Perfect home for our family vacation! Home is clean and spacious and in a perfect location. Had plenty of rooms for our big group. The hosts were also very helpful and responsive! Close by Yosemite hiking trails as well as grocery stores for convenience. 10/10 reccomend and would stay here again for future!

This was a great stay! The property hosted a large family party. Great activities on the property for everyone, kids and adults: games, hot tub, grill, patio, and deck. This is a great location, close to Yosemite, Bass Lake, and town! The host was very helpful and communicative. Would love to stay here when we are in the area again!

Finding a place that can accommodate 20 people is hard to find. This place could and has great benefits to it. Multiple game rooms, the fire pit, play ground and a lot of things to do. Many things to keep people occupied during their stay. We booked this place for my family for my wedding and were surprised by the cleanliness. Walking up to the house there was throw up in front of the garage. There was rat poop in the drawers and cabinets. There were empty beer cans and water bottles in the living room. There was chocolate smeared on the walls. The tubs and sinks were clogged and wouldn’t drain. All the surfaces were sticky and not from cleaning products from probably alcohol that wasn’t wiped off of counters and floors. Bleach was the only cleaning supply we could find and it was left out in a bathroom where littles could easily access. We told the owner and they stated they only deep clean every 2-3 months and only surface clean between each checkout and proceeded to explain the costs associated with operating their vacation rental. They did offer to send a cleaner but with wedding prepping and the job they did prior we didn’t accept it. All though I understand this is their business, it is discouraging that they care more about their expenses than guest comfort, especially cleanliness. We had 6 kids under the age of 8 and hantavirus is a big concern with rat defecation in kitchen drawers. This place has great potential- just needs a better cleaning crew.

To clarify one concern, our professional pest control provider inspected the property after your departure and confirmed the material in question was dirt, not rodent droppings. When you shared your concerns, we immediately offered to send our cleaning team back to address them. We respected your decision to decline, though we genuinely wished we'd had the opportunity to make things right during your stay. We also want to emphasize that our discussion about property maintenance and operating costs was simply intended to provide context, never to diminish your concerns. Family Annual Vacation & Celebration for Parents 75th birthday

Our visit to Yosemite & Bass Lake will be one of our favorite family gatherings because of this amazing, beautiful home inside & out. It was just right for our family of 20 with ages ranging from 7 to 75.

Perfect for a large family

This property was exactly what we hoped it would be! Sapna was very helpful and responsive, the property had everything we needed for our large family to have plenty of space and things to do. Definitely would stay here again!

Staying here was absolutely amazing!! My fiance and I had our bachelor/bachelorette here and we had a fabulous time. It slept our 20 guests with no issues at all. The games were a blast and there is plenty of space to hang out outside. We also took full advantage of the creek in the backyard. Overall we would highly recommend! Thank you so much for having us!!

Location was perfect. Town was closed for groceries, nice and quaint with thrift shops. Close to Yosemite and Bass Lake providing great outdoor recreation. House was perfect for large groups with lots to do during times of staying in. Beds were comfortable. TV's came with streaming services, great for movie nights. Hot tub was perfect to recover after hiking in Yosemite. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at this house was great. The property was beautiful. The creek was great, especially for the kids when we didn't feel like going to the lake. The kitchen was full of daily cooking amenities however, could definitely use more knives. The neighborhood was very quiet during the day as well. Overall a great stay!

Beautiful property

My family loved our stay at this property for a Yosemite getaway! Our group enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean beautifully decorated and well-maintained. Kitchen has enough dishes and cookware/appliances for what you would need and then some. Such a beautiful and clean home with all the amenities you could need. Hosts were gracious and communicativeI will definitely be recommending this property to others.

Beautiful large open floor family friendly home

This beautiful home was so close to everything, ideal location easily accommodated our family for our annual retreat. The house is fully furnished with all the bedding needed. The kitchen is fully equipped as well. We loved it ! Lots of trees and a natural creek in the property and we saw deers roaming the yard early in the morning it was awesome. Lots of beds easily accommodated our large group and everything in the house was perfect and the host was very responsive and professional.

Fantastic Retreat!

I was organizing a law journal retreat when I found this Oakhurst cabin and immediately booked knowing how great it would be. The location was fantastic - we were able to go to the Firefall at Yosemite with just an hour drive and it was remote enough for group activities like hikes, runs, and axe throwing (in the nearby town). The kitchen was huge and we exclusively cooked big group meals throughout the weekend, so the size of all the kitchen utilities was perfect for us. We also used the hot tub and camp fire, and it just made for great group bonding/memory making! I think it was our best journal retreat ever with the help of this amazing Vrbo!

Spacious, convenient and fun game room

We had a very nice time here in late December 2024. We had 20 people (adults and kids ranging 3-teen). There are 4 bedrooms 1 game room that has murphy bed. The layout of the house is spacious and great for hanging out. The primary bedroom has 2 king beds and 2 bunkbeds so a total of 6 beds in this big room. The game room is a big hit for the kids and adults. The location is convenient to shops and market and good to visit Yosemite. The property sits on a massive lot and has plenty of parking. Communication was fast from the host. We would stay here again.

I love this home

I stayed at this home for a second time. 1st time was with the 1st owners and this time was with the new owners of the property. I wanted to return to this home because I really liked the beautiful and huge plenty spacious yard with a creek that runs through the back, multiple areas of deck space and plenty of chairs to choose from, beautiful open floor plan with multiple levels of nice flooring. Huge spacious bedrooms as well as 2 game rooms and a hot tub so plenty of entertainment to choose from as well. This time around I got to experience all the upgrades done to the home and all I can say is a huge kudos! I had an amazing BDay Getaway with my family and truly enjoyed the memories of laughter we created in your beautiful home. Thank you! I’m sure I’ll be back again! 🙌
