Island greetings from 115 Pleasant Valley! This gorgeous 5 bedroom beach vacation rental on Kiawah Island is a dream destination for your next beach or golf getaway! Situated on the second hole of the Turtle Point Golf Course in the prestigious gated Vanderhorst area, the home boasts a beautiful renovated interior with a luxurious island vibe. Providing incredibly scenic golf views and tons of spacious rooms to spread out and relax, you've found a true coastal gem!
Step inside to discover the heart of the home, an expansive open main living space bathed in natural light. The interior seating area is a comfortable great room with soaring ceilings and cozy sofas, perfect for watching movies on the large SmartTV after a long day at the beach. This room is highlighted by a unique vertical rotation ceiling fan which adds to the ambiance, creating a perfect blend of comfort and coastal charm. A massive doorway opens to the window-lined four seasons sun room that truly brings the outdoors in and beckons you to relax with a good book or great conversation and soak in the scenery.
The upscale gourmet kitchen is a chef's delight, featuring stainless steel appliances and a massive central island with bar seating - perfect for hosting. There is a formal dining table with seating for 8+ guests as well as a sunny breakfast area with a 4-person table to enjoy delicious meals.
For those looking for a little fresh air and sunshine, you can access the large open outdoor deck from the breakfast room or the sun room. Relax and enjoy wine with friends on the comfortable porch seating or grill out and dine alfresco at the outdoor patio table, all while watching golfers play by.
For sleeping, the primary suite (Bedroom #1) is located on the first floor of the home, just off the living room. This bedroom boasts a king bed, dual closets, a small settee area, and a large private bathroom with two separate vanities, expansive glass shower, and a soaking tub. There are three more bedrooms on the main first level as well - two rooms that contain queen-sized beds (Bedroom #2 and #3) which share access to a hallway bathroom and a bedroom at the end of the hall which has a king bed (Bedroom #4) and private bathroom. Heading upstairs, you'll find the fifth bedroom (Bedroom #5), a spacious loft-style room with four beds, a private bathroom and a spot for watching TV - a perfect kids area!
For convenience, there is complimentary Wifi and a full size laundry room with washer/dryer on the first floor. And all bedrooms have TVs.
Mostly importantly, when it's time to head to the beach, the home is conveniently located near the "Allee of Oaks" providing easy access down to the beachfront boardwalk. For a little more adventure, we recommend renting bikes to explore the island throughout the miles of scenic paths. You can also rent kayaks, join a boat cruise, go fishing, and lots more! And don't forget about Kiawah's 5 championship golf courses and famed tennis center. Of course, there's always endless area shopping, dining and historic sites, all within driving distance.
