À propos de cet hébergement
The Nightingale · King Bed | 5 min to MOA | 75 & 65 HDTV I Ping Pong
Summary:
The Nightingale is a historic 3-story, 4-bedroom home 5 minutes from the Mall of America and MSP Intl. airport. Built in 1925, it rests on a 10,000 sq ft. lot that provides a relaxing getaway while keeping you close to everything in Minneapolis/St. Paul. Our newly remodeled kitchen has a five-burner gas stove and is stocked w/ utensils, dinnerware, and pots and pans. Our beautiful oak dining table seats ten, and we hope our home will feel as comfortable as your own.
The Space:
I grew up in Minnesota and always wanted to renovate a historic home. My parents and I designed The Nightingale to retain its original 1920s charm while being as accommodating as possible for modern lifestyles.
*****Please note: the basement has a separate entrance on the side of the house that I keep as an apartment for myself. Although I travel most of the year when I'm on the property, my priority is the comfort and peace of the guests— the top three floors and the yard are all yours. If I'm around, you may see me tending to the yard or shoveling the sidewalks.
When you use your personal code to enter through the back door, you will find a redesigned powder room and updated kitchen with everything you need to cook and entertain a group of up to ten. The living room has hardwood floors and a plush sectional with a 75-inch Roku HDTV—perfect for a family holiday or watching the big game.
The three main bedrooms are on the second floor, and a modern chandelier showcases the wood banister as you walk upstairs. In the primary bedroom, we have a king-sized memory foam mattress with a dedicated workspace for one and a 65-inch Roku HDTV. The two secondary bedrooms are nested with one entrance from the hallway and have queen-sized beds.
Also, on the second floor is a spacious bathroom with a porcelain tub and a separate milk-house block glass shower that is magnificent in the morning sun.
On the third floor (The Crows Nest) is another dedicated workspace and a separate bedroom with a queen-sized memory foam bed, a gigantic foam beanbag chair, and a 40-inch Roku HDTV. This is my favorite room in the house—perfect for kids who want to play video games or watch movies.
We also have a stunning three-season porch, in-unit washer/dryer, and 8 brand-new Pickleball courts nearby.
Enjoy your stay!
Guest Access:
-You'll have access to all three floors of the house.
-You're welcome to park TWO personal vehicles in the driveway. Extra vehicles, work trucks, or trailers can park for free on the street.

We provide 4 rolls of toilet paper, 1 roll of paper towels, and 2 large garbage bags. Please let us know if you need additional paper products.
We allow dogs if they don't bark excessively. A few barks here and there are totally acceptable, but we prefer pups who are generally quiet.

Please clean up all dog droppings.
No moving furniture to different rooms.
