This two-story five bedroom airy cottage is complete with a wrap around porch, private parking and just steps away from beach access.

Relax and enjoy the fresh air on the screened-in wrap around porch. The porch sitting area features a large table, and an ample amount of seating. Entering into the home, you are immediately greeted by oakwood paneling that ties this coastal cottage together from room to room. You will enjoy the crisp main living space with updated furnishings.

Stepping into the kitchen off of the main living space you will find the kitchen has kept some of its most charming features from the original design with new modern amenities. The kitchen comes fully equipped with all with dishes, glasses, and serving ware.

All 5 bedrooms occupy the rest of the home, on the second and first floor. The first bedroom has a King size bed, and plenty of space to store your belongings. Down the hall, guests will appreciate having a full-size bathroom available to them. On the opposite side of the home, you will find two bedrooms with a jack and jill bathroom. One bedroom offers two twin size beds, and the other a Queen size bed.

Making your way outside and downstairs, you will find the fourth and fifth bedrooms. Each of these bedrooms are fit with a half bathroom, and their own secured entrance. The fourth bedroom offers a King size bed, while the fifth offers two twin beds. Also located on this level you will find two outdoor private showers.

Tybee Island is a bustling spot for vacationers and locals alike, with several dining and shopping attractions. We recommend starting your day with an omelette from The Breakfast Club. For lunch, wash down a plate of fish and chips with an ice cold mojito at The Deck Bar. Before leaving town, be sure to grab a few momentos to remember the island at Seaside Sisters. You'll find a collection of tiny beach shops nearby.

Tybee Wicker Cottage

Great location, easy walk to beach and grocery. Quiet street. Enjoyed the screened in porch. Very clean (no bugs or cobwebs anywhere). Checkout process was simple.

Quaint cottage

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tybee Island. The Wicker cottage was as pictured. Enjoyed spending time in the house although it's an old enough home that I feel some updates beyond aesthetics may need to be done to meet the rental price, i.e., lighting, wiring, insulation. I would recommend the house but at a lower rental price.

June 24 to July 1, 2023

Me and my wife and out 3 college student and their 3 college friends all enjoyed our time at Wicker Cottage. The very airy and awesome screened in porch with the picnic table gave us all time to enjoy being together for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We only went out to eat twice while we were on the island. Of course, when we had a glitch, the staff at Lucky Savannah were very quick and gracious to fix any problem we encountered. Overall, me and my wife highly recommend Wicker Cottage for your family stays! It’s convenient to everything on the island!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The directions to the property were incorrect. It is the 2nd house on left, not third. I called and someone stayed on the phone with me until found. The fitted sheet did not fit our bed, it was much too small and popped off repeatedly. Overall, our stay was still enjoyable. The deck was wonderful. We enjoyed many a morning coffee with the ocean breeze.

Charming, cozy cottage

We loved spending a long weekend at Wicker Cottage. How nice that the owners have maintained the original feel of this rambling, old beach home while still making it feel clean and updated. The kitchen is small, but functional and well stocked. We only used the upstairs bedrooms as we didnt need the lower level rooms. Only complaint is the lighting. Several lamps weren't working properly and it took us all weekend to find the switch for the kitchen overheard light (it's hidden to the side of the microwave.) Thanks for sharing your home with us! (p.s. had an amazing dinner at Salt Island...hIghly recommend!)

House was dirty

PLEASE READ!! We did not find this property in the condition that other reviews portrayed. The outdoor showers had black mold growing on the walls. The bedrooms downstairs are not connected to the main floor by interior stairs, a very important detail if traveling with small children. Also, both of the downstairs bedrooms had an odor, were dark, no overhead lighting, and most lamps didn’t work. Upstairs we found cobwebs in the bedrooms and dust on the kitchen walls. None of the interior doors had locks and most wouldn’t even shut. The main bathroom shower curtain was tied together on each end because all the holes for the hooks were torn. The hot water knob on the shower falls off. Once it hit my one year old grandson while he was taking a bath. The bathroom at the front of the house sometimes had water while other times nothing came out of the sinks or shower. The kitchen didn’t have utensils for 10 people to eat at the same time. The porch was so dirty we couldn’t let the baby down. Several blinds broken.

Not what the pictures described

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time, however the house was not as described in the pictures, there were 3-4 blinds broken, the porch floor was very dirty, the furniture was different from the pictures, the house was OLD and very dated, the kitchen was very very small, more than one person was crowded. It took a long time for the house to cool down, the temp got up to 76 every day about 3 and cooled down about midnight.

Family Beach Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Wicker Cottage! Plenty of room for 3 adults and 6 boys (ages 2, 4, 9 and 3 15 yr olds). The beach is maybe a 5 min walk away. Not over crowded and family friendly. We had a wagon to haul our beach chairs and pop up tent so the walk was not bad at all. We loved the screened porch and the outdoor showers to rinse the sand off. The kitchen is on the small side, but I don't like anyone in the kitchen when I cook anyways. It has pots/pans/utensils you can use to cook/bake and a charcoal grill. The house was clean and you can tell it is well cared for. We will definitely book this cottage again in the future!

At first glance....

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The photos give the impression that the place is very new. When you first pull up the outside is sorta dingy. In spite of that,this was an amazing place. It's a short walk to the beach. The room are nice sized. The lighting could be better but is nice. Laundry room nice. HUGE deck for our grandsons to run around and play. I was able to get our Suburban in the garage. Kids played in the front and had fun. The beach was very nice. I would recommend this place to anyone. We would love to rent this again in the future, and bring more family members. Again this is a must rent place. Also there's an IGA less than 1/2 a mile a way. We shopped there. It has everything you could want.

Pretty good

The property is close to the beach and the porch was amazing! There were a lot of light bulbs out or missing so that was a bit annoying. The kitchen was very dark and it was hard to prep food. Based on the reviews, the light bulb thing has been an issue for quite some time. The amenities said “hair dryer” but only one was on site and it was very dated. The mirrors are foggy/old so with the combined darkness, it is very hard to get ready. The three upstairs bedrooms are bright and very nice. The bathrooms and kitchen could use a bit of a facelift.

Family Retreat

Loved the location. Mid beach is the place to be. Porch wonderful for family time. House has 2 stair cases the back one has lock box for keys. Be careful on stair case poor to no lights at night and no handrail on the side you need to go in, difficult manoeuvring for an 80 year old. House needs better lighting in kitchen one light only and we had 6 lights with burned out bulbs thru out the place. Air went out one day but I brought a fan so it helped. We are a big group of cookers so we would recommend getting a can opener, sharp knife ,and toaster would be nice. All in all good vacation house.

Got better as the week wore on

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I'll start with the pros. Great porch! We lived out there all week. The bedrooms were spacious and we loved the pine walls. There was a Weber grill that we used and other items on the property we appreciated were available for use like umbrellas, a cooler, etc. The cons - Living room and kitchen were small, the TV in one of the rooms did not function due to no plug adapter, several light bulbs were burnt out and it is a hike to get to the beach (takes 7 minutes). Over time, however, we got used to it and it was not a deal breaker, just bring a wagon to haul your gear. We had a great time at this house, despite minor inconveniences listed above. I would recommend this to someone as long as they understood it was a hike to the beach, living room was small and that it is an older house, which we liked and thought gave it character.

Quaint and quirky

We rented this cottage to celebrate our daughter finishing grad school. It is a charming property: older, lovely and a little quirky. We did have a couple of maintenance issues; however the property management dealt with them promptly and pleasantly! Very happy with our time there and would not hesitate to rent again.

Amazing screened porch!

Awesome front porch. Spent most of our time out there. Classic Tybee beach house in 1930s style architecture. Nice not being on one of the pay streets as no traffic and quiet. Just what we were looking for.

The keys were a bit confusing but we got the hang of it. The furniture was a bit outdated and the sheets did not fit the size of the bed but we made do.
