I really enjoy managing/owning Dolphin Smiles and families like this make it all more worth while. They helped me, regarding a neighbor installing a pool adjacent to my property line and it was invaluable. I can only hope they return soon to relax and enjoy the Gulf Coast.

Thank you so much for your kind words. The living room television was not on the correct HDMI setting and I was unaware of the master bedroom mattress not meeting your expectation. However, I will be installing a new king size bed with a memory foam mattress within a week. The same mattresses will be replacing the twin bedroom as well.

I reached out to Adam, as I do all of my guests, several hours prior to his arrival and never received a response until after he arrived 5-6 hours later with a pic of a wasp nest under the outdoor stairs. I sent my property assistant to remove the issue and was told it was several years old and not an issue for anyone. This set the tone for the rest of his stay as I was messaged with no hello and multiple complaints almost daily. As he outlined with his review, I did everything possible to resolve these issues. I did send an appliance repairman twice regarding the refrigerator issue which ultimately led to a replacement. He left my home quite disrespected (bathrooms and kitchen) I wish Adam and his group the best and my other reviews more accurately reflect the experience my guests can actually expect at Dolphin Smiles.

I’m sorry that you had a less than optimal experience with my property and thank you for giving me the opportunity to correct any issues I may have been having. Pricing a property for rent or purchase is an art form. You want to make it worth while for both parties and instill value so the home is respected. Therefore, my rates have remained historically lower because I want to balance value and experience for my guests. Your check in process is the same as everyone else and is guided by downloading the VRBO app and following the directions given. I did speak with you several times regarding this and you had neglected to download the app and I then offered any assistance which you denied. Beach service information is also retrieved via the app and Kyle who manages this service is extremely accommodating. Guests are encouraged to call or email Kyle prior to their arrival to request extra chairs, umbrellas, etc. I will speak with him to make sure my guests have a close to seamless experience as possible. You did reach out about the disposal issue that I attempted to trouble shoot with a disposal key and ultimately led to a reset switch below the unit. I didn’t want to inconvenience you with a service call that was handled over a few minute phone call. My master bath sinks are a bold, cobalt blue inspired and chosen because of the beach location. Yes they do require frequent rinsing as I do the same when I visit. Three of the beds in the home are memory foam and less than a year old. I’m sorry you didn’t find them comfortable. This family left (ironically) the master bath with unknown, very difficult to remove stains in the shower and hair strewn everywhere. The master bath shower caddy was damaged beyond repair. All living room furniture had been moved and seat cushions on the floor. A lamp between two living room chairs was knocked off it’s secure base. You also could have contacted me directly through VRBO after your departure. This is done to document and protect both parties. I’m very proud of my families that have had such a great time at Dolphin Smiles and reflected that attitude with their flattering reviews. I go to this property twice a year to replace, repair, deep clean and update the home. I understand that all expectations can not be met but I will continue to do my best to make this property a memory maker.
