Book this house because it was close to my sister house in Hickory. Very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed visiting around the fire pit with her family and my parents. Look forward to staying there again in the future.
Great place to stay. The neighborhood was quiet and nice. Property was huge...had a pond in the back that you could walk to and a huge deck to sit on. Highly recommend this VRBO!
We went to Hickory to visit a friend going through chemo. The house was in the perfect location. It was clean, comfortable, and charming. It was close to all of the restaurants we enjoyed. We will stay here again if the property is available on our next visit.
Went down for a week at lake hickory to prepare for a fishing tournament. Property was clean and the host was very accommodating. Parking for boat and trailer and in close proximity to the lake. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!!!
We loved staying at the house. So nice to have some property to explore. We were there for 10 days and will return if we need a place to stay in Hickory.
Comfortable, even homey. Immaculate. Not just quiet, but private. AND comes with a huge yard, a pond and wooded trails for wandering. Maybe not dialed in with the latest technology, and you wonât see any vaulted ceilings, but if youâre looking for a home away from home, here is one.
The house is older and has some quirks (watch your head in the basement) but was perfectly fine for our purposes. It was close to main routes to get downtown, to the convention center, and parks along the river. We enjoyed the room to roam and saw the comet over the field and woods. Jacky was quick to respond when there was a problem with the furnace. Would stay again if in Hickory.
We really enjoyed our stay here. We especially loved all the beautiful land the house sits on. I used to camp behind the house when I was a boy scout, so it was really fun to walk in the woods and fields nearby and reminisce about all the fun I had here when I was younger. Everyone commented on how nice the house was and how comfortable they felt while staying there.
