Great home and location!

This was a great rental experience. The hosts were very good communicators, and everything lived up to the listing. It was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped for family meals. We definitely recommend!

We stayed here while dropping our child at University of Minnesota. It is very conveniently located, just minutes away. It is also conveniently located to stores and restaurants. The neighborhood is nice and quiet. The house was very clean and well-appointed.

Quiet neighborhood and vise to the venue we needed. It was easy to reach the owner. Cleanliness was generally good but needed some spring cleaning of windows, grill, outside yard.

Good family home

We stayed at this house for six weeks and we don’t have anything but good things to say about it! The host of extremely accommodating with all of our needs. They had the cleaners come once a week to maintain cleanliness throughout our stay. The location is perfect for exploring all of Minneapolis, and very close to the University , we felt safe and comfortable our entire stay. For those with children, there was a park within a mile walking distance! If Work ever causes back to the area, we know exactly where to stay.

Excellent Communication

I rented this home so my extended family could stay there during a recent family reunion in the Twin Cities. The house was clean and well-equipped and in close proximity to my home, so our guests could come and go as needed. The absolute best part was the way our landlord checked in with us to make sure my family's stay was going well and to see if we needed anything. I have rented VRBO properties for more than a dozen years, and no landlord has ever checked in before to make sure that we were happy with our stay. Such great service! My cousins were happy with the rental and with their stay. I would definitely rent again from this couple.

Thanksgiving with college kid & dispersed family

When we found out our U of M freshman, who is also in the marching band, wouldn’t be able to come home for Thanksgiving because of the Saturday football game, we set about finding a way to bring Thanksgiving to her. The location of the property is perfect - just close enough to the stadium to be convenient but far enough to be quiet and away from the traffic. Exceptionally clean, well stocked, and met all of our needs! We had a minor plumbing issue on Thanksgiving but we just happened to meet the handyman outside and the issue was corrected quickly with no fuss! The owners are communicative with instructions for check in and check out. Overall it was just what we needed to have a fabulous family Thanksgiving and bring a little of home to our daughter who would have otherwise missed out being so far away from home for college! Thank you!

Nice house but the cleaning crew needs improvement. Floors were dirty when we arrived, definitely hadn’t been mopped, when we walked in there were water drips and dirt on the floors of the kitchen and basement bathroom, there was a chicken bone in the vase in the living room, the tv in the master bedroom wouldn’t work no matter how many times we reconnected to the WiFi. The heater kept turning off which made for cold nights. At over $900 for two nights definitely expected better.

My wife and I and 4 others were in town for a bike race. This place was perfect for all of us and we were well rested for the race. Everyone had so much fun in Minneapolis and this location made it so easy to access everything we needed to get to by bike! Thanks to the hosts for a clean and well equipped place!

House was great. 4 nice size bedrooms and 2 baths. It’s an old home that has been newly refurbished. It’s comfortable and they had all the essentials for a very comfortable stay. There was room to move around, nice kitchen for cooking, great porch and backyard which we weren’t able to take advantage of. House is about 2 mi walk (20-25 min) from UMN campus or 5 min drive. Easy access to highway. We were there visiting our son at UMN with 3 adult children and spouses 7 adults and 1 infant and house was very nice for all of us to be together. We would recommend this home. It was in a nice quiet neighborhood.

My husband and I were both born in Brazil; I was born on a small island in Bahia, so my passion for beaches and waves is undeniable, hence our home in Sarasota, FL. We enjoy meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and more importantly hosting families. We're very respectful, friendly, and responsive.
