is hot, the Internet is fast, the beds are comfy and it is spacious and clean. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms making it great for a family function. Landlord is great and there's a property manager next door. Thanks again for having us!
Exceptionally clean. So well stocked Had plenty of space. Ryan was so prompt with communication. Liked the country feel away from the busy city and still just 5 minutes from all the activities. Excellent place to stay. I would highly recommend this house.

We arrived at the location and were able to enter the house with no problem. After entering the home we noticed a good deal of dust bunnies and dirt under/near the couch and beds. The cleaning lady needs to clean the vents and under the beds, chairs, couch and tables in the home. We would not stay here again.
The house is recently renovated, very clean and located in a nice quiet area conveniently located for access to Arrowhead Stadium.Travel to various places throughout KC was easy and didn't take long. The beds were comfortable and although we didn't use the kitchen, it was well stocked and ready for prepping meals. The host is responsive and quick to answers questions prior to check in.
My wife and I fell in love with property when we first saw it. The house was built in 1924 and has been completely gutted and renovated. The previous owner poured 2 years of hard work and love into this home to make it what it is today.
House is in a secluded area with no neighbors behind the house. It sits on an acre lot in the middle of town, close to the stadiums. Everyday you'll see a family of 5 white tailed deer, foxes, blue birds and cardinals.
