En regardant sur l’un des grands ponts couverts à la vue spectaculaire du sommet, le mont. Le Conte, du parc national des Great Smoky Mountains, on se croirait à des kilomètres de la civilisation, à 10 minutes seulement du centre-ville de Gatlinburg et à 15 minutes de Pigeon Forge dans un environnement naturel serein pour observer les ours, les ratons laveurs, les grands pics, les faucons , dindes sauvages, et plus encore. Le Manoir de Gatlinburg est une nouvelle construction issue des feux sauvages de 2016. Il s'agit d'un chalet joliment décoré avec des appareils en acier inoxydable, des comptoirs en granit pour la cuisine et la salle de bains, ainsi que des souvenirs de la culture des montagnes des Appalaches. Il dispose de 5 chambres (tous les lits king), 4 salles de bains avec dressing supplémentaires, qui dort 10 personnes.

Le plafond vo��té dans la grande salle présente une magnifique cheminée en pierre bois brûlant. La grande salle ouverte, la cuisine et la salle à manger sont idéales pour les réunions de famille et les amis.

Autres équipements: Une cuisine entièrement équipée, 2 terrasses spacieuses avec balançoires, des rockers, des chaises Adirondack, des tables pour les repas en plein air, un bain à remous avec écran de confidentialité, une télévision grand écran dans la grande salle et la salle de jeux et 5 autres téléviseurs dans chaque chambre, Internet sans fil, salle de jeux avec table de billard réalisée par un artisan de l’Est du Tennessee, laveuse / sécheuse, barbecue au charbon de bois et nombreux parkings à niveau rapproché.

Yearly Family Greataway

Very nice home, open concept was one of the best we have stayed at. The decks with the swings was a great feature with an overhang that we all could be out there while it rained and not get wet. As in other reviews it’s a good idea to bring towels with you as there would not of been enough if we weren’t doing laundry every day. They need a good handy man to tighten towel bars, toilet paper holders and plumbing issues.

Perfect Thanksgiving Getaway

We had a great time. The Cabin was well positioned and managed. It was definitely large enough to accommodate our 9-member extended family. We would definitely use this cabin and management company again.

Wonderful house, the 5 rooms with king beds was definitely a selling point. Fantastic deck views. Easy check in and check out. Definitely recommended.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time! Our sons/daughters-in-law and grandkids had plenty of room to spread out and quiet time when they needed it. They particularly enjoyed the huge kitchen and the hot tub! The deck has an amazing view and felt very safe having the little ones on it. We had a bear investigate our grill when we were fixing dinner one day but he left soon after and didn't return (as far as we know). Mountain roads to home take some getting used to but most mountain homes are like that.

We saw bears at our rental and in the area 3 times during our 3 day stay. We enjoyed the large hot tub. The kichen table could use more lighting for game night. Lower Deck furniture needs to be wiped down. We are renting it next year.

Annual Friendsgiving Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our group of friends’ 21st annual trip to Gatlinburg. We stayed in Gatlinburg Manor last year and liked it so much that we booked it again. We really like the space and layout of this home. We can all be together if we want or spend time downstairs or on either of the 2 large decks. The location is perfect - about midway between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge so it’s convenient for wherever we wan t to go. The kitchen is well equipped for our meal preparations (soups, Friendsgiving dinner, breakfast 3 mornings), bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and the home is clean. As always we appreciate renting through Mountain Laurel Chalets - they are always friendly and helpful. We have been doing business with them for 36 years and have never been disappointed!One bonus to our stay this year was when mama bear and her 2 cubs came to visit. We first saw them on top of the garbage can cage then watched from our decks while they hung around our house for a while!

Perfect mountain getaway

We visited with a group of 10, including 4 kids ages 5-9. There was plenty of space for everyone across two levels. The view of the mountains from the upper deck is fantastic. Kitchen well-equipped. Location about 15 minutes up the mountain from downtown Gatlinburg. Be prepared for steep, winding roads and a bear sighting or two! Memorable vacation with college friends and family!

The accommodations where spotless, welcoming and home like. We all had a great time and experience. The views from the 2 decks were even better in person. The house was well supplied with even a extra large crock pot to our surprise. One of the main floor bedrooms is senior friendly with a step in shower. The bedrooms downstairs are perfect for young folks and grandkids. With small children make sure you bring a safety gate or two as recommended. There are many steps to the lower level. Conclusion... this is the place to be in the Smokey's.
