Beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom country Finca Emilio in the heart of Andalucia with a private pool and mature secluded garden. New to the rental market 2024.
Large outside area with multiple tables/chairs/sunbeds and lounging areas. Stunning views of the mountains, surrounded by forestry, farmland and gardens.
We boast a lovely outside kitchen covered patio dining area with a pizza oven and GAS BBQ. A perfect shaded area to relax and enjoy the local wines and produce.
Located just 2km from the beautiful CĂłmpeta Pueblo. Only 20 minutes drive to the nearest beach at Torrox Costa.
This spendid 2 bedroomed traditional country finca has been refurbished to high standards. Every thing you need to relax and enjoy your vacation.
The finca has a fully fitted American style kitchen complete with a large fridge freezer, oven, gas hob, extractor and a fitted dish washer. There is also a toaster, microwave and coffee machine provided. The cupboards have all the essential cooking utensils, crockery and plates.
From the kitchen you walk into the lounge and dining areas.
There is a 6 seater wooden dining table for those rare times when you wish to dine indoors.
The lounge area is very tastefully arranged and furnished with a log burner and a LED TV with HDMI points. Free WIFI and IPTV are provided. This is a light room leading to the pool and outside terraces and also internally to the bedroom and bathrooms.
The Master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed, fitted wardrobes and air-con. The en-suite shower/wet room is modern and stylish, recently refurbished to a high standard. You also have a patio door adding extra light and you can walk out to the inner courtyard for those extra moments of peace and alone time!
Bedroom 2 is a great size and complete with twin beds, wardrobe and air-con.
There is also a family shower/bath room which again has been fitted to high standards, a great cast iron bath and unusual stained glass detail adding to it's charm.
We also provide a laundry room with washing machine for your use.
The pool terrace and garden includes an outside kitchen area with gas BBQ and shaded dining area. Once you've seen it you will not want to leave!
This is a private and secluded area and not shared or overlooked, perfect for sunbathing and enjoying a quiet dip in the pool.
There is also an outside shower for you to cool down and remove the oils and lotions prior to entering the swimming pool.
The villa is located approximately 2km in the campo (countryside) outside CĂłmpeta pueblo in the Almajara Mountain range. The access road to the villa is mainly concreted and well maintained and easily navigated.
The garden and pool terraces are fully fenced.
The surrounding villages offer many bars, restaurants to dine, so can easily eat out every day and sample the local cuisine at an affordable price.
This area is renowned for its speciality CĂłmpeta Wine and festival dishes of Migas, Paella and the sharing of the grapes.
Within the village of CĂłmpeta it is possible to organise tours to vineyards, walking tours, boat trips, hire of cycles, jeeps, kayaks and many many more activities. We recommend that you pay a visit to the tourist office on the edge of the village by the bus stop, they have a wealth of knowledge and speak many languages.
The vibrant pueblo of CĂłmpeta has several supermarkets , panaderias (bread shop) & pescaderias (fish shops) generally open from 9am-8pm daily, except Sundays and Festival days, so worth checking in advance. This area does respect the siesta time of the day 2-5pm so some of the shops maybe closed during this period.
You will also find hairdressers, beauty salons, clothing stores, farmacias, doctors and dentists within the village.
We are approximately 19 km from the nearest beach, Torrox Costa, which is pleasantly clean and well maintained with many bars and chirringuitos for your fish tastes.
The journey from Malaga takes around 1 hour by car.
It is possible to arrange for travel cots and high chairs for your smaller children. Please contact us to arrange (fees payable locally).

Derek and Gill are originally from England but have been expats for many years. We lived and worked in the middle east prior to relocating to Spain.

We love living in Finca Emilio. It is in a quiet and relaxing area but is close to the village of Competa with all its amenities, restaurants and activities.

Finca Emilio is a traditional farmhouse which has been modernised yet retains many original features. The outside dining area is a great space for enjoying a BBQ or home cooked pizza.
