Thank you for your kind comments about the condo and North Beach Resort. We're glad you found the accommodations spacious and enjoyed the property. We do want to clarify the circumstances surrounding the construction. On October 1, the resort's HOA notified us of the upcoming maintenance project. We notified you and every other impacted guest that same day. Unfortunately, we cannot alert guests to construction before the resort informs us it is happening. As an independent vacation rental management company, we have no control over the HOA's construction schedule, notification timeline, noise, or temporary balcony obstructions. We certainly understand how disappointing it is to have an ocean view obstructed during a vacation. Our rental agreement, acknowledged at booking, expressly states that refunds are not provided for resort or building maintenance. Nevertheless, we voluntarily provided a 10% discount on your reservation as a gesture of goodwill, despite having no obligation to do so under the agreement. We take transparency and guest communication seriously. We did not withhold information; we shared it immediately upon receiving it and offered compensation for circumstances entirely outside our control.
