Large Catskill Mountains/Hudson Valley country house, relaxing gathering space

Welcome to our simple country home with lovely mountain views. Located 15 minutes west of Catskill/Hudson and down the road from Leeds, it's close to local attractions and still away from it all. The wrap-around deck and screened in porch are nestled against 13 acres of meadow and woods. WIldlife sightings abound, and the stargazing is unbeatable. Wifi is excellent and the house has a simple, unpretentious spirit. Sleeps 9!
The space
You’ll enter on the ground/garden floor where we have 2 bedrooms (one has twin bunk beds w/ a twin trundle and one has a queen bed), a bathroom with shower, a laundry room with washer/dryer, and a garage game room equipped for some ping-pong and darts (it is not winterized). Make your way upstairs into the large living room, with a wall of windows facing the mountain view. In this upstairs space is also a dining table which seats 6-8 as well as a kitchen bar that can accommodate a few more. The kitchen is well stocked. There are 2 more bedrooms upstairs (one with a king and one with a queen), and a bathroom with shower/bath.

One door off the main living space opens to a wrap-around deck with outdoor seating, as well as a gas grill; the other door opens to a small, screened in porch with a picnic table.

The land, in original Mohican territory, spans 13 acres back into the woods, where you’ll find beautiful Red Oaks and White Pines. The house is surrounded by some mowed lawn and untouched meadow; and a fire pit sits in the middle of the backyard. We encourage you to take full advantage of the peaceful outdoor spaces. We love this space, with all its simplicity and beauty, and hope y’all will, too!
