We actually keep the A/C nice and chilly when we stay at the house ourselves—usually cold enough that we need cozy clothes in the master. 😂 We’re sorry the primary bedroom felt warm during your visit, and we’re glad you used the provided stand-alone fans! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback🍊! We’re glad you enjoyed the comfortable bed and found the kitchen well stocked with everything you needed. We’re sorry the train noise was disruptive during your stay. It’s not something we typically hear but we understand that everyone’s sensitivity to sound is different. There has been recent vegetation / tree clearing along the tracks, which has reduced some of the natural buffer between the railroad and the home. As for the A/C in the addition, the system and ductwork were newly completed in 2024 and have been professionally checked. We’ve provided a portable A/C and multiple fans as additional options to help keep that space comfortable, as we think the a/c company can do more but they insist it’s a late summer issue! We genuinely care about our guests’ experience and appreciate the feedback. We’ll continue doing what we can to make the home as comfortable and enjoyable as possible for every guest. We hope to have the opportunity to host you again 🍊
