This was our second stay in this particular unit. Always satisfied with the cleanliness and conveniences they provide. The host and check in couldn't be easier. This unit has a perfect ocean view from the master suite and patio. Outdoor beach needs are furnished, along with towels. Simply walk outside and down the path to the beach. We will continue to visit Longboat Key and this unit is on our go to list.

I have to say I was left quite underwhelmed. I wasn’t ever contacted with access information and had to reach out multiple times for it by phone and message. I then arrived and wasn’t told there was no internet. Upon entry to the unit we found a huge dead water bug on the floor outside the bedrooms and gnats flying around the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen floor was sticky. They shared beach gear was filthy and thrown all over the place in the hallway by the stairs. The property manager/ maintenance guy came by and tried to mansplain me about the gnats and how if I own a property I should know that gnats are normal and that water bugs get inside. There were assigned parking spots and I came back from being out on more than one occasion with someone parked in my spot. No one showed up to tow or did anything about it and I literally went onto the beach and complained out loud then all of sudden the vehicle in my spot created a Random parking for itself by the smoking area. There were issues with the air quality in the unit and after 1 night, we changed the ac filter which improved most of the house except for the room with the king bed. Those who slept in the room came how sick from this trip and we are still getting over it. Overall I would not stay here again in the future and do not believe that I got the value for what I paid. They also don’t tell you that the pool is across the street and not on site. The beach was nice and beach loungers available were nice too.

We have passed your notes regarding pest control to our Operation's team to ensure our standards are strictly maintained. Longboat key vacation

We have stayed in Longboat before in other resorts but this visit was the best. The check-in, parking, rooms very clean, coffee maker, umbrellas. I contacted the management and they answered me in timely manner. They had beach umbrellas and all emmenities. I will definitely recommend this resort and will return.

Best in Class

We stay on the Gulf every summer and this was the best place we have stayed so far. It was spacious and clean, only steps from the beach. There is no laundry inside the rental, however a common washer/dryer was right outside our door.

Great beach, nice managers!

Well stocked kitchen and linens, and “starter kit” for paper products was generous. Pool and hot tub area well maintained and clean. Manager answered my questions promptly and politely even though my questions were probably answered in their welcome emails. We were disappointed the dock was under repair, thankfully we were able to cancel a boat rental. Only wish list items would be a stronger dishwasher (left a little residue) and a door off the lanai to get outdoors/to the beach. Would stay there again!

Great place!

My husband & I had a wonderful time! The location was ideal, the property and amenities were great! Right on the beach with beach chairs in place for guests. The unit was well stocked with everything we could possibly need! My only complaint is that the clothes dryer didn’t dry our clothes. Was not a big deal because we were only there a short time & only washed one load of laundry. (I forgot to report to management, so I can’t say anything about their response.)

Can’t beat the location, but interior was dirty

So we will absolutely stay at Beach Castle Resort again. Sue made check in a breeze and was super friendly and accommodating (thanks Sue)! You also cannot beat being right on the beach and all the amenities provided (beach chairs, towels, sand toys, bogey boards, and umbrellas! However, unit 5 was dirty (a dead cockroach in the closet, moldy shower curtain, and stains on the couch). Each unit is individually owned, so we plan to rent another unit next year. We would stay at number 5 if they did a deep clean, got rid of the dirty items, and an exterminator.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Let me start by saying we've been staying at the Beach Castle for nearly 25 years. We love your resort. This year, I adv the representative over the phone we have 2 parties coming from 2 different locations and we would have 2 cars. He said that would be no problem at all. When we got there, there was no one in the office, granted we were a little earlier than check in. I called the # and she came back to check us in about 40 minutes later. This was fine. But when we checked in, she adv we only have 1 parking pass. I adv I'd already explained to the rep over the phone, she said there was no mention of it in our reservations. She did give us a pass to park off site at Cedars East. Again fine, a little inconvenient but still okay. The room was okay. The only real issue we had with is was there were bugs in the room. I mean there seemed to be a lage abundance of them. I am talking cockroaches. Not the large water bug kind that are inevitable in the humid south, the nasty kind. Dead and alive. We also had an issue with the occupants of one bed getting bitten during the night. The vacation was great, everything else was great, but the cleanliness of the room was lacking.

This spot is such a hidden gem. Longboat Key an amazing beach spot that is peaceful, relaxing, and not at all crowded. The sand is perfect for kids building sand castles and tons of seashells to hunt. We loved the easy access to the beach and that chairs and umbrellas were included. The condo itself had everything we needed. The master bedroom keeps a little warmer than the rest of the condo, so we made sure to keep the bathroom door closed and the bedroom door open to help with airflow. TVs with Netflix and Amazon Prime already logged in was perfect and one less thing we needed to do upon arrival. We loved this area and can’t wait to return!
