ILIKAI NOTICE — July 9, 2025
Starting in July 2025, spalling repairs and full exterior painting of the building will begin. Please be advised: Balcony access for this unit/stack (Phase 4) will be restricted from approximately June 29, 2026, to November 20, 2026, during work hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM). These dates are subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen delays. Please also note that noise disturbances may occur throughout the duration of this project.

Located at 1777 Ala Moana Blvd. the Ilikai is located right at the entrance to sunny Waikiki. Other features include the free Friday night live music and Hula Show in the Ilikai courtyard from 6PM to 8PM and the free Friday night fireworks display in front of the Hilton Hawaiian village next door at 7:45PM. The fireworks are viewable from the Hilton Hawaiian village lagoon, which is right as you exit out the back walking path from the Ilikai. Also the Hilton Hawaiian Village lagoon is for the public and is a great feature for the kids!

An excellent property, convenient location, we even walked to our sunset cruise pick up spot at the nearby harbor. So nice having 2 bathrooms, multiple spacious balconies, wonderful kitchen amenities, full sized refrigerator. Oceanfront view! We would stay here again. Thank you for helping make one of our most memorable family vacations.

Great views!

This property has fantastic views of the Marina and the lagoon at the Grand Waikiki, as well as unforgettable sunsets over the vast Pacific. Magic Island and Kahanamoku Beach are short walks and all of Waikikiis nearby. The unit itself is clean, well-appointed and very nice. I would definitely stay here again!

It has a great view of the marina and ocean, and this part of Waikiki has become our favorite. Although completely functional, we felt the apartment was a bit outdated in regard to the kitchen and bathrooms, and some of the furniture was a bit worn. The bonus was the beach chairs which we used a lot! We’d definitely book this apartment again.

The location is phenomenal, right next to broad walk to Waikiki. About a mile or so from Waikiki. Beautiful sunsets and can walk to beautiful sunrise. Parking is really easy although valet is available as well. Food Pantry is a great grocery store nearby.

Overall, the property and condo were very nice and well maintained. It's an older building so some wear and tear is to be expected. Everything was functional and nice in our condo. Our only complaint would be the clarity of the listing as it relates to the laundry facilities. The description reads as if there is a washer and dryer in the condo. This is not accurate. There are laundry facilities on each floor. One of the things we look for in a vacation rental is an ensuite laundry room. This was a nominal inconvenience as I had to sit in the laundry room for 2 hours a couple times to do laundry rather than have it running while enjoying time with the family.

My stay at the lilkai

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice and spacious we enjoyed the stay my kids loved the balcony, beautiful view. The only thing that can be better is maybe getting parking included because it's $45 a day but I did find a parking lot that was a dollar an hour right behind the property next to the marina.

A Dream Place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It caught our breath from the first moment we walked in! The view is absolutely spectacular. You could literally feel how clean it was. We were celebrating a big birthday, and the most fun was being able to watch fireworks literally so close and right from our balcony! Everything we needed was very close. Loved the fact that you would walk to a beautiful peaceful sandy lagoon of ocean water connected to the ocean where the waves were calmed down by a break water. Special note and very important when you're away from your own home... The beds were very very comfortable! We had a couple of requests for the management, and they responded immediately.If you can stay here, do it. You'll never regret this beautiful place.

Excellent location with gorgeous views

This place was perfect for our family of 5. The view was absolutely spectacular and the home was cute and cozy. The location was great for enjoying Waikiki and we loved spending time on the balconies. The one and only negative are the elevators. The elevators get so busy that we found ourselves having to use the stairs alot. It's especially terrible during the time of day that people are checking in or out so just expect long waits to use the elevators. Despite all that, we'd still recommend staying at this gorgeous place.

Todo muy bien , la ubicación y el departamento , somos una familia de 5 adultos y un bebé , la cocina perfecta , la vista increíble , los viernes hay fuegos artificiales y se ven en primera línea , todo muy bueno , no funcionó el lavavajillas pero nos dieron solución ala brevedad , súper recomendable

Fantastic location

This property was perfect for our first visit to Honolulu. We walked everywhere. A nice bonus was the amazing view of the ocean and lagoon. We were steps from a great beach, restaurants, and pool.
