Camera 1 is a doorbell device with an exterior security camera facing the front outdoor entry, camera 2 is a garage flood light camera facing the driveway, camera 3 is a flood light camera on the back of the home facing the lake and dock, and camera 4 is on the dock facing the shoreline. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into any interior spaces. They record video and audio when motion is detected or when the doorbell is pressed. It will record when it first senses motion and 15 seconds after the last motion is detected

Girls weekend for Dance Competition

The house is beautiful and had everything we needed! We had a fabulous long weekend with friends! Will stay again if in the area.

Great time!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean and had plenty of space to accommodate us. Everybody wants to book this house again during the summer time so we can experience the lake and all the other amenities.

Cool House!

We rent homes often in the Hickory/Lenoir area. This house is definitely one of the best!! Very new, comfortable rooms, fabulous screened porch. Likely will rent here again in the future.

New, beautiful house with lake front views

Beautiful, new home with great upgrades. Very quiet neighborhood and lake front. Walk down to water is a little steep but great views. The outdoor living space sold us and we absolutely loved staying here. Only 30 mins to Double J wedding venue.

Gorgeous lake home for the perfect getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay and the hosts made us feel very welcomed. The house is brand new, very well designed, comfortably furnished and has tons of amenities. There’s even a movie room with a ping-pong table, and old-school arcade machine!The back patio deck is the perfect place to relax, unwind and take in the beautiful views of the lake and surrounding landscape. We cannot wait to go back with our family!

My family’s experience at Lakefront Connelly was nothing short of a heavenly retreat. This beautifully designed and furnished home sits among mature trees with a gorgeous view of the lake. The house is impeccable and has everything a large group needs for a relaxing retreat. There is nothing these owners did not think of. The screened-in porch is one-of-a-kind, seating large groups for dinner. The dock is impeccable and covered, located in a private cove on the lake. This creates a comfortable place to spend the whole day. The basement is a dream for entertaining with a large movie area, two huge sectionals, ping pong/pool table, bar and walk out to the hot tub. The beds are all very comfortable and the many bedroom options allow for different family situations. There is a fire pit where we could make smores and enjoy the cool evenings. We plan to make this a yearly trip and hope to create many more memories here in the future. Thank you so much for allowing my family to enjoy your slice of heaven.

Great Family Time

We had five adults and four children stay for a week over the Fourth of July. As a person with mobility issues, the three steps to the front door with only a grab bar installed on the post, was challenging for me. Thankfully, the main floor includes the master bedroom and bathroom, great room, kitchen and wonderful screened porch. The rest of my family enjoyed the theater room, the game room and other bedrooms. I do want to point out that there is a bunk over each of the queen or full beds.On arrival, we couldn't figure out the kitchen faucet but easy communication with the property manager let us know it was a motion activated faucet. No one enjoyed using it as it would turn off when you didn't want it to. We also experienced a fruit fly infestation. They were in every bathroom and kitchen. We remedied this by purchasing fruit fly traps at Walmart. After the initial hindrances, we were able to have a wonderful time in this beautifully decorated home. The layout provided many areas for our large group to enjoy. Our children were able to climb down the steep path to the pier and use the kayaks on the lake. In the description of this home, it is mentioned that the owner may be present in the guest house. I thought that I would be ok with that. What ended up happening during our one week stay was that two different family groups that were "friends" of the owners used the guest house. So there were additional people on the property.

Relaxing Lake Stay

We had an absolutely amazing time at the lake house. We stay at a lot of rental homes when we travel and this was honestly one of the most well stocked and planned out places we have ever stayed. It felt like we were invited to stay at a friend’s house rather than a generic rental property - like a real home. It is remote enough to soak in the tranquility and natural beauty while also being near enough to groceries, shopping, movie theaters and restaurants. (You must visit JD’s Smokehouse for unbelievable BBQ!)Our 2 families, totaling 10 people with 5 teenagers, had more than enough options for everyone to sleep comfortably. The kids loved the game & movie room while we enjoyed puzzling with a view of the lake. And speaking of the view, the large porch looking out onto the lake is a spectacular perch. I had my coffee, under the heat lamp, each morning and watched the sunrise over the treetops. With so many people, we bought groceries at Walmart and prepared breakfast and either lunch or dinner each day. The kitchen had absolutely everything we could have wanted. The kids loved the little skillet for perfectly formed fried eggs. I appreciated the ease of the electric fireplace. There is wide chair with an ottoman next to the fireplace perfect for reading or napping. We walked the trails, played pickleball at the club house, fished off the dock, rented a pontoon boat to tour the lake, made s’mores at the fire circle and soaked in the jacuzzi. And before we left, we took advantage of the washer and drier to go home with clean clothes. We definitely hope to come back to lake house.
